    Bought it 3 years ago. The oven gave us an F3 code had a service guy come out. He said it needed a new circuit board and that LG doesn't make them anymore nor do they make that part. Therefore we needed a new oven. We were very disappointed and won't buy LG appliances again !!!!

      Can’t use oven
      We bought the electric range from Electronic Express in June of 2019. We only used the oven function less than half as much as we used the stove the 3.5 years. To our surprise, the oven control knob fell off. We were more surprised by the material of the knob internal including the stem. It is a piece of plastic even though the knob itself is stainless steel. I also found more complaints of the same issue on the internet. The sudden yield of the knob internal material is likely due to either due to defect or inappropriate selection of the material. It should never happen to a 3.5 year old range-oven. The oven only came with a one year warranty which blows my mind. Now I’m struggling trying to find someone to fix my oven for a reasonable price. I wish I would’ve done an extensive research on this product and LG products. BTW, my lg refrigerator stop working too in 2022, luckily that was still under warranty. I’ve never made so many issue from one brand.

        Fire Hazard
        The knobs are SO sensitive, that barely bumping them will turn the burner on HIGH. First time caught a wood cutting board on fire. Thought it was a fluke. Second time, sat a Rubbermaid container down, only to smell burning plastic, and full flame again. Took all the knobs off just to be safe. Nope. Somehow even without knobs even, the burner caught a first aide kit on fire. This stove has to go now!!

          A Dream Range
          I love everything about this range! I've had it for nearly 2 years before I had my very 1st hiccup with the range. Exactly 2 days before my current warranty expired, and my very 1st time of using the self cleaning option, I had a problem with the doors not opening after the cycle was completed and had cooled down. It took the serviceman quite some hours to figure out that it was a fuse that was blown. The fan inside the oven had stopped turning due to grease build-up inside the oven. But now that that was replaced/exchanged and everything is working back to the way it was when I first bought it, I am again a very, very happy customer.

              4 Stars………BUT HERE IS A WARNING!
              Had this Appliance for a few years now. I love the look but, if you are going to purchase a range with burner knobs on the front PLEASE lock them when not in use. Yesterday, I somehow bumped the burner knob with a bag or something, because when I was about 35 minutes away from my house I received a fire alarm notice! Luckily my alarm company called it straight into the fire department. I had a decorative wooden noodle board on the stovetop. Bumping the knob without knowing it started a fire. Firemen said we were lucky. Be careful! Guests in the home have also bumped them and turned on the burners. Always lock them.

                  PLEASE BE AWARE
                  Purchased this range 6/20. By 11/20 we were already having issues with oven. A code F3 came up. Called LG they said to unplug the range to restart. It worked until April 2021. Now it is completely shorted out. No help from LG! Still no oven Sept 21

                          Great overall oven

The ceramic cooktop needs constant cleaning, but if you do it regularly it's still relatively easy to keep clean.

                                Looks great in my kitchen!
                                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t figure out why the convection bake wasn’t coming up to temp but finally figured out there is an auto adjust in the settings that changes the temp to match bake temp. Only other concern has been how easy it is to turn on the oven and top burners if you bump the front of the oven knobs (this is a problem!)

                                  DO NOT BUY- STARTED KITCHEN FIRE
                                  I moved into my first home and 5 days later came home from work to realize that I had a fire. The knobs are extremely sensitive. I don’t even recall turning the knob, the stem may have gotten bumped. Either way I am now living a nightmare with the cleanup and insurance and worrying about my dog who was home. Also, It wouldn’t let me post this without rating a star. It would be zero stars.

This is my first time having a slide-in and I find it very efficient and sleek. It’s user friendly and all knobs clearly identifies the burner. The oven cooks to perfection. No need for an air fryer with this oven. It offers convection, broil, roast and regular bake; plus has 3 rack with 7 positions. I’m loving it!

                                      LG Cooktop is more like LG Toaster
                                      Purchased late July 2020, worked fine until mid November. That's when the two front burners decided to go SkyNet and decide what heat setting they wanted to use versus my input. Can't walk away with anything sitting there on Low because it is sure to boil over like the burner is on high, which when you watch the heating element stay on continuously, what else would it be running at? Going from Off to 5, and nothing happens. Do a slight increase up to around 7 and then the heating element kicks in. Go from Off to Low, and the heating coil goes into thermonuclear mode, turning the cooktop into a toaster set to high and wanting to go out of its way to burn your food. Attached image is of deader than dead pork chops. We bought an entire suite of LG products. Starting with the crappy last mile delivery service providers Home Depot uses where I live, who botched the dishwasher and microwave installations, and did not level the washer and dryer (overall, the W/D large capacity units are awesome so far), the whole LG (combined with Home Depot's lack of concern/follow up to complaints about the installation services and the dishwasher not running) process has turned out to be somewhat pretty disappointing. LG has been out once to replace some module in the cooktop, and the tech bolted right after it was installed. A *simple* one minute test/observation would have shown that nothing was fixed.

