Cool little Unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time buying one of these wall units so the expectation was already low but this unit actually made me feel great about my choice. I really like the ability to program cooling times and set temperature and fan speed. Love that is wifi compatible because I control it through my Alexa speakers and/or my phone. The only downside is that once it's on, it's always on. It doesn't stop blowing cold air even after the target temperature is reached. This is an issue with your electric bill for sure but if you don't particularly care how much you spend in electricity, then this is meaningless.

      We like it, it certainly does keep our living area cool. We are limited to only one window in our older home that will permit the use of an AC unit so having the capacity to cool a fairly large area effectively was important and this one does the job. However, the down side of this is that it won't cool below 68 degrees, no matter the current setting or temp inside or out! One can set it for 60 degrees but the condenser/cooling shuts off at 68 no matter what. I want to be the one who decides how this should operate. Not sure who or what makes this happen but I do not like it!!

      3 days. So far it’s working great. Is a bit noisy but I expected that.Only downside is the side accordion looking things don’t really work great.Ordering a foam insulation product to put around frame to help with air escaping in cracks.Should come with the unit. Had to YouTube some videos to make sure we were installing correctly because we’ve never used one and had a lot of questions.

        Don't waste your money
        We received no installation materials or remote in the box, we got the remote 5 days later. The unit is very loud and doesn't cool well, the controls are confusing and hard to use. The customer service is offshore and very hard to communicate with due to the language barrier. I would not recommend this unit to anyone, I am looking to replace this piece of garbage ASAP, hopefully my loss is your gain and you buy something better than I did.

            Cools well but "Dry" setting is lousy
            Just purchased the 14000 BTU Smart AC. Regular cooling mode works quite well. Low speed cools efficiently and very quietly. Smart setup w/ Alexa was quick and easy. However, "Dry" mode (which is supposed to dry more than cool) is pretty useless - it turns off/on every 10-30 seconds! No matter what the temp is set to - even 3 degrees below the actual room temp - it constantly powers on/off. The unit almost never stays on for more than 30 seconds (and most of the time it's much shorter).
