This is a top of the line refrigerator! It brings next level technology, today. It uses just 59 grams of R600a refrigerant, unlike most other refrigerators that use R134a refrigerant. It is thousands of times better for the environment, much more energy efficient, less corrosive on the refrigerant tubing, therefore there is added longevity and efficiency to it. I liked insulation, it seems that walls are 15% thicker than the old refrigerator it replaced and it was able to hold temperature at 40F differential with ambient temperature for about twice as long. Every element seems to have been manufactured using top quality materials, even hinges of the doors are stainless yet high carbon grade steel. No other fridge manufacturer does that because stainless is normally pliable and they have to add weight, or go with higher grade and more expensive material, like LG did on this one. Freezer door is a hat-tip to old style freezers with door handle that swings and unlatches, this one just pushes out so that opening is easier and smoother. Cooling of the door ice-maker is done by dedicated air vents, which is a great and simple, yet very efficient solution. The windowed door features light at the bottom, so it shines on the floor so you don't trip over anything during those late night snacks. I particularly liked that they used PEX tubes for the water instead of PPE like most other. Refrigerators of this volume depend heavily on good airflow within the internal space, and I like how LG solved it by having a brushless fan motor protected by an air filter from debris. Excellent solution, just like the unique and revolutionary technology of a linear compressor which combined with two evaporator coils gives out unparalleled energy efficiency with twice the cooling capacity. It is unique technology and design, superior materials and great performance that makes LG refrigerator stand out. Worth every penny, and although a little bit more expensive than the rest out there, it offers next level features and unsurpassed efficiency. Internal organization is very intuitive and well thought out, everything is organized around cooling airflow, and that is why it has a very distinct gradient cooling zones inside. Fridge was my biggest concern with usually heavy items left on top of light ones, but LG solved this with three zones there as well, which allows you to separate your frozen meat and associated bacteria from it,from waffles and veggies that you eat just thawed. Perfect job!

Our first one was a lemon, and had numerous problems. Home Depot replaced it and the second has been perfect. We really wanted the "craft ice", which is great. We thought the door-in-door would be a gimmick, but it actually works very well and makes getting stuff we need often very efficient. The door ice maker makes plenty of ice. It's very quiet.

This LG 30 cu. Ft. InstaView 3-Door French Door Refrigerator more than satisfies any need we have for a refrigerator. The 30 cu. Ft. size gives us the flexibility to not have to cram food into a fridge, and it doesn’t take up a large space in the kitchen. When delivered, in order to fit through our house doors, I found it much easier to simply remove the door and drawer handles, then removing the doors entirely. Connection was straight forward. I love the location of the water filter, being recessed within the door. It is now so much easier to reach, and change without having to reach in the top, back of the fridge as previously located. At first, I didn’t think our Craft Ice maker was working. Once our fridge was hooked up, about a day later, the primary ice maker was making ice…But not the Craft Ice Maker. I called it in, but because this feature is so new, LG support was unable to help me out over the phone beyond your basic…Is it plugged in stuff. Low and behold…Almost 2-days later, we heard this loud banging come from the fridge. When we looked around, there were 3, sort of round, ice balls in the ice bin. Since then, our Craft ice has become more circular, and clear. Just a note, when these balls go into the ice bin, you will know the balls are being dropped into the bin. Pretty loud. Having the button selections for water, cube and crushed ice now located on the top of the depression handle is really nice. The buttons are touch sensitive rather than pressure, so you don’t have to mash the button…Just touch it. I’m not sure how much use I’ll get from the auto-fill options for 4, 8, 16, and 32 ounce fills, but that’s something we actually may use down the road. When running, this fridge is the quietest one we’ve owned. You simply don’t hear it running! We were somewhat skeptical about having one, large freezer drawer, and having food “buried” in the bottom of the drawer. What we found is that this drawer is divided with drawers inside, that break up the drawer capacity into manageable sections. It is a very nice touch to make seeing what’s in the freezer, and finding what you’re looking for, so much easier. Also within the freezer, is the Craft ice maker and ice bin. The maker and bin take up almost no freezer room at all. Having the stainless steel finish in the PrintProof finish is especially nice to have. Cleaning the kitchen stainless was decreed upon me as my “job”, and I hated the part when it came to cleaning the refrigerator…It took me forever to clean, and I dreaded it every time. Now, for the most part, you simply wipe the refrigerator down with a micro cloth, and that’s about it…Love it!!! We’re finding the Door-in-Door feature rather convenient to have and use. At first, we totally looked at this feature as a gimmick, and something else to eventually break. Now that we’ve had a chance to use it, we are finding it pretty darn usefull, and actually enjoy having it. We absolutely don’t find milk, juice, or the condiments stored within this Door-in-Door any warmer than what you’d expect them to be. Everything within this door is cold…Perhaps not as cold as stuff in the mail part of the fridge, but it’s not that much warmer either…Bottom line, we have zero issues with stuff stored within this Door-in-Door section. Overall, we are delighted with this refrigerator, and Highly Recommend it.

