A beautiful addition to a kitchen makeover. This replaces a rather large side by side 10 year old refrigerator that still works fine but was getting stale style wise and a bit obtrusive in its designated space. The counter depth of this LG helps balance out the "feel" of the kitchen area so much better. The front stainless steel finish is gorgeous (the sides are simply painted a medium gray but still complimentary for those like me that have one side exposed). Stainless steel comes in many different types of alloys (different alloy metals allow for different desired properties such as corrosion resistant, tensile strength, appearance etc.) used to create it and this one allows for the use of magnets for those concerned about such things. This machine is super quiet in operation (with the exception when it drops ice cubes into the freezer located basket) while the older one would occasionally "growl" like an injured cat. The jury is still out on the freezer compartment which is basket style opposed to the shelves in the side by side... it holds more volume but I kinda miss the organization the shelves provided. Now I just have to decide where to put the cake that I may or may not want to eat when the time comes to test the time honored philosophical challenge

Lots of room, dual ice makers, absolutely beautiful finish. This is a replacement for an older, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. This one has French doors which either one or both open to a spacious refrigerator, allowing storage of large items (e.g. leftovers from special occasion family dinners). The temperature is consistent throughout (no hot/cold spots). I really like the dual ice makers, a smaller one in the door is adequate for day to day use, but the additional one in the freezer compartment has a large ice bin, which is great when ice consumption is high during parties, etc. The shelves are adjustable. The bins in the door are two sizes, narrow on one side (suitable for single row items), whereas the bins in the other door are twice the depth suitable for larger items or double row items. The main compartment has separate drawers for more delicate items such as fruit/veggies/deli meats, etc. I really like the ability to "lock" the front touch screen/water dispenser. Two year olds love to run the water onto the floor, no problem, lock the panel and no more water on the floor. I really like this refrigerator, lots of room, nicely designed and looks modern and stylish.

Ive only had this fridge for a couple of days, but so far so good. I was a little apprehensive about trying another LG Refrigerator with all of the problems that I've had with my previous one, but I decided to give it a shot. This is the perfect addition to my Man/Kid's Cave. At only 22 cubic ft., it wouldn't really work well as my primary fridge. It will hold plenty of beer and juice boxes for the cave though. Well, primarily juice boxes, water and Gatorade, but a man can dream. It has a stylish design and the LED lights look great on this thing. I have to run the water line so that I can get the ice dispenser to work, but that shouldn't be a problem since its in the basement next to my furnace room. I think the dual ice makers is going to be a great feature also. Ice can be dispensed from the door and it is also produced in the freezer and drops into the supplied bin. Perfect for parties. The only negative I have found with this refrigerator is the SmartThinQ features. I haven't been able to connect it to my phone and its near a wireless router. I didnt take off any stars for this because honestly its not that big of a deal. If I were able to log in and see what was in the fridge while I was at the store, then it would be a bigger deal, but for my purposes, it isn't really a necessity. Only time will tell if this performs better than my previous model, but so far I'm pleased with this refrigerator and would recommend it.

Working great so far. Install was good. Team on time and careful with the install. Like the color. Note - the sides of the fridge are black metal, not the black stainless gray color of the front. Not a big issue just a heads up. Ice working great on both the door and underneath. Left door is heavier than I expected but that is due to the ice. We just try and make sure to close that one gently vs letting it slam closed. Keeping everything nice and cold as promised. Like the taller opening for the water dispenser - can fit a pitcher under it to fill vs. tilting it funny like we had to do with our our older GE.

This fridge is strangely larger than other fridges of comparable size. The fridge is wifi enabled which allows it to call home when it is broken (unless the wifi is broken, then you have to call home and hold your cell phone up to the special port above the fridge doors). It has two ice makers which is great if you plan on having parties, it can make lots of ice very quickly. It has a big control panel on front of the door and the ice/water dispenser are oversized for larger containers. The interior of the fridge has a bright light making it easy to see all the goods inside. The compressor is very quiet and you can only hear the ice maker filling with water if you listen very very closely. The negatives of this fridge... it took about 4 days before it started making ice. There is an "app" for it, but the app doesn't do much other than tell me how much wattage it is using and how many times the door has been opened. And it allows you to turn on the ice plus feature. The control panel on the front allows you to set the temperature of the freezer and fridge. It would be nice if they told you what the current temperature of the fridge was as well. I spent my first couple of days with the unit trying to figure out how cold it was and if it was ready for me to put my food back in it. The second ice maker in the freezer dumps ice on to the top shelf. You have the option of having frozens or ice, not both (unless you want your frozens covered in ice. You can turn the ice makers on/off separately. The ice maker in the door has enough for regular every day use. It would have been nice if the freezer had a little rack/shelf in the door to hold small things like pints of ice cream so they do not get lost in the big freezer drawer.

