It works great and is easy to use. I had been using it for over 2 years and I couldn't even imagine a use for wifi on a dryer. Then I moved into a house with the washer/dryer hookups out in the garage. I couldn't hear the chimes from inside the house when a cycle finished. Now the app on my phone alerts me when my clothes are ready. Brilliant!

It worked until it didn’t….3 years 1 month after it was purchased new. 2 stars because it worked well until it stopped, but 3 years is a very short life for a dryer.

Purchased washer/dryer and paid for installation. Original delivery date was delayed by a week. Dryer arrived damaged and was not installed. Replacement unit took weeks. The installer absconded with the washer's shipping bolts. I’m moving next month and now have to spend $35 on replacement shipping bolts. Great LG machines. Not great HD service.

Not so great dryer…disappointed with issues!!
Was purchased about 2 1/2 years ago. The dryer keeps stopping in mid cycle multiple times since about 5 months. I am surprised that a LG appliance is performing bad.

Love my "intelligent" LG Dryer!

After 3 years, I've used each feature and find the machine to be reliable and impressed with customizing my dryer to my needs when I need to go outside the box of traditional options. Might be my imagination but after 50 years of dryer ownership, I feel it's pretty much on the quieter side. I've downsized and moved to a 1600 sq.ft. condo where the laundry room is just off the kitchen and family room (think TV). I never close the utility/laundry room door as it doesn't interfere with TV volume or conversation. No, I don't have hearing loss. :>)

Simple to use, copious, and quiet in operation. Today, with my house-cleaners at work, I dried bed sheets and pillow cases on a "speed" setting that took a mere 25 minutes. My shirts emerge unwrinkled. This dryer will be in service for decades here.

Best Ever Dryer

Great Dryer!

Disappointed
I have diligently followed the instruction manual, cleaned the lint trap and kept the sensor bars free of debris. I have to spend exorbitant time picking dry clothes out of the loads and re-running it three times. It does not dry evenly and has made my electric bill sky- rocket.

Works good and is simple to operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this almost .two years ago. Dryer is simple to operate. I feel the dryer doesn’t remove enough lint from the the clothes. The lint door is too short to collect all the lint. The dryer began to have problems and make a loud banging noise so we had to have a service call. The LG tech is replacing the belt, tensioner, and drum. All this for a dryer less than 24 months old. I expected better.

Worst dryer I've ever owned
I hate this dryer and if it's weren't a stackable unit set, it would be on the curb. Won't dry anything - owned and used it for six months in second home; warranty over because we are gone 3/4 of year. Junk! Wash day looks ridiculous at our house with clothes draped all over the house trying to dry. NEVER dries the full time. Shuts off with all wet clothes after a few minutes; start it again and again - same thing

DLEX3700W Dryer: One that exceeds expectations!

I knew exactly what features I wanted, compared other products similar to this one, and ultimately found that THIS LG DLEX3700W Dryer, was going to work best for my needs. (In other words, it'd work for regular use, for various situations, and it would last for a good length of time.) It also seemed that the measurements of this specific dryer would fit in my current location, and if my location ever changed, it wasn't so over-sized, that it wouldn't easily fit into a new location.
I bought this dryer awhile ago, and it has worked great in EVERY scenario that I have needed it for. It has many different options to use, without being overwhelming, and there's a few that I still need to try! Yet through each and every one of the cycles/options that I have used, many times, it's successfully succeeded my expectations!!
The plans for this dryer were well thought out, and therefore well built. I don't foresee it breaking down anytime soon. However if/whenever it does, THIS is my next dryer... hopefully they don't stop making this one!

Look for other dryers first

This issue is typically caused by 3 separate issues.
1. Dryer is overloaded - Try dividing extra large loads into smaller loads for better drying performance and efficiency.
2. Dyer is underloaded - If you are drying a very small load, add a few extra items to ensure proper tumbling action. The sensor cannot properly sense the load and may shut off too soon. We recommend using a timed dry or add some extra wet clothes to the load.
3. Energy Saver is on - If using the Cotton/Normal cycle, deselect the Energy Saver option. This option reduces energy use by adding an air dry section to the beginning of the cycle.
Lastly, it may be necessary to do a deep cleaning of the lint filter cavity and exhaust vent to remove any obstruction preventing air circulation.
Following these tips will improve and fix the damp spot issue that you are experiencing.
To connect to the ThinQ app, usually if there is an issue with setting up a WIFI connection it is due to a couple of steps. First it is important to understand that your appliance supports a 2.4 GHz and not a 5GHz frequency. Next step is to disable the firewall on your wireless router or add an exception to it. The wireless network name (SSID) should be a combination of letters and numbers, do not use special characters. We also recommend that the security protocol of the router is changed to WPA2. Using your phone, check the strength of the wireless router while standing next to your fridge. If the distance between the appliance and the wireless router is too far, the signal becomes weak you may need to move the router closer or upgrade your router. When connecting to WIFI using the ThinQ app it is necessary that the fridge and your phone is on the same WIFI frequency of 2.4GHz. Does not fully dry

One Problem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part a good dryer. But the lint screen frame continuously snags clothes and completely ruins them. I have lost 6 good (expensive) shirts (and a few I don't care about) to this dryer in one year of operation. The lint screen doesn't seat well and the edge grabs the clothes and the end up completely twisted around it. Given what it cost me in shirts, the value was not there for this machine.

Not Bad