LG Electronics 24 cu. ft. 3-Door French Door Refrigerator is a beautiful appliance. It is called a Black Stainless Steel but I would call it a Gunmetal finish. It is sleek, shiny, and has the styling of a high-end appliance. The door face is print proof but will not hold a magnet. The sides are black and will hold a magnet for your reminders, etc. I love the glass front door which, when used with the latch will only open a cooler sized opening. It's great for grabbing a drink or condiments where you don't need the entire fridge open and allowing cool air to escape. Through the glass door, when lit by tapping the handle, your guests can preview drink options without standing with the door open. There are two ice options in this fridge: small cubes which are nicely shaped so that many fit in a cup and the craft ice balls that are the size of a golf ball or larger. The craft ice really lasts long in a cooler, but plan ahead since it does take ~ 24 hours to make about 3 pieces. I also like the freezer set up. There are two large bins for large items like a turkey or bags of chicken. Then there are two flat drawers - great for lying down a slab of ribs or a loaf of garlic bread where they aren't having to be repositioned anytime you're looking for something or trying to pull an item out. Makes for less time with the freezer wide open. The only complaint that I have is that the button to switch the in the door water and ice requires a very strong push (more than a press). All in all though, the LG refrigerator exceeded my expectations and seems to be very well thought out.

This is an awesome refrigerator!! This is by far the most stylish and great looking fridge that I have owned. The black stainless appearance is nothing but very high class! The refrigerator has an overall feel of high quality! The glass door on the right is awesome! I love being able to reach in the front glass section without opening the whole door! The refrigerator has two ice makers, which is great for our family of four! (We use tons of ice). This is a very good choice for anyone in the market for a new refrigerator. The manufacturer also has other matching kitchen appliances. A+!!

I wrote an awesome recommendation for this appliance, but after a few weeks dealing with the terrible tasting water and ice being dispensed I have changed my opinion of this pricey appliance. I did contact LG customer care and they are sending me out a new filter. They explained how they have not created a water/ice by-pass plug for this unit at this time. The water and ice has been changed out several times or approximately 20 gallons of water to flush out the stale taste in water and ice cubes. I was not impressed with the design of the filter's inner charcoal like tubular and lack of anything from preventing particulates passing into the drinking water. I decided to make my own by-pass plug out of the original LG filter. This is what you need to do: 1. I used a simple miter saw and box to cut the filter into two pieces. (see picture) 2. Remove the inner parts by simply pulling them out. (see picture) 3. Sand the surface of the cut edge to smooth for appearance only. 4. Cut a piece of heavy aluminum foil in about 1" inch circle and place inside covering the inlet hole. 5. Fill the cavity with any good quality silicone caulking. (see picture) 6. If you like, sand the base and glue to the inlet cut side and looks just like the original filer intact. NOTE: Let the plug set for at least 24 hours to allow silicone caulking to set-up before installing. NOTE: Remember to dump ice and repeat the steps until old water/ice is purged out of system. This works perfectly and cost less than three bucks and now have great tasting water and ice cubes. Maybe LG will read this and make a by-pass plug real soon for this refrigerator.

LG makes great appliances, and this must be the best refrigerator. First: in comparison to other refrigerator boxes, this one is heavy. The compressor and insulated case are heavy duty. Second: The dual ice feature lower drawer, and upper Ice/water dispenser are slim, but produce that necessity for summer. Good to have the backup. Third: Shelves inside freezer are adjustable for those bigger items. This is a big plus. Organization is easy and you can get to things. Fourth: Knock twice to have the light go on inside, allows you to see what is inside the glass panel and know where to grab, Pretty neat This is a really modern refrigerator which keeps to task, It makes ice, dispenses cold water, holds things in freezer. and keeps things inside cold and fresh. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, and its LG so it will last.

I replaced my 6-yr old LG which was a 27.5 cu foot with this one as the household has downsized and I wanted a second fridge for the garage. The similarities in design are noticeable but this comes with upgraded features. I have noticed the difference in size but again, with less people in the house, this isn’t a problem. Here are some details about the fridge I have noticed: 1. This fridge has a lot of shelving options and possible configurations which is nice for taller items such as milk or 2-litre bottles. 2. The black stainless finish is beautiful and so far, has resisted the fingerprints as advertised. 3. The door ice maker needs to be selected between crush, water and cube. This is a little different from my previous LG but not that big of a deal to get used to. 4. The freezer ice maker is a great option and doesn’t seem to take up that much rom. I love the extra ice storage and the larger cubes in the freezer look cool (although I haven’t seen one perfectly clear yet). 5. The ice maker in the door has an extra rotary lever to help knock the ice loose. This is an improvement over the last model. 6. The lights in the fridge come on gradually which gives my eyes a second to adjust. That said, it took me a little getting used to as I’m used to the light coming on instantly. 7. The small door on the fridge is a nice feature. Tapping the door gets the light to turn on. I put the things that we use the most in this, so we don’t have to open one of the large doors to access these items. 8. There are a couple of small storage bins in the doors (one on each side). These are not very large and about the only thing that fits are small yogurt containers. 9. The freezer has a bin and a couple of shelves. It is large enough to store almost anything I have (except maybe a turkey but I haven’t tried). 10. I downloaded the app and connected the fridge to wifi. It is easy to use but there’s not a lot to do other than set the temp and check the status of the fridge. 11. The water filter is easier to get to with this model as it’s in the door. All that has to be removed is a door bin and the water filter is right there. 12. I like that this fridge comes with an air filter. It does take some force to get the cover off. Enough so that I thought I was going to break something. 13. The print proof black stainless is actually print proof. I tried (with normal, dry hands) and didn’t leave a print. Overall, I’m happy with this fridge as it has a lot of features that are improvements over previous models.

