While the product is good and may work, the diameter...
While the product is good and may work, the diameter of the threaded portion is too small and I couldn’t use it to repair my table lamp. The diameter of the all-thread rod in my lamp was larger than the socket lamp holder’s and you don’t carry any of the larger size that I needed. Bummer!

Fairly easy to install
Even though I'm no handyman, this was fairly easy to install. I used it to replace the hardware on an old lamp, and it works well.

Cardboard Insulator
The only thing standing in the way of an electrical short and possibly a fire is a thin sleeve of cardboard. Even plastic would have been better. Luckily I was able to reuse my old holder and extract the socket from this. Otherwise this would have gone right in the trash.

Easy to install - switch will be hard to press...
Easy to install - switch will be hard to press for the first few times used. After some use the switch will move back and forth easier.
