I think this pillow will be good over time, but at first it has a LOT of issues:(1) It stinks! The duck or goose (?) feathers really smell. I've washed the pillow several times and it still smells. I had a pillow like this before from IKEA, and after a few months it does go away.(2) It's crunchy! The case they use to hold in the feathers is very cheap and "crunchy". Again, I think after time it will get softer, but they should have used a cotton cover. (3) It's big! I didn't realize how large this pillow was. It said Standard, but it's large. Guess Standard is larger than I thought. Should have measured it.

The first night I slept on the pillow, I woke in the morning with white down feathers all over the bedroom floor. When I removed the pillow case expecting a gaping seam,, I discovered that the actual material of the pillow was split and allowing feathers to puff out the hole anytime I applied pressure to the pillow. IE..My brand new pillow had a split in the cover. I had to tape the hole closed and now I have a very soft pillow with a hard strip on it that I feel during the night. I suspect the tape will come loose soon and I won't be able to use the pillow at all.
I thought they would be more down instead of feathers....