I am really enjoying my new refrigerator. It is such an improvement over my last one. First of all, it is LG brand. I am gradually replacing all my appliances with LG brand appliances because I can count on LG to work well and last long, which is important with big ticket items. My favorite feature is (of course!) the Instaview door-in-door. I didn't realize how many times we opened the refrigerator for beverages until now. I basically just use the door-in-door feature all the time and only open the main doors when I am making meals or putting groceries away. Obviously that is more energy efficient and keeps the food constantly at a cool temperature. The middle shelf in the compartment glides up or down just by pressing the two release buttons so I can put in any size bottle I choose without having to empty the shelf. And the Instaview is so cool! Instead of doing that thing where you open the refrigerator door and just stare (like you don't already know what's in there), now I can tap or touch the window and stare. At least I'm not losing cold air from the fridge. I may have to put pudding cups and chocolate candy next to the beverages in there. There's plenty of room, which is something else I like. This model is 30 cubic feet, and my previous refrigerator was 25. I was concerned about delivery and getting it through the doors. The refrigerator width is 36 inches and the depth 33 inches plus 2.5 for the handles, and the door opening in our older house is 31 inches. It wasn't a problem, though. The delivery men took the freezer drawer out and made quick work of removing and reinstalling the refrigerator doors. I was also concerned about how the new one would fit in my kitchen, but it fits in the same place as the old one without any problem. Surprisingly the outer dimensions are almost the same. The difference is on the inside. It not only looks much roomier, but when I transferred the stuff from the old refrigerator I had space left over instead of things being crammed in from a grocery trip. I included some pictures of my unstaged, everyday, only partially organized refrigerator and freezer contents. I love having so much room, plus the way the shelves and drawers are organized makes it easier to see where things are, like the three tiered freezer drawers and the sliding half shelf in the refrigerator compartment. The bottom freezer drawer is the big one, deep enough to stack two half-gallons of ice cream. I especially like the two thin drawers, one each in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. They are the full width of the refrigerator and 3.25 inches deep, just the right size for packages of deli style lunch meat or frozen vegetables. I can see the entire contents of the drawer at a glance because it's only one layer deep. I'm still evaluating the ice-making capacity. It's definitely better than my old one which never made enough ice. This one has actually two icemakers. One is inside the door where the ice and water dispenser is. The ice container is on the small side (see picture), but there is an "ice plus" button on the dispenser which kicks up ice production for 24 hours (and then I empty that extra ice into the container in the freezer). That ice is cubed. The other icemaker is in the freezer, and it only makes "craft" ice, the big round balls of ice. Those look really cool and they melt much slower than cubes, but the downside is that it makes only three per day. I think I might have preferred quantity over quality but only because my family uses so much ice. However, if the ice production continues to keep pace with consumption, I really enjoy the novelty of the craft ice. Also, real plus on the ice and water dispenser is that it is tall, so there's room to fill even water bottles. I think this refrigerator has a sleek, beautiful appearance. The tinted Instaview window looks black when not activated, so the refrigerator coordinates well with my other kitchen appliances, which are stainless steel and black glass. My old fridge was also stainless steel, but it showed smudges. This new one is much easier to keep clean. I deliberately rubbed my fingers on it, and it did not smudge at all, a welcome change! I am very satisfied with (actually a little excited about!) my new refrigerator.

