[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrible purchase- condensor failed five times in 10 years. Cost us a ton of money in repair and food spoilage. Each repair came with a story of why thisfox would last, but the next failure always came. Finally. we bought a new non-LG refrigerator.

We bought this refrigerator after having one in a prior home. It was there when we moved in, and we loved it so much that we bought a new one for our new house. It meets all our needs and performs up to all expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a previous LG refrigerator and it stopped working after 13 years. So, we went for another LG this time also. The refrigerator is same 36 inches in width but i would say it has almost double the space. The freezer double drawers are very spacious too. So, far working great.

In less than four months cooling stops which is a known issue by LG and we bought a new product but it is the worst one which I dont recommend for anyone to buy,below are the things replaced,can u imagine u spend money to a faulty refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2014. Went to 2021. Died this year. Ice maker sucked. Always getting blocked. Wife hated it. Easily dented and fingerprints. The Ice maker was a pain for 7 years. They don’t make them like they used to.

Since day 1, the bottom door has marks that never come off. I was happy with my purchase until the marks on the door suddenly appeared!! Then the compressor went after having it for 3 years

We are not hard on our appliances and the door trays are weak and brittle. All are cracked and one totally broken. The injection molded acrylic is poorly designed and pron to early failure. Very disappointed

3 years and 3 months and it's done. Fridge has been loud since day one, today it won't get below 60 degrees. Not the first LG product that hasn't lived up to expectations. I'm done with all LG products. I paid almost 3k 3 years ago. What a piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have bought LG products, through the years but NOW re-thinking. The door seal(s) failed and they replaced it. NOW, we have a valve, where the water line goes in, to make the ice. This has failed and leaked all over our floor and RUINED IT! When we rolled the fridge forward, the compressor, motor ALSO has run "WARM-HOT" and burned that area of the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge when remodeling our kitchen. It's super great! Stores everything perfectly and then some. Kids love making crushed ice. Water is very cold from dispenser. The features are just awesome, and it looks wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a year ago and we are very happy with it. We had a side by side previously and I cannot believe how much more room that we have with this one. The interior lighting is great and it is nice to have the water dispenser light up when you are getting water or ice. We were a little apprehensive about the small ice maker (We use a lot of ice in the summer) but it has not been a problem. There is a tray that you can store ice in the freezer and that works out great for us. I normally like to buy U.S. made products but we could not find another one that we liked as well as this one. We have not had one problem with this unit so far.

I bought this in 2013 and wanted to warn people of the problem of ice build-up in the bottom of the freezer. I should have done this years ago but finally i've had enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung French door ice maker was defective after 1 1/2 years of purchase and required 4 service calls and replacement twice in that period of time. Replacement provided and I went with LG.

I bought this unit in July 2013 and am writing this review in August 2017. Overall its performance has been excellent. Love the linear compressor, cooling and freezing, space, lighting, configuration options, and in-door ice-maker. But I have two issues: 1) The left door slams closed and shakes the whole refrigerator even if you just very gently push it closed. It only does this if the right door is also open - when the right door is closed the left closes softly. While I've gotten used to it and manually hold it until closed, when I have guests it's slamming all the time and I have to train them how to do it. Very annoying. 2) The door shelf plastic is poor quality. After about a year one of the clear plastic pieces developed a visible crack, but did not break. Then over the past few years the little white plastic tabs that hold the clear plastic front pieces to the back bracket began to break off, cause the shelf to sag, and crack at the bottom. At this point all but one of them are cracked an dropping, and one of the large ones on the right door is unusable. I contacted LG and Home Depot (extended warranty) about warranty coverage early on, and they said the shelves are considered "consumables" and they would not replaced them. I guess it's not so bad since they can all be replaced for about $175, but it makes me wonder about the longevity of other components. My previous refrigerator was a GE side-by-side bought in 1988 and it never had a problem at all, and is still running at the school where I donated it.

As the main refrigerator for our house, this unit has received daily, almost continuous use since we got it over two years ago. It has been a good refrigerator so far with only a few minor issues. What’s been good: 1. The controls are easy to access and change (temp, ice settings, freezer, etc). 2. The water filter is a nice thing to have and is easily accessible. However, it does take a bit of pressure to pull it out and properly seat a new one. 3. The freezer is roomy, can hold a lot of items and has a handy shelf for storing easily accessible items on the top. 4. The shelving system is easily removed and easily adjusted for different heights. This is the same for the door shelves. 5. The ice maker is quick to make ice, especially on the ice plus setting. 6. The shelf that retracts is also a handy feature which allows for taller items. 7. The controls are lockable which is nice to keep the little ones from adjusting the settings. What could be improved: 1. The refrigerator is fairly loud when the compressor is running. I have pulled it out several times and cleaned the dust out but it has always been loud. 2. The door shelves can easily break (they’re just plastic) if they are slightly overloaded (as we found out after we apparently put one too many items in the door). 3. It seems like the air isn’t distributed evenly as items on the top shelf in the back can easily freeze. 4. The stainless steel doors are not magnetic and so attaching the children’s’ drawings requires tape. 5. The ice can sometimes get stuck in the dispenser which requires opening it up and picking it out. I have noticed though that this only happens if the ice maker has not been regularly used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with the fridge. the same is super spacious and beautiful by inside and by outside. I have to regulate the cold, because there is an area freezada on top of the charger of water and ice. excellent product.

I just love the french doors. The lighting is wonderful and you can really see what is on every shelf with out bending down or getting on your knees. I even like the alarm if the doors are not closed when the grand kids are here.

