I purchased this refrigerator in February of 2019, and it stopped cooling on Labor Day 2022. We had wisely purchased an extended warranty from the store, and a technician was able to come right away. He said that the compressor had failed. In reading reviews, I now know that LG compressors are not reliable. We lost a refrigerator and freezer full of food, and although we'll be reimbursed $200 per the warranty, it doesn't come close to reimbursing what we lost, especially during these days when inflation is such a problem. We loved the refrigerator, and its large capacity is a plus. However, going forward, we will be vigilant in checking to make sure that it's cooling, because we know that one day, this compressor will fail as well. Will not buy LG in the future.

I had to buy this fridge after my previous LG Fridge failed. The compressor suddenly stopped working and the cost to replace it almost matched the cost to buy a new one. I am sad I had to replace it with an LG. It was the only one that fit in the space I have. I hope to have this fridge a long time. If not I would rather renovate my kitchen than buy another LG product. The wide drawer at the bottom of the fridge makes no sense. I am constantly needing both doors open to access item which I think is pointless. Everything is bulky and there is not a good configuration to fit taller items in the fridge without removing one of the shelves. I also find the pockets at the very bottom of the doors SUUUUUUUUUUUUPER pointless. I know you all can do better than that. Like I said, this purchase was a lack of options and you are very lucky you got my business.

I love the refrigerator. The only slight problem is that the right door sometimes won't shut completely.

I bought my LG 22 cu ft refrigerator in 2018 and I am doing this review in 2022. It has worked very well for my family over this period and is still like new. Only issue I had (and reason for not giving it a 5 star) is that the compressor packed up this year.. but the good news is that it was still under warranty and LG sent a technician who provided and changed the part without any cost to me and this was done on a timely basis. My refrigerator now has a new lease of life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge came with our condo. But when the ice maker stopped, I called the 800 number. I gave the rep my model and serial number. She fixed it electronically!! It took less than5 minutes!

I live in a small condo that has a very small footprint for a refrigerator so my choices were limited. I also needed the freezer to be on the bottom since I couldn't open a side by side all the way due to the doorframe being adjacent to the freezer door. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love this refrigerator. I bought it just from an online picture and the dimensions fitting my needs. Everything fits just perfect, I'm able to open all doors fully, and its very attractive looking. Nothing over the top just nice clean lines. Very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased in 2018 and it has worked fine. Not too loud. No issue until July 2022. Called LG and they arranged the repair through their network. A new compressor was installed and it’s working again. Second LG item I have needed to have repaired in four years. LG warranty covered it each time. Repairs each time we’re done quickly. I appreciate warranty on these items.

Much the same as our prior LG refrigerator that stopped working after 10 years or so, but with improved interior layout. Unfortunately the only color available is stainless steel. We would prefer white to go with the rest of our kitchen.

I purchased the new refrigerator, was about 1 week old, and making VERY loud noise. 3 weeks before anyone can look at it!! 1 week and issues??!! 3more weeks to get someone here to look at it??? REALLY????? NOT HAPPY!!!

I only complaint is that the doors are very persnickety. So, be mindful when closing they seem closed and then are not & dont make the beeping alert unless drastically open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this refrigerator. The last one I had kept freezing over and it had to be defrosted. I was told LG makes great quality appliances and is true, this is great. I've had it for 2 years and it's awesome. No problems at all it works great and it looks great. I like that it has a door alarm so i know if the kids accidentally leave it open. Super easy to clean and easy to remove shelves inside when cleaning.

It is the perfect size and the visibility of everything at eye level allows you to see what is in your refrigerator.

Although it is just my husband and me there seems to be plenty of room in this fridge. The shelves are easily adjustable so you can customize for your specific needs. Our apartment won't allow us to run a water line so we aren't able to use the ice machine which is disappointing.

Most people are in the refrigerator more than the freezer. I also love the side by side doors as I have a small kitchen. Another great feature is that I can see everything in the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past theee weeks I’ve been in heaven with my new LG 3 door French refrigerator!; it’s everything I’ve dreamed about for years - the easy access to get my food without bending over plus all the shelving on the doors and to top it off - adjustable shelves! AND huge bottom freezer for storing food. I could not ask for anything more - I’m simply in heaven and wish I would have purchased it years ago!

I'm very happy with my purchase. Refrigerator is quiet. I use to hear my old one running, this one is far superior.