We got this refrigerator because we wanted a bigger one. The previous unit was also manufactured by LG but was a counter width model. I look for appliances with an energy star rating from a high quality manufacturer. I have long term experience with LG, with many types of products. They last the longest with almost no repairs. I want a unit where I do not have to worry about getting an extended warranty as my first concern. It does have the impressive Linear Inverter compressor with a 10 year warranty, one year on the rest. This feature alone will generally make sure this fridge lasts well over 10 years. I made sure the ice maker was a newer generation model. [ I did have an ice maker problem on a LG unit a few years back, fixed on warranty] The fridge has door cooling which is needed for a fridge of this size. It is quiet and a proven energy saver. This a high quality unit. This is fairly basic unit as far refrigerator gadgets go. It does not come with a butter compartment. You will also find that it lacks one shelf adjustment setting. It has 4 instead of five. The fifth is not needed in my opinion. This came with two ice makers. It comes with WI-FI to set it apart in this price range. I could live without it but I will be using it should service ever be needed. It works fine. It was fairly easy for two people to install. Just make sure it fits any door way and hallways it needs to go through, to make it to the kitchen. If you do have to have the doors removed, have a professional do it. The ice maker hook up at the fridge is designed for easy. I also place a tremendous amount of importance on the vendor. Home Depot goes the extra effort in making sure it is delivered properly. If you should have to return it, there is no better company in my experience, for everything they sell. If you have to have an extended warranty theirs will be cheaper, better, and far less hassle than the 3rd party sellers that robo call you. Next, since LG makes a lot of different fridges under as many model numbers. It is very possible after do your research, find something you like and get something a bit different. Always check. If there is a feature you really want make sure you have right model number. The quality will be remembered a lot longer than the price. I expect this unit to last a long time.

First and foremost, I chose this refrigerator because it is an LG product. This is my 5th LG product. I have purchased 4 LG products, 2 heating and ac units and a washer and dryer. Their customer service has only been needed on one of the products (ac) and I am pleased to report that they made such a good impression on me that I look for LG first. I find their products to be of high quality workmanship and built with consumer needs in mind. You need to read my entire review because I think some of the description posted does not match the actual refrigerator. There seems to be a mix up. Refrigerators come in different sizes these days. You really do have to pay attention to the measurements to figure out which refrigerator will work for you. In my particular situation, I have limited overhead space due to cabinetry. I cannot accommodate a taller refrigerator. I do have plenty of floor space and can accommodate a unit that takes up more floor space. I have tried getting a short flat refrigerator and just did not have enough space for hardly anything.. What good are shelves if they are so close together they are nearly useless? With this refrigerator I have happily given up floor space to gain space inside the refrigerator - lots of shelf space- just look at my pictures. Husband loves the double icemakers,and the smaller ice cubes. I love the shorter depth door space on the ice maker door as it holds those slim containers that tend to tip and slide around in an upright position. The other door has plenty of depth for those who like to put gallon containers in the door. There are some errors in the description: You can change your settings remotely using the app thanks to wifi technology. We use our Amazon Alexa. You can't share shopping lists and upload photos between your smartphone and this refrigerator. You can't use the app to remotely check the contents and you don't get a message on your phone when the door is left open. There is a delightful door chime that sounds if it is left open. Husband loves that he can increase ice production from his smartphone. He also likes to tell me how many times the refrigerator was opened during the day.. This is not a 4 door refrigerator and it doesn't have an ultra tall 12.6" water/ice dispenser. The dimensions were correct. The water/ice dispenser area is so very sweet with its sleek design. I have seen people's stainless refrigerators that just looked terrible on the outside. I have no idea how they are cleaning them. To make them look brand new - just like you would with a stainless sink- rub them with mineral oil. Just in case your floor is like mine - this refrigerator likes to be kept balanced. My tile floors are not totally even. If someone pushes the refrigerator back towards the wall where the flooring is uneven, it becomes unbalanced and there is a clicking sound. I just have to push it back into the balanced spot - which is much easier than adjusting the balancing legs in the front. I am so pleased with this refrigerator, I even like the way it hides the hinges in the front. The doors open easily and seal well. It looks and feels like a high quality refrigerator and is quite good looking!

