Poorly Designed
The design of this plug is a throw-back to the 1950s. Internally, the connection screws may only accommodate a 10AWG SOLID wire (and I suspect 10AWG solid won't fit looped around the screws, the clearances are too small) not stranded - and I don't know of an RV that has ever used solid wire for the AC connector. At best, 14AWG stranded might be completely clamped into place by these screws - and I also don't know of a RV that uses 14AWG wire for the 30A AC connection.

Overall quality was poor, the wire connections were poorly designed and inherently unsafe for stranded wire,the spades were crude and I had a difficult time inserting them into the socket.

I needed a replacement for my Motor home and...
I needed a replacement for my Motor home and this worked fine. Some camping sights have the power plug upside down and difficult to connect but his will do the job. Always a helping hand on the floor to help find things I need. Always great to visit.

This plug does not have any sort of seal for use outdoors. This seems like a under designed plug sold as a travel trailer plug. I purchase this one since it was the only one carried by Home Depot and I had an immediate need. I will be replacing this as soon as I can find a better one.
