The good thing is this is big and roomy, bigger than other machines in its class, It is also a bit taller than most so in my case found I now need to have my cabinet raised, not a fault of the machine though. As with other reviews I read, the shelves are not split nor very adjustable so the only place for tall bottles and jugs is a small space on the door. The bad part is the freezer, it does not get cold enough. I finally set it as cold as it will go and it takes forever to freeze ice. I don't have the ice maker hooked up so I rely on old fashioned ice cube trays. After half a day, the ice cubes are not yet fully frozen. Very disappointed,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a french-door, counter-depth refrig. without front water dispenser to replace a defunct side/by/side. We like this LG's beauty, very quiet operation (esp. compared to our 18 yr. old frig.), even temp. control, and lighting. However, we find that there is limited tall item storage and the veg. drawers are way too shallow for more than a small head of lettuce, bags of fruit, celery,etc. Clearly DEEPER veg/fruit bins on ONE side and two shallower meat/cheese drawers on the other would be a better layout--then you wouldn't have to open BOTH doors to get at a bin of either type, and lose less cold air in the process. Perhaps the French door design, which is good for WIDE items (foods in oblong baking dishes), influenced the current layout. However, milk in half/gals., in our opinion, should NOT be on doors where temps. vary much more due to frequent opening&less cooling thus promoting spoilage. (The designers intend these milk cartons to go on doors, which means shorter shelf-life.) The only solution is to push in the 'half-shelf' and stand them on the shelf below, which blocks the space behind the cartons, or lie them on their sides. We are familiar with a big chest freezer, so we are ok with the bottom freezer, though it requires more thoughtful planning on WHERE you put things (be mindful of your organization in the freezer section). We are learning how to better use the refrig. space.

I think the refrigerator is vrey spacious,however, the freezer could be a little bigger. One thing I do not like is that both freezer sections pull out when the freezer is opened.

Always wanted a One -door Refrigerator with the Freezer in the bottom that pulls out (in my small kitchen.) Getting foods out of both sections is so much easier for me than it was with my Old one-door , with the small top- freezer .

Bought this fridge 10 months ago and there are more things that I don't like about , than options I like. Yes, it does the job on keeping food cold/frozen. I like the pull out freezer drawer. DO NOT LIKE that you cannot move the shelves in the door to adjust for tall items. The finish is terrible-finger prints everyday! The door does not automatically close when you give it a push. You have to physically make sure you push the door solidly closed. Have just given the door a light push thinking it is closed and the door alarm goes off constantly if I'm not careful. Since one does not buy fridges except when you really need one, I'm afraid I'm stuck with this one. But hey, things don't last like they used to so maybe the new purchase will be sooner than I think. Last fridge lasted only six years(not an LG).

Lots of room, energy efficient and most of all the style of this refrigerator is everything I could have dreamed of. The lower freezer is well organized and easy to get into. All I can say is I am so happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought this refrigerator a month ago and just received it three days ago due to shipping from the mainland. I just love how quickly it got cold and how quiet it is compared to my old refrigerator. It has tons of space for my needs when the family comes and visit. It The only negative things I found: 1) It doesn't come with the ice maker hose kit. 2) The adjustments of the shelves on the refrigerator door should have a few more options. It was hard to fit a large filtered water pitcher on it. 3) The ice maker was loud when the ice dropped into the ice tray and when the water filled the ice maker.

You shouldn't buy this if you live in an open-plan condo\apartment. It's too loud. They've marketed this as a "quiet" refrigerator, but that is mostly a marketing claim (as others have pointed out as well). The compressor also operates at a higher pitch than older models, which some may find annoying. With open-concept floor plans being more popular than ever, I think there is a market for truly quiet(er) refrigerators. However, LG has done themselves a disservice by advertising this as "quiet" when there is no discernible difference in sound levels between this and older models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a hard time finding a 30" wide refrigerator that didn't have french doors! We came upon this LG fridge at Lowe's and were thrilled to get just we wanted. We have been amazed at how much more this fridge holds than our old 30" refrigerator. The Glide N' Serve drawer is a nice change from the usual meat and cheese drawer. The door easily holds gallons of milk and other large containers. We don't miss having adjustable shelves, like we thought we would. These shelves were spaced perfectly to hold all sizes of jars, bottles and other containers. Also love the LED lights and location of temperatures adjustments - there is no lost space on top shelf because of light fixture hanging down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge last but had to wait for it to come in so we've only had it about 2 weeks now. Love the fridge, only downfall is there is no water dispenser and for the price I believe it should have one. You have to do some adjusting with the shelves to make room for everything...milk is a tight squeeze but it fits.