We cannot be happier with this fridge. We opted to install on our own so that we could give our old fridge to our daughter. With the fridge in our garage we had to remove both fridge doors and the freezer door. This took 30-45 minutes. The doors are very heavy, the door with the ice maker is possibly 75lbs, with the awkward shape the door removal & install is best as a 2 man job. There are numerous electrical connectors that have to be taken apart and put back together, not too difficult but some basic electronic knowledge was helpful. The protective film took quite awhile to remove. Also, if it is not obvious.. this fridge is heavy! 2+ people to lift/move – we used an appliance dolly and 2 men to get up 4 steps and another place with 2 steps. With 30 cu/ft it has heaps of room! Every inch is used in this fridge, I love that where you would usually find nothing you will find a small shelf/cubby, great use of space throughout! The quick entry fridge door on the right side is very handy. You can tap anywhere on that door and the window is lit up so you can see what is inside. By having this quick entry door it gives you access to items you use a lot without letting too much cool air out. When the 2 main fridge doors are open there is a plastic door on the back side of the quick entry area so you can still have access to those items when the fridge is wide open. I love that all 2 drawers on the bottom can be set to specific foods. The two large bins can be set to Fruit or Vegetable. The bottom Glide and Serve drawer is pretty deep, it is intended for party platters and trays of food. We have used it when we make our own hamburger patties on a cookie sheet we also store our lunch meats and cheeses there. The thing I don’t like about the Glide and Slide is that the whole tray does not come out. Only about half of the drawer comes out, so if you have large food trays you need to put them in at an angle. Lastly, the Glide and Slide can be set to Produce, Deli or Meat which is pretty cool. The freezer is amazing! There is the main tub that has a divider you can move depending how much food you have in each half of the tub. Above the main tub is a drawer that can fit items about 2 inches tall, again, large trays of food, thin items, perfect for this area! I recently made a 3 layer cake and froze each later wrapped in foil, fit here perfectly while keeping the cakes flat. The top tray is much deeper, about 5" deep and tons of space! This area can also be used for items that need to lay flat. In the top tray is also the sphere ice maker. The spheres take about 24 hrs to make 3. The spheres are almost full circles, the “bottom” is flat I assume to sit in the bottom of your glass nicely. Overall, we could not be happier. This fridge is much bigger than we had before, it was reasonably easy to install, easy to use, great use of space inside, and smudge proof, so it stays beautiful 24/7!

This product exceeded all of my expectations. The features alone are outstanding. I love the round ice balls that the ice maker in the freezer make. There is so much room in both the freezer and the fridge.I love the shelf on the right hand side that slides back about halfway to make room for an extra tall object. And did you know this unit is Kosher as well. It has a setting for Sabbath mode. I am very impressed with the size as well. It fits perfectly with my counter depth and I don't have any issues opening the doors completely. The security lock on the water/ice dispenser is a super bonus I didn't really think I would use, but then my grand baby who is walking now came to visit. Thanks to that feature there are no more messes. This unit is extremely quiet as well. The finger print proof finish is exactly that. Again, I mention my grand baby who is now walking....no prints. I put products I use most often in the easy reach door and now my fridge runs less often since I am no longer opening the main door to retrieve those items. And they are just as cold in that area of the fridge as they were on the main shelf in my old fridge that didn't have the easy reach door. The installation was super easy...just plug it in after you remove all the plastics, styrofoam, and stickers. Then plug in the water line to the back of the fridge. I opted for a stainless steel water line versus the plastic tube water line, but that was a personal choice.

WOW! This LG refrigerator is great. First, it's big. But, interestingly enough, not much bigger (2 inches wider) than a standard top-freezer fridge. The stainless is consistent and has depth to it. The handles are made of a complimentary metallic finish that doesn't accent fingerprints like chromed handles do. The refrigerator portion has ample space for food in varying size and shaped containers. The "instaview" area ("door within the door") features adjustable shelves to accommodate larger items (think milk cartons) and, there is smaller shelving on the left door due to the in-door ice maker. The produce/col cut drawer at the bottom slides easily, doesn't get hung up and is ample enough to fir most anything you might put in there. The freezer is large. It features a main compartment, an upper sliding and a top sliding shelf that also hold the ice bin. Once in this upper area, you will find the "craft ice". This is ice made into nice sized spheres. This bin is also for placing your upper door ice into if you want the in-door ice maker to produce more ice (like stocking up for a party). The craft ice is, quite honestly, pretty cool. Everyone comments on it and it's especially well received by kids and cocktail drinkers, alike. The manual is well written and includes good illustrations. Included is a wrench to remove the doors (and hinges) which you will almost certainly need to do to get it into your house, unless you have a double door access. The water hook up is located on the lower, right, back, near the floor. Remove the small plastic plug to expose the connection. The cord, interestingly enough, is located on the TOP of the refrigerator and is taped in place so don't think there isn't one included when you search the back and sides for it. One note of caution: when you remove the doors and have to disconnect the electrical connection, there is a TINY clip that you have to remove to unhook the coupling. DO NOT LOSE THIS. I suspect that without it, the connection may become disconnected easily with constant opening and closing of the doors. And, the coolest thing? Wanna see what's in your fridge- knock (lightly) twice on the right door and the LEDs will light up allowing you to see inside without having to open the door! All in all; an excellent refrigerator!

This is probably the best fridge I have every owned. it has so many great features that it is hard to cover them all. It is a Door-in-Door refrigerator with adjustable door bins to fit more items in them. You can knock or tap twice on the see though the insta view door to see what is easily accessible in the front door when the LED lights inside comes on. The ice and water dispenser is tall so almost any glass or pitchers work in it. It has two ice makers, one for regular ice and another for 2" round craft ice. For some reason that we haven't figured out, the craft ice maker seems to only make ice after you open and close the french freezer door. Then you hear it fill up and a few hours later a few pieces of craft ice have been made. This fridge is huge with its 30 cu. ft. capacity. The 3-Tier Freezer system provides plenty of storage for all our frozen food. You can control some of the features of the fridge using the SmartThinQ app with your Android or iOS device. That app can also tell you if the door is open and also the frige beeps after the door has been open too long.

