this fan moves some air industrial style the problem i have is that on the lowest speed there is a very high pitched sound it is not coming from the motor it's a harmonic sound and i believe it's from fan blade pitch and speed of rotation. when i made the purchase i bought 2 they are exactly the same with the high pitched sound

These fans are amazing! This is my 3rd one, not because of a problem, the 1st one I bought is still going strong & it’s out on my front porch & has been through several hurricanes. We got 2 more for my husband’s big workshop. Air output is awesome & much quieter than other fans. Can't believe how it's held up in the humidity here in FL.

The fan works but it is very noisy. I use it in a bedroom and normally have to get up and turn it off. If it weren't so much trouble I would pack it up and return it. If you don't mind the whinny noise than it works fine.

It's not quiet, but it's effective. I have used consumer-grade fans because my apartment gets stuffy, but they do not pack the punch that this one does. At all. So it helps me ventilate and bring air from outside in.

Perfect fan for the garage

I bought it to replace my old plastic box fan and while it moves a lot of air, it makes a weird high pitched whine that comes and goes that's just loud enough to be heard over the fan itself (which sounds like an airplane). It's sturdy and cools the house down well but I would only use it somewhere where the noise level wouldn't cause a disturbance.

Better than expected. Really moves air. Have been using to funnel air from a room with a window air conditioner to another room. It accomplishes this exceedingly well. Also quieter than expected. I am very pleased with this fan.

sollid fan, moves air well in my garage/workshop even during July in Texas.

I’m still getting used to the sound as it is different and slightly higher pitch than the solid one it replaced. I was hoping it would feel just a little bit more stable when being adjusted.

I purchased 4 of these fans to use in my horse barn. I am very happy with the amount of air they circulate. I will probably purchase a couple more. Highly recommend

Cheaply made, but it will work. Woah things were made with quality.

The fan is a bit louder than I had expected, but does the job.
