Dryer screen rusts prematurely. Some decent drying options.

I love this dryer. The turbo steamer is to die for. Toss in a shirt with wrinkles and poof wrinkle free. Wish I owned sooner.

After the initial 2 weeks post delivery of my new LG washer and dryer, I am happy to say that I made a superior purchase decision. I recommend this LG washer and dryer set. The details below. The Pros: - Many choices for cycles, amount of dryness, temp, etc. - Capacity is large. - Runs whisper quiet. - Clothes came out soft, fluffy, and properly dried. - The load complete notification chime sounds like an ice cream truck. Silly? Yes, but I love hearing it! Haha. The Cons: - So many choices; maybe too many choices! And if you want to deviate from the preset defaults, you can, but it's lots of tapping each individual setting on the LED screen. Time consuming! I wish there was a memory function where I could program my "normal" settings and then recall it with 1-button press. - The LED screen is very small font and not overly lit. If you're older or sight impaired, be advised. I need my reading glasses and a flashlight to choose my combinations of the many options. Someday, I'll have it memorized, hopefully. - The units are big... measure your space accurately for fit (I did so all good). Be aware that if you're shorter (I'm 5'1"), reaching over the units is a stretch! All of that said, I give these units a thumbs up and would buy them again. The only outstanding question is maintenance and durability. LG has a good track record so I hope my units perform well for years to come. -

The instructions manual is a little vague with some of the features. But over all I couldn’t recommend anything better for the price. Thanks LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a week ago and so far so good! Would love to have it be able set a delay easily from the machine. If we can do this, it isn’t easily figured out. Love that we can stack it, as well.

I purchased this about one month ago. It has continued to perform well

We only dry clothes, bedding and towels in our dryer. Nothing hard or bulky like shoes, etc. During a normal dry cycle with medium load, the inner wall of the "real tempered glass" door broke off and mixed a bunch of tiny jagged sharp shards into our clothes. I stack my dryer on top of the washer with the LG stacking kit, and if I wasn't paying attention, I could have opened the door and dropped a heavy 14" diameter disc of razor sharp glass 4 ft right on top of my feet and shattered all over my home floor. It'd been 2 years since we purchased and LG originally said it's out of warranty, but this is not an acceptable level of safety to have for a product well within its expected operating lifespan. Searching online, there are many other reports of this happening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our LG dryer a month ago and are so happy with it. It drys close quickly, runs quietly and I love all the features it has, including the ability to steam clothes. It also has an app that tells me when the drying cycle is done.

There is a lot of pre-set settings, but we often just make our own settings. It's quiet, no vibration noise, load capacity very well suited for our family of three. There's many features we have yet to try (bells and whistles) like the Wi-Fi connection and steam setting. Definitely recommend.

Bought last month and very happy with all the features

We are loyal to LG washers & dryers!!! Our old set of washer & dryer lasted us for 13 years & we were so happy with them. We figure to replace them with another LG & we couldn’t be happier. We love all the features, very quiet, great value for the money & love the way they look.

Since I had to replace my washer, spouse insisted upon a matching set. This dryer has an amazing load capacity and same connectivity features as the washer. Performs flawlessly. Spouse particularly likes the glass door, Wi-Fi notification of status and, the ditty it plays at the end of cycles. Very impressed.

I bought the washer and matching dryer about a year ago, and I love them both. The problem is that one of them is destroying my towels, but I don't know witch. See attached photos. This occurs on both high quality and low quality towels. I have resorted to putting my towels in mesh bags before washing and drying, which seems to solve the problem. I could do some experimentation to determine which machine is the culprit, but I don't want to destroy more towels in the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon, or a piece of junk. This dryer has been nothing but a source of aggravation ever since I purchased it. We keep on getting this flashing “gas” error. The dryer stops 25 to 30 minutes into its cycle with gas error flashing. It does not generate any heat, everything is still wet. We had a plumber check the gas line, everything is fine—our gas stove and gas water heater have no issues. An LG tech replaced the dryer’s gas valve—same issue. My mom suffers from dementia, laundry is a necessity in our house. To get this repaired, I have to pay a plumber to disconnect the gas line from the dryer, pay someone to bring it down from its platform, once the maintenance is done, pay for the reverse process. At this point, as soon as I have the money, I’ll get a new dryer , and hope to have better luck. My last dryer lasted over 15 years before the motor gave out. Buyer beware!!

I had the Kenmore Elite LG made electric dryer before this, and man, what a difference! The last dryer always left my clothes with wet spots whenever I’d use the steam functions. This one the clothes with come out dry/slightly damp with no wet spots. Its very nice not having to mess with the controls/options after using the matching washer woth smart pairing turned on. The washer sends the info to the dryer after you turn it on, and you just press the start button. I even got an installation report by email letting me know the power and venting met the requirements. Cool stuff. Right now LG is also offering an extra year of warranty for a limited time (it lets you know in the app). However, they keep asking for more info, and i dont know what else I can send, as ive already provided the online receipt and a pic of the in store one

Washer dryer work great

Started to have electronic failure less than a year after buying.