Quite an upgrade, in my world. This refrigerator is plenty big for any size family. It's not only attractive, but easy to clean. Most everything inside can be removed for easy cleaning or adjusting for space needs. It's very quit. The freezer section is HUGE for a bottom freezer unit. The interior lighting is excellent. With a lamp mounted on the right and left interior sides, it's very easy to see what you are looking for. Most refrigerators mount a lamp on top or in the back where the lighting is obscured by contents. Loaded with any feature you can think of, this refrigerator will spoil you with it's easy controls. My unit is hooked up to an home osmosis system, so I can't give a fair assessment of the taste of the water coming out of the dispenser. The instruction booklet is very easy to read and understand and LG offers all kinds of support for your questions. There are a couple of nuances, but no deal breakers. First, the crushed ice dispenser can be a little messy on the dispensing part. Second, the shelves on the left door need to be wider than 3-1/2 inches. Bottles such as mustard, salad dressing, ketchup won't fit. Last, the front of the refrigerator won't hold magnets, so items I like to stick to the refrigerator, have to be put on the side of the unit. Overall I am extremely happy with this refrigerator.

We Love our New LG Electronics 3-Door French Door Refrigerator. It will give your kitchen a new spacious feel with clean counter lines. On the front exterior, LG has given this counter depth refrigerator finger print proof stainless steel doors and handles. It's through the door water/ice maker is an added convenience, and is where the temperature is set. This refrigerator is quiet too. Only hear it make ice once and a while. Inside LG gave thought to maximize storage space with adjustable shelves, and fruit and vegetable drawers with adjustable moisture level. There is also one large drawer for meat and cheese storage. In the left door there is an ice maker for thru the door ice, crushed ice, and water. The water filter is located behind a door shelf, and is super easy to install and replace. Below is the freezer. Inside you'll find three levels of storage. The bottom holds the largest freezer items. Then there is a medium sized rolling drawer, then the top drawer holds the second ice maker tray, with additional freezer storage.

This is a cavernous 30 cubic foot fridge with some great touches. How about Wi-Fi? Yes, this fridge can connect to home networks to enable registration of the product, troubleshoot technical issues with LG support staff, and, importantly, work with local energy providers through Smart Grid functionality. Unfortunately, I could not get the fridge to connect to my home network. There are several Wi-Fi restrictions that must be met (I thought I had) to enable connectivity but no luck today. I will try again another day. The Instaview function is great; by knocking on the glass the interior lights up so it is easy to see the fridge contents – see video. The Door-in-Door design provides great flexibility and the contents of the outer door can be accessed from outside or inside the fridge. Each zone in the fridge has its speciality to cater for all the families food needs. The door mounted ice maker is very slim compared to what I am used to and as well as the usual cubed and crushed ice this fridge can make round ice balls using a special LG method. All of the doors and drawers glide easily over the mounts and I fully expect that smoothness to carry through even when they are all full of food. The freezer, like the fridge, is huge and the main compartment has a built in divider that moves easily into position. Two additional shelves provide flexible freezer storage. LED lighting throughout provides good illumination. Outside the unit has a great looking brushed steel finish and employs LG’s PrintProof technology to keep the finish smudge resistant and easy to clean with a soft cloth.

The delivery of my LG French door refrigerator was a seamless operation. The two delivery men from Home Depot were timely, courteous and highly professional. This is a spacious, gorgeous and very high quality refrigerator. The door in door feature is a wonderful convenience. The glass panel illuminates with two quick knocks allowing you to see inside the compartment without opening the door thereby reducing cold air loss. It has dual ice makers so you will never run out of ice. It is fingerproof and smudge resistant. In order to clean just wipe with a soft dry cloth. It is also Energy Star qualified(uses 730 kWh/year) and has a one year parts and labor, five year sealed system and compressor parts and labor, and a six to ten year linear compressor parts only warranty. It is smart home enabled. This is an outstanding product.

WOW ! This is an amazing refrigerator. The black stainless steel finish looks gorgeous in our kitchen. It has as much interior volume as our old GE, but doesn't stick out into the room (this LG is counter depth). It is quiet - you can barely hear it operating. This LG has TWO ice makers - the one on the door makes the usual crushed or cubed ice. There is a second ice maker in the lower freezer which makes "craft" ice - which are ice balls a bit larger than golf balls. Perfect for drinks or impressing guests. If you tap the front window twice, the interior lights come on so you can see the contents of the storage-within-door compartment. Pretty handy! The front panel display tells you the set temperatures of both compartments. The bins and storage spaces are easy to adjust, although there isn't a lot of room for tall items - of course you can adjust shelves to create more tall space, if you really need it. I downloaded the LG SmarThinQ app and sync'ed my phone to the refrigerator. You can change the set point temperatures from the phone, and increase amount of ice production. There is also a function where you can opt to let the electric company control the fridge during times of high demand. Other than that, I think the app is probably extremely useful when/if the fridge requires service. Overall, this is a great refrigerator. My wife loves it, and did I mention that it looks great in the kitchen? I have to give credit to the HD installers. They arrived on time and got the new fridge in without any dents or damage; just a quick, efficient installation. No leaks, no mess. A+