LG will not stand behind it's products. We purchased this fridge 8 months ago and with in 1 week of having it in our home we noticed that our new tile floor was absorbing liquid/grease/oil from the wheels on the bottom of the fridge. We moved on to the hardwood assuming it was just moisture and it would dry up, only to realize it was not and it has now also damaged out hardwood floor. LG will not take responsibility for this and tells us that the stains that are in a square patter are inconsistent with the wheel location on the fridge. You can even go in to any show room at a big box store and see the concrete stained under the fridges. They take a very long time to respond to any claims and it is next to impossible to speak with anyone on the phone. Do not buy LG id you are expecting a company that will back up their products.

Have had this refrigerator for a couple of years now. Purchased it at the end of November 2013. I was concerned when purchasing about the lightness of the door bins and all the drawers. The gauge of the plastic seemed thin compared to my last unit. But figured LG makes quality products and they must know what they are doing. Problem is, the door bins break very easily between the clear / with plastic part. I now have 3 bins I have to replace for the same exact problem. I suppose I could epoxy these bins back together, but I hate the idea of doing so on $2700.00 refrigerator. It would look very unsightly still pretty new refrigerator. LG will not replace them, and my 5 year home depot extended warranty will not cover it as well. My last refrigerator had milk door bins, etc. And lasted the whole 15 years I owned the unit. Would not recommend buying this refrigerator unless you are ready to replace these bins at $30 a pop from time to time.

We desperately needed a new refrigerator as we had our old one for 18 years! We looked high and low for not only the best priced refrigerator, but one that would suit our needs to a tee. And then we found "HER!" It was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! From her smooth white 26.8 cu. feet, to her three French doors, we knew we simply had to have her! This beautiful "girl" now sits regally in our kitchen. To say we love her, could not be more of an understatement. Simply put: she would win a beauty pageant, and clearly, the talent segment as well! If you're on the fence about which refrigerator to purchase and where, Home Depot is the place, and ... the price could not be beat. Anywhere! -TWO EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS!!!!!

The last thing I would expect from a Stainless Steel Refrigerator is STAIN. Yes, it has stains on all over the front side. It is not due to our use. They look like rust stains. I have also an LG dishwasher, range and microwave purchased on the same day. No stains on them. Stains started within a few months. First, it was easier to clean but now hardly removable. I used their website and reported this issue but no response. I just called their customer service. They recommended using stainless steel cleaner. I will try it but I think it will work for a few days since It should have never got this much stains on it. Nice looking product until you purchase it. You'll be happy for a few months. I assume most good feedback submitted within a few weeks. I am not happy with this brand and their customer service.

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Its a gorgeous fridge! For the most part, I love it. I've never had a french door style fridge, only the side-by-side. So I was excited to get more fridge space. The shelves are easy to move, and the space saving ice maker is really nice, because you don't lose shelf space like you do with a few other models we looked at. My biggest complaint is the slide and glide drawer, and how you have to open both doors to open that drawer. Honestly. I wish it was separated into tho smaller drawers instead of the one longer one. I always try and short cut it by opening one door and trying to open the drawer, and it never works. You'd think I'd learn. The in-door water and ice maker work great. We use the water dispenser 45,000x a day, I think. The flow is a little weak, but I'm guessing that has more to do with the water pressure in the house than with the fridge. We did spill water on the floor the first time we used it, thinking you put the cup in where it goes for the ice..then pressed the water button...next thing, I'm washing my floor. LOL! WE had a giggle and quickly learned how it is actually used. I'm not sure I love the pull out fridge. I've seen other models that I think are set up better, but it is what it is. I would still recommend this fridge. I love it.

I love this refrigerator! It has so much room, and so easy to get things in and out of. The freezer holds so much and things are easy to locate. Now I can stock up with groceries for more than a week or two! The lighting is super fantastic for both refer and freezer, very bright! No hunting for something. The fact that we can lock the door feature for water and ice is fantastic when I have the little grand kids over. Delivery was on time and totally professional. The only thing I don't like is it shows the finger prints and I can live with that. .

I was visiting a friend when her new LG fridge was delivered and it was love at first sight. My favorite features are the large door storage shelves and the tiny in-door ice maker.

So far so good! Everything works great, love the double doors and led lighting. The ice maker is quiet, and produces enough for my wife and I (we don't use that much). It also has an ice box in the freezer you can manually fill from the ice maker if you need more ice on hand.

This LG refrigerator not only brightens up the kitchen, but access is so much easier with the french door style than with the side-by-side we are replacing. Plenty of space, and the refrigerator/freezer compartments are laid out just right with ample shelf and drawer space. The ice maker is practically invisible as it's housed in the door itself leaving that much more space in the freezer. Well done LG!

Very highly rated in Consumer Mags. Very professional and kind delivery team. Its only been a week, but this fridge is a big improvement over what was only an 8 year old model from a different company.

We have had this refrigerator for three months. Now, that is not long I realize but, so far it is great. The lighting makes finding items in the rear easy. The two doors allow both shoulders in to retrieve heavier foods such as, a turkey or a roast. Holiday leftovers had plenty of room. The "Glide 'N" Serve" drawer holds raw meats nicely so cross contamination is unlikely. I enjoy not bending over to retrieve items from the refrigerator every time I use this appliance. I only get into the freezer once/day compared to the multiple times per day for non-frozen foods. I gave energy efficiency good rather than excellent due to the fact that this is a newer purchase. We will be able to tell if it is energy efficient as time goes by.