This LG refrigerator was delivered by Home DePot on the date promised. Set up went well. The refrigerator operated great for the first 11 months. The unit was quiet, looked great, kept everything cold and the dual ice makers were very handy. Until I had it for 11 months. I came home one afternoon and the refrigerator was making such a loud noise I thought an airplane was landing in my kitchen. I called LG customer service. They told me it was likely my ice maker fan was freezing up. I should empty my FULL refrigerator and FULL freezer, unplug the unit, open all the doors and allow it to defrost from 8 hours. I did that without resolving my issue. I called LG back. They sent a local warranty repair person. They diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. A week later the repair person returned but the new replacement part was defective too. The second repair part (ice maker assembly) is now on order. Hopefully, the second repair part for my less than 1 year old refrigerator will not be defective this time. Time will tell... I thought LG was better than this.

The frig is working great and I like the shape of the ice.

The door ice maker works great for me ,and the bottom ice maker works for my son. The only thing i would do differently is get the deeper depth instead of counter-depth, as it would give me just a little more room.

Little disappointed in freezer capacity and ice maker motor fan burning out and not even two years old. Could have had better design in freezer tray rolling out a little farther than what it does.

I looked in the manual there was nothing really that kind of caught my eye, so the gentleman on the phone just merely said you’d not don’t touch the icon, but the words below it, well that’s all it took it went away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many error code dF5 issues. Have had repair numerous times. Always the same problem. Repair people have replaced the tempeture sensor in bottom drawer area twice. Also replaced the electronic board. Unit runs for several months and then the same error code... dF5 returns. When it works the refrigerator is great but the reliability is very low. When the error happens the unit turns off and will not turn back on until the opera iOS rose. If we are gone for any period of time we must make sure all perishables are moved to another unit. This unit looks great and works well when it is working but cannot be left alone for any extended time. I recommend,m,end another brand...

I purchased this refrigerator about a little more than 3 years ago. Not very happy with the water filter feature. It is very difficult to change water filter when required due to its head assembly sometime do not line up properly with the new replacement filter. I had to return a couple of LG filters as they did not fit properly. Also, the design of the freezer section is not good. Its back walls are slanted which make difficult to store frozen boxes properly.

We bought this refrigerator and we keep getting an error code because ice maker freezing up. We were told we had to defrost our refrigerator for 8 hours. Would never buy this refrigerator again. We have only been using the refrigerator for 4 months.

We bought this in April and have had problems ever since. The freezer drawer is tricky and doesn’t close early, causing problems there. The unit started making buzzing noises and issues with the upper ice maker.

We love everything about our LG Refrigerator. The doors have very spacious storage allowing for all sizes of bottles. The drawers are all smooth sliding and energy efficient. We like how the ice maker is stored in the door providing even more space in. The body of the fridge. The pullout freezer has two separate drawers as well as two large bins for larger frozen foods. WiFi is great allowing us to monitor our fridge when we’re away. Convenient controls and ice/water display and dispenser are easy to use.

For the most part I love this fridge. Great use of space, and counter depth keeps things from disappearing in the back. In-door ice maker is disappointing, as ice clumps in the bin and won't dispense - plus it won't make more as it thinks the bin is full. Support said turn down the freezer & refrigerator temps. Didn't help. Service guy came out and said it's a known issue and I should remove & shake the bin regularly. LG, is this the best you can do? Fortunately there's a 2nd ice maker in the freezer that works well. Lastly, the quick Ice setting doesn't seem to make ice any faster.

Won't get colder than 42 degrees. Had repair guy out 4 times. Home depot taking it back thank GOD!