                                        Great oven & cooktop with features galore.
                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this couple months ago. What won me over was the 3 racks on the oven along with the inside color. To me that makes it easier to see while baking. I so enjoy baking.

                                            3 days after the one-year warranty expired, the inner element of the double burner stopped heating. Shortly after that, the ultra burner stopped regulating temperature—turning it down to a simmer has no impact. I have to replace 3 switches and 1 burner for a total of $500!! It’s hard to find someone to repair LG appliances and when i finally found one, the repairman told me LG ranges are among the worst. I wish i wouldn’t have been so determined to have a beautiful kitchen filled with expensive matching LG appliances.

                                              I would give 6 stars if I could! This oven is amazing!
                                              I prefer smooth top stoves. This is first stove I have had that actually gets HOT! Water boils quickly and the oven is amazing. The blue coating makes for very easy cleaning and I love the convection feature! Easy to clean and looks AMAZING in my new kitchen!

                                                This stove is dangerous
                                                I purchased this stove in May 2020. Several times I have reached over it and bumped the knob with my body and the stove turns on. Today I reached to get some fish I had on a plate on the back eye and I must have bumped the knob with my body which had a plate of fish on it. The next thing I knew smoke was coming from the kitchen. I have a 4 YO grandson and I am terrified any time he walks through the kitchen. One time my dog tried to get a piece of meat off of the stove and turned the stove on. Also the stove does not cook on low....just high.

                                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned this stove now for a good 2 1/2 years. Wrote a review few months ago about burners randomly heating up way high and boiling over things. LG arranged for a repair through greenwire appliance service. The service guy came over and changed a new thermostat stating that as a problem. Now within few days the same issue again. This time front left burner (power burner) is misbehaving. I left my stove at 3 for 2 mins and moved away. Here's what happened. Again these issues happen randomly, some twice or thrice a week. I have struggled to feed my family and toddler in this kind of situation. Now the front right burner (12") doesn't heat up properly or maintain the heat. I have used all-clad copper and Le creuset, and even basic SS. Have been cooking now for 20+ years but this is the worst stove I have ever changed. Our family is pretty unhappy by this purchase.

Trying to cook something as simple as rice is impossible. The stovetop heats up all the way even when placed on the low setting.

                                                        I have owned this range for just under 3.5 years. If you are considering buying one yourself, I highly recommend paying attention only to reviews with long ownership periods, and ignoring all others. Gushing about the features after a week of use isn't useful. The features and aesthetics of this range are good, but those are worthless when an appliance is unreliable. Sadly, we have had three significant problems with this appliance. First, the left rear stovetop heating element failed mechanically when a fastener failed. This happened about a month before the 1-year warranty expired, and the warranty repairman said that the part had been incorrectly fastened at manufacture. Second, the thermal fuse blows every time we have tried to use the self-cleaning cycle. An appliance repairman said that self-cleaning works OK at lower altitudes, but not at higher altitudes. We live at over 5000 ft, and apparently the reduced density of the air degrades the thermal conductivity to the point where the internal temperature gets above the thermal fuse trip point. Sorry, LG, but that is inadequate design margin. This is not covered under warranty, so I replaced the thermal fuse myself. Third, one of the oven heating elements failed after a little over 3 years. The oven has two heating elements; a top-mounted broiler and a rear-mounted circular element that surrounds the convection fan. The latter failed, open circuit, destroyed by heat where the element contacts its mechanical mount (see photo). Long after warranty, but I was able to isolate the problem and replace the part myself. These failures were all of different types: assembly, design, and component reliability. That shows a systematic pattern of crumminess. Parts are sometimes hard to find, and almost always overpriced. Few appliance repairmen are willing to work on LG, at least in our area. Because of the poor reliability, poor parts and repair support, and high prices, I consider this an extremely poor product. I've been happy with LG cellphones, but I would not recommend an LG kitchen appliance to anyone. Not included in the failure list above is another design flaw. As other reviewers have reported, the initially-beautiful purple interior finish on the oven door becomes dark brown after just a few uses. Since this is not visible with the door closed, I don't consider it a big deal, but it shouldn't happen.

                                                          Slide in electric stove
                                                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My stove was delivered two weeks before Christmas and when I saw it in my kitchen I was loving the look. The oven is very large but the size amazes me when I cooked a 23 pound turkey in the oven on Christmas day. With the turkey in the oven I still had the space for two oven racks above the turkey. I was able to cook my side dishes in the oven with the Turkey, this was a first for me. I also can't say enough about the color of the inside of the oven. I love the blue color. Great job LG
