The ideal light for attic space. Compact, bright and efficient. Light temperature isn’t too harsh.

Easy to install and looks much better than a regular base and light bulbs I have installed before. Not sure about longevity but it’s bright enough for the attic and convenient since it’s not as large as regular light bulb. The light is replaceable but is the “pin” style it may be not as easy to find but other than that it’s great.

Easy to install, works great!!! The best part is I won't need to do anymore replacing of out dated incandescent or florescent lightbulbs.

This light was perfect for a hallway. Plenty of light. I replaced a two bulb fixture and it was just as bright.

I'm disappointed with the design of these. The base and shield are the same as the previous generation utilizing CFL's, but the LED lamp module has it's chips mounted flatly, so almost all of the light is directed downwards. These keyless utility lights use to be my go-to for areas with extremely low headspace and places where an unprotected conventional keyless socket would be susceptible to damage. I was hoping to have the excellent cold weather performance of LED combined with a cost effective, impact resistant design they already had, but the LED version doesn't provide as much area lighting.

This is a good alternative to the old keyless lamp holders. I wish it was brighter though

Too early to tell on reliability but installation was straightforward and the light seems to match the advertised brightness and temperature. I took off 1 star because 1) the base warps slightly when screwing it to the outlet box and 2) the light would be more useful if it were shorter, increasing headroom in a low ceiling basement.

These are great lights for attics and closets.

Bright, brighter, brightest

It is a lot better than old stuff that was there on my porch. See a lot now.

What I like about this light is its low profile in low ceiling areas. I placed these in the attic and in the crawl space before it was encapsulated. It’s 900 lumen at 2700k. It gives out a soft or yellow light. I would prefer daylight option. My crawl space lighting was acceptable before it was encapsulated. The lighting improved dramatically once it was encapsulated with white plastic.

I wanted only the bulb, but had to buy the entire unit in the store. The bulb is great, but I [aid for the extra stuff I didn't want..

Worked really well as replacement for a traditional porcelain lamp socket in my attic. The existing lamp socket location was situated in a place where I've bumped into it twice, and broke the bulb. Replaced it with this LED lamp holder, and the problem is now solved! Well protected fixture, with plenty of light. Leviton typically makes good quality electrical products, so I have confidence in the longevity of this fixture.

Great light for an attic

Great for small work spaces. Gives off a good amount of light with a tamper resistant cover

The Good: Relatively inexpensive, easy to install, bright and long-lasting. The Bad: Stranded wire instead of solid wire for the connections, and no ground lead could be a problem in some jurisdictions. A ground isn’t necessary, because the baseplate and housing are plastic, but I wish that the baseplate was made of metal, at least. The Ugly: Literally ugly, suitable only for basements, closets, garages and workshops where it won’t be seen.