What is there not to love about this beautiful refrigerator. This LG 3 door french door refrigerator is awesome. We got the 24 cu. ft to replace our old 24 cu. ft refrigerator, and this LG is much more compact. The inside is very spacious and we were able to fit more things then our old refrigerator. I like the stainles steel color, the stainless steel is also finger print proof which is great when you have a lot of little hands touching the doors. The instaview door is awesome along with the easylift second bin for easy adjustment to your liking. You just knock and it lights up for easy view of the most imporatant items in your fridge. The door in door is convinient for quick access to milk and beverages you want to grab without opening the french doors. The inside of the fridge has plenty of compartments and a special cheese and butter compartment. The shelves are easy to adjust, I really like the adjustable shelf that folds inwards for storing taller items that otherwise would not fit. The LED lights make it so bright inside. The top door icemaker has been working great, and the cool bottom ice bin in the bottom freezer produces round spheres ice cubes, totally awesome! One round icecube is sufficient for an ice cold drink, and pretty cool looking to show off to our friends and family. The freezer with the smart door handle opens up easily and the freezer has plenty of room. I love having the freezer at the bottom vs the top of the fridge, super convienient. The look is very modern and elegant, it made our kitchen stand out and look better. Overall this is a great refrigeratior that hopefully lasts us for many years.

So far so good. even the delivery company was impressed with the look of it. It does give off a wow factor. 30 cu ft is quite big but our last one was only 20 cu ft. It fit perfectly into our fridge space, and it was easy to maneuver it(I actually told the guy to leave it in my family room and I installed it myself within 25 minutes). My only concern was when I moved it to the right so it could line up with the opening, I heard the compressor go "ta ta ta ta ta" for about two seconds. I hope I never hear it again. The compressor is under warranty for 10 years, but between years 5 and 10, you have to pay for the labor (about $400) to change out the compressor. The first 5 years, it should be material and labor covered but I hope I never have to use it. My last whirlpool fridge is over 22 years old and had no issues and I have never spent a dollar to repair it. I do like how the middle shelves can be taken out, raised or lower. One of those shelves slides in half so you can store your taller bottles such as hydroflasks, milk, etc. I kept that one and removed the other one. You can also swap sides as well. I do like how you can premeasure your water and it'll fill and automatically stop. One of the coolest features is tapping on the glass twice and the door lights up without opening it. Another cool feature is the secondary ice maker that makes the "whiskey" ice balls. It only makes about 3 a day, so it'll take forever if you have a party. You can always remove that ice tray, turn off the ice ball feature and you'll have more freezer storage. The design looks amazing, I just have a small hesitation that the compressor won't last as long as it should. I really hope LG fixes this issue so fridges last 15-20 years like they used to, and not 3-6 years.

If you liked polished stainless steel and shows every finger print. You going to really like the black stainless steel finish that is print proof finish. There are features galore on this refrigerator. The three door design has a glass panel on right hand door. You tap three times and it lights up the interior of the door to see contents and it also opens partial and not open the entire door releasing your cold air. The lower door is the freezer compartment and you lift up on handle to unlock and open into the massive storage area with three levels of trays. The ice maker is inside the left hand door and has lots of cube storage and even drops into the freezer tray below it for those big ice needs. All the controls are located above the indoor dispenser for cubes, water, crushed. This refrigerator is so quiet running it is hard to tell if on. Of course, it comes with basic parts and labor warranty for only one year and some other warranty stuff for compressor. This is a wi-fi smart refrig too if your into that.

This fridge is great looking. I like the way the doors can be removed with little more than a screwdriver to take the hinge covers off. A lever disconnects the hinge, then the door lifts off. There are a few electrical connections that easily unplug, and of course the water line. After installation, and plugging it in, I wasn't sure if it actually came on. It is very quiet. A temperature test showed that the back of the refrigerator maintained a constant 37 degrees, while the front was typically warmer at around 42 degrees. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to wifi. The instructions mention unplugging the fridge for one minute to reset the connection. I finally tried that and it worked fine afterwards. Overall, so far, so good!

I would recommend higher with a few changes. The shelves are too close together and do not permit taller water bottles to stand up. No room for a wine bottle. Not enough medium size shelves in the door. The shelves in the left door are too small to put anything but very small containers in and not many. The refrigerator is beautiful and a great addition to my kitchen. Only one shelf slides back half way to allow two tall containers to sit there. The room could be better used if there was only one bin and the rest of the space used for taller items on the left side. Big refrigerator but small spaces. The ice container doesn't hold much ice only about one half the normal ice makers but nice that there are two ice makers.

