Run the filter for a couple of minutes. Afterwards, you have clean, clear water!

Great filter. It works like it suppose to.

I don't know if it's the filter, but once I installed it, water flow has been reduced to such a think stream that it's not even practical to get water out of my fridge. This wasn't a problem with my previous filter, which was a different model. (Both are compatible with my fridge.)

Why are they so expensive compared to other brands

The filter fit perfectly, and it was easy to install. I always purchase these water filters at Home Depot.

This is a recurring order for my refrigerator and I’m satisfied with the purchase.

The only criticism is the the product was on a peg too high for me to reach. I finally found something I could use to slide it off the peg. Not everyone is tall enough for those products on the upper pegs. Otherwise, no complaints.
