So when I try to go to sleep I have to cover my face because it gets so cold and then can't breathe or sleep. Anyway, I just bought this October 20, 2016, but was worried when it came because it was shorter than I expected. I have a high adjustable frame bed. I was worried the heat wouldn't reach my face or heat my room. However, I was very wrong. I had to move the heater further back because the heat was so strong coming out. It is awesome.
My room is warmer than the rest of the house. I set the temperature I want, and if you leave it on, it goes into a sleep mode when it gets to that temperature and turns back on if it goes below. I like how it has a timer, and oscillating functions as well. The base is made well, so the times I accidentally knock into it, it hasn't fallen over. The remote is better than I hoped too. It has a digital screen to show what modes you have pressed and the temperature you want. Like if I put on automatic heat, oscillating, if the timer is on.
I really am happy with this heater.
The only con I have, which is very minor, is that the remote control beeps when you push buttons on the remote - which is good- but it is very loud. I wish I could adjust the volume level of the beeps. I was setting my heater up for bed and the beeping noises slightly woke up my roommate. But like I said, that is not a big con and by no means a reason not to get it.
I didn't want to put 4 stars because it is better than that, but If I could give 4.9 stars I would, just because of the remote control volume.
Note the picture I took: The temperature on the heater is showing the current temperature, and the temperature on the remote control is the temperature I want it to be. The reason the actual temperature is higher than the desired temperature is because I had just turned it on, the house heat was on high - and someone forgot to turn it down, and it was during the day when it is warmer. Just in case you are confused by this picture.
