I would have given 5 stars for this product but I have had it less than a month and I already have an issue so....
This refrigerator is perfect for my space since I was looking for counter depth and liked the idea of the front storage door. I appreciate the shallow frig space making cleanout and inventory easy. If you have a large family or don't have a second refrigerator in another space, this may not be for you. I like the chime reminder if a door is open as well. The delivery team was friendly and professional. I did not pay for installation since my plumber was delayed and I was moving this new appliance over 3 feet.
I do have a defect with the clear film that is behind the door handles that is beginning to peel up. It appeared as a small bubble on the edge and now has peeled away and won't stay down.
I have no idea how you could even repair this. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

The overall mechanical design seems good, but we will have to see in 5 years if it holds up. The exterior design is well done, the lower drawer freezer compartment is well done and the ice maker is nice too. We do like the ice maker / water dispenser in the front and the temperature controls on the door. We also like that we can see what's in the fridge without opening the door and with just a knock on the window. The outside door on the right is nice for conveniently opening the door to access milk and other items quickly. It is one of the reasons we bought this refrigerator.
What we do NOT like is the interior. These are things you don't think about when looking at appliances in the store but do notice them when you’re at home. Like the top tray in the right door is totally useless. It sits too high to put anything practical in it.... maybe eggs? The storage compartments in the doors need a drop-down front panel lip, especially the upper right one. The reason for the lower lip is so you can remove items quickly and not have to literally lift them out. All trays need to be adjustable, where you are able to remove them and put them a step lower or higher. These trays cannot be moved, only removed.
The inside shelves are pretty restricted. For the price of this unit, I would expect adjustable shelves or shelves that can be switched from left to right. The right-side lower area above the fruit/vegetable trays cannot hold large items without removing the shelf. Like a large pitcher for ice tea. You can't put the shelf on the left side and it’s not adjustable to go higher without hitting the next shelf up, so you end up taking the shelf out and its useless. I would expect the shelf in question have a crank to lower or heighten the shelf, or more sockets to move it up or down or be able to use it on the left side. Something to make the shelf not so restricted in design.
The water filter has been a downhill battle. I would think they would use a filter that takes out bad tastes in the water, but we used PEX line for the ice maker and after 2 months flushing water through the system, the water still tastes like chemicals and plastic. I read all about PEX, so I doubt that is the issue after two months and I bought a quality brand PEX. I read a lot of reviews about this refrigerator having this issue with PEX or copper lines, old or new. We were skeptical about this issue and hoped we would be on the higher side of fortunate like some consumers that did not have this taste issue. The taste in improving, but I suspect the filter will need to be changed before it gets much better. Not a positive for this refrigerator.
We are still on the fence about returning the refrigerator and choosing a different brand with better amentias for the price.
I am not recommending this product because the price does not equal the value.

For transparency, we’ve only had the refrigerator for a little over a month. We had a 31 cu ft LG (for about 7 yrs) but sold it with our house. In the new home we needed something specific to the size of the surround. This fits like a glove. The delivery team was great. One of the gentlemen was a seasoned vet and got her in quickly and more importantly safely. So many positives... it fits the space, it looks good and the sale price was right (and I like the option of two ice makers when we are having company over). The only opportunity I can see at this point is the water/ice dispenser. On the old LG, the water and ice were “separate”. On this model you have to select water OR ice on the control panel before dispensing; spoiled maybe, but this is an inconvenience that I had not noticed prior to purchase. So far satisfied with this purchase.
Absolutely LOVE it! I was skeptical about the reviews, but so far it has exceeded our expectations. Delivery and install was great. I highly recommend this refrigerator! We are loving the double ice maker this summer.
After a few weeks I really like this counter deep fridge. The build quality is excellent and it looks great in my kitchen. I love the outer door for highly used items and do use it quite a bit. I’ve also used the window option more times than I thought I would for quick checks on milk and oj and stuff. The downside so far is that you have to be fairly organized with these drawer freezers on the bottom. Since it is mostly bins you can easily pile things in and forget them. And for some reason I am still getting some plasticy taste in the ice after multiple emptying of the ice bin, but not in the water, which I find strange.
My wife really wanted the new see through window, whereas I really wanted dual ice makers. This was a substancial upgrade from my previous fridge. Couple notes/complaint: There is only 1 divider in the freezer space, and no mini shelf in the sliding door. (In the freezer) I liked to put ice packs for the kids and batteries in this little shelf, and I liked to separate meats/veggies/frozen foods in the bottom... It looks like there is a space for a shelf in the door, which is probably favored for the higer models, but it would have been great to have additional accessories available if I wanted to buy them. I looked. No luck. In addition, the shelve placement is limited in the fridge doesn't allow for a wine bottle to be placed in the lowest space AND to have more than one shelf above it. So, now we have a huge space above our wine with only one shelf. Lastly, there are no dividers for the pull out drawer. I feel this was a huge oversight. I like to separate cheeses, and snacks and meats in this drawer. I think if LG could offer additional accessories, this would have been a great option.
So far, I'm in love!! I have only had my new refrigerator for nearing a month, but I am very pleased. So far (knock on wood) I have had no problems. Set up was a breeze. Love all the space!!
Love the ice and water maker. If I had one thing I'm not fond of is there is not a lot of room for tall stuff unless I took a shelf out.