The LG French Door Refrigerator is very easy to install and setup. The directions were exact and to the point as I had no problem leveling it. The water hookup was simple and after I flushed the system, the door ice maker immediately started making ice. The freezer ice maker took over 48 hours to start (exactly what the manual described) and now is making spherical ice which my children really love. By far, my favorite feature is the door through which you can reach the condiments without opening the fridge doors. I highly recommend this product as the price and quality are unmatched. The only problem is, there too many features to comment on.

Counter depth can be an overlooked but important feature. In our case, it fits our kitchen layout perfectly. The kitchen door would open into a deeper refrigerator. Plus counter depth is nice for shorter people trying to reach the back of the top shelf. The designers did a great job of maximizing the use of the smaller 24 cubic ft space that you get with a counter depth unit. There are plenty of adjustable shelves, two crisper drawers, and a slide out drawer below the crispers. They even found space for two ice makers. A traditional cube/water dispenser is located in the left door and a fun "Craft Ice maker" is located in the freezer that makes spherical ice balls. The pre measured water dispenser options are a nice touch. The black stainless looks sharp. And if you're replacing an existing black stainless refrigerator, the LG black stainless is very close to other brands. This wasn't the case when black stainless was first introduced, but it appears the manufacturers have standardized now, or at least close enough to a standard that you won't notice the difference when your other appliances are across the kitchen from your fridge. The surface is fingerprint resistant. It still requires cleaning, but it's doesn't immediately show finger prints. Cleaning is easy. You can use standard glass cleaner if you spray it onto the cloth and wipe in the direction of the grain. LG recommends a soft microfiber cloth. The see through glass door is handy if you want to check on the more frequently used items stored in the door compartments. And the easy access to those items through the door is a convenience plus it saves energy by reducing the amount of cold air that can escape when getting out drinks and such. The refrigerator is WiFi enabled and sends alerts to your phone and gives you a few settings that can be accessed from your phone. All-in-all, the app doesn't add much capability to the refrigerator, but it works as a hub for other LG smart appliances.

This is a wonderful fridge. No doubt about it, this is a fantastic appliance, and my wife LOVES it. I love the craft ice—see attached photo of the craft ice and the regular ice. The regular ice maker works fast. Both sizes of ice are really, really cold and hard, so the ice doesn’t melt quickly; it’s awesome. Great interior lighting, shelves on both doors and inside drawers and bins and adjustability…even the freezer has three drawers in addition to the craft ice maker. Huge for a counter depth fridge, we have so much space, and it’s nice getting the full width of the fridge to use. Plenty of room in the freezer for steak and chicken and ice cream and a favorite bottle. The app? Saves us money. No joke, we tell it when our peak time is, so it won’t do its heavy cooling and defrosting and stuff when power is triple the price for us. Set the times in the app (ours was preset already, so I didn’t fool with it) or the power company itself can get in on the action. I didn’t think I needed a smart fridge, but the power savings make this a no-charge upgrade, and it’s better for the environment AND I get craft ice. Seriously, I love this. Oh, and because of the app, I know the fridge doors have opened 9 times today, I have used 1.504 kWh, it knows to knock off the power use from 3-7 pm, both filters are in good shape, my fridge is at 37 degrees F and my freezer is at 0 degrees F. I know my fridge like the back of my hand now… Finally, that tap to see inside feature paired with the wee door on the front? Awesome. My four kids are all entertained by turning the light on and off, and we put their drinks and left overs and a gallon of milk right there so they can open the little door instead of the whole fridge and grab what they want. There is even a tiny bin at the bottom for cheese sticks. This is the perfect family fridge. The fridge looks really nice—high-end, with a great finish. Easy to wipe down, etc. One downside, however, is that this fridge actually does hold magnets. I read that magnets would not stick to it, but my kids have proven otherwise. That is the only downside to this incredible fridge, and my entire family would argue with me on that point. Oh, and if you’re noticing the foxy craft ice isn’t totally clear and round, give it another few days. The next batch or two will see totally clear, totally round balls. It just takes a week or two for the craft ice maker to get really good and cold and slow-freezing, which is the key to craft ice. I’ll just take my drink with some awesome craft ice and nurse my wounds. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by for a drink from the LG LRFVC2406S.

I love this refrigerator. The pictures do not do it justice. It has a lighted door so you can see in it without opening the door. The door chimes if you leave it open to long. It has plenty of shelving, one shelf moves back to store tall items. The side door can also store tall items. I love the ice maker it makes crushed and cubed ice and you can also fill your cup with water. I have tall cups for my water and it fits right in there. This is the first refrigerator I had that the freezer is on the bottom, I wasn't sure how I would like it. I actually love it, it has 2 drawers that pull out and it is deep. I love that the stainless steel doesn't get fingerprints all over it, which keeps it looking nice.It also can hook up to the wifi to inform you of filter replacements and any other items you need to know. It is very quiet and does not require a lot of electric to run.

