Unfortunately, the experience I had with Home Depot on the delivery of this LG dishwasher was utterly terrible and unacceptable, therefore I had to return it. I purchase the dishwasher right after Christmas and had it scheduled for delivery and install, which I paid extra for, the first week of January. Upon them coming out, which I found out at that time was a third party, JB Hunt, they looked underneath my existing dishwasher and informed me that they could not hook it up to a copper connection, which I was never informed prior could be an issue. They told me I would have to procure a plumber to come out and handle the install if I wanted to keep the dishwasher. If not, I would need to call Home Depot, then and there, to return it. As I got on the phone and had Home Depot on the line, the guy went ahead and took off. After he left, I noticed that he did not put my existing dishwasher back to how it was and had also damaged my cabinetry, chipping a large piece of wood off that I just had painted last year. I called Home Depot back to express my disappointment in a.) the fact that they never informed me that they could not hook up to a copper line (the agent looked all over his files and couldn’t find any supporting documentation either) and b.) the damaged cabinet. They opened a claim with JB Hunt to which I am still working to get resolved. Overall a terrible experience, I would expect more than this from a company like Home Depot.