This refrigerator is designed to stand flush with my countertops and is equipped with dual icemakers for unlimited ice. The icemakers are located in the freezer drawer and on the refrigerator door along with the water dispenser. It has the Smart Cooling System designed to maintain humidity and temperature levels to help keep my food fresher and two times longer. It has multiple shelves and bins that you can adjust to accommodate tall pitchers and or large dishes. It has a three tier freezer system to make it easier to organize my frozen foods. It looks great and is just the right size for my needs.

The LG InstaView 30 cu ft Refrigerator Model # LRFVS3006D is a big beautiful refrigerator wrapped in black stainless steel. In my review I will comment on it in sections. I will start overall. The design is gorgeous and functional. Capable of cooling large amounts of food and giving easy access to it. It makes lots of ice. The Door in Door design allows quick access to cold beverages The ice/water door dispenser gives you options and quick access while keeping the box closed. The water filter is pharmaceutical grade and produces the cleanest freshest tasting water/ice I have ever tasted. It actually removes toxins, there is a list of the stuff it is capable of removing available. This is not your mother's icebox. The inverter linear compressor and the dual evaporators and the way they route the cold air makes this an excellent icebox. If you need a quite Sabbath this has the option to delay the smart features. The stainless is smooth and easy to wipe clean. The french doors open to a huge interior and is illuminated by three strong and long LED lights. One on top and one along each side. The shelves are thin and trimmed in stainless. One shelve is made to fold in half and fold under itself for really tall bottles. It's a massive amount of area. The CoolGuard stainless steel interior panel wall helps retain the cold and adds to the awesome look. The left hand door holds the ice maker inside so it takes up no floor space and below you have easy access to that wonderful water filter. The right hand door has the Door in Door feature with adjustable shelves that move easily up or down. Grabbing a drink out of it is quick and easy and helps preserve the internal refrigerator temps. There is a dark glass pane that covers the outside door so you can see what is on display. Two quick knocks will light the door interior to highlight what choices you have before ever opening the door, helping you save energy and making it fun, The crispers in the refrigerator are thin walled and very deep very capable of holding a large amount of food. Setup to store vegetables with less humidity and fruits with more humidity with a sliding scale selector. Below those is a drawer the width of the refrigerator.Glide N Serve for storing long/large platters of foods or racks of meat marinating. Those were hard things to do before having dedicated space. That drawer has 3 independent cold settings; Produce (cold), Deli (colder), Meat (coldest) There is a ton of room and it is easy to see and easy to rotate your food stores. I checked the temps with a thermometer in the door and in different section and the temperature was spot on and it could bring the temps down quickly after packing it full. The bottom freezer is huge with a moveable divider in it. It has a top sliding shelf that I like to store loaves of bread in, on the left side is the ice bin for the Craft Ice maker. And below that is a thin shelve that I like to store small items like burritos. Smart part. This refrigerator has a control panel on the ice maker door that has settings for cubed or crushed ice and water dispensing and even dispensing set amounts like 4, 8, 16 or 32 ounce and can accept a tall pitcher up to 12.6 inches tall. It has a turbo ice setting to increase your ice production. The cube shape is the best type when drinking something like iced tea or coke, the ice does not get in the way. The craft ice melts slower and is really neat looking in your favorite drink. It is a pleasure to use. I have had this type LG for some time and the ice maker and filter, I have a history with, and have never been more satisfied. This is a smart refrigerator and is online. You install a program on your android or apple phone and it will send you alerts for notifications and allow you to make adjustments in the temperature. It even has a smart support function to LG techs and it works. My ice maker would not make its first ice and I had just gotten it and they told me to wait. I knew it needed to cool down and I knew it needed water in the tray and there was no water in the tray. So I did all the common sense things and got nowhere. I noticed mention of the tech support on the app and used it and the refrigerator told the app what was wrong and put a phone number on my screen and I called it. The tech told me I needed to hit a rest button on the bottom of the icemaker and instantly I heard water being pumped in and in no time had ice. What a great feature. I have a lot to learn there because there are more features and options. I really love this refrigerator it's perfect and very high quality.

Super nice fridge. It’s huge inside and has external dimensions that are smaller than other smaller boxes. The three door/drawers are easy to use and the freezer is nice capacity with the drawer in drawer, with another wide slide drawer. This one has designer ice cubes and a standard cube and ice beverage in the left door setup. The right door has a “peek a boo” look at the contents of the door with easy access to the door contents. The double door opening lets you open the center drawer. It has easy to change air and water filters that should reduce bad taste smell of ice and water. The glass shelves contain most spills. The box is not too deep and fits counter like depth. Door ice maker is behind useable shelves in left door. Claims fingerprint resistant and looks great. Doors close in the center and open to about 140 degrees. The water filter is easy to change. The freezer drawer is large with a divider. Two sliding drawers help segregate foods. There is also a lower ice maker that creates large ICE spheres. WIFI needs an easy setup. Untrained users will need help. Can be set up to notify of problems.
