Spent days trying to get these to close smooth. Returned and purchased regular sliders.

I purchased 9 sets of these and only 4 of them actually self close.

So far so good. These were a pain in the neck to install, but once they were done, it's worked beautifully. I worry about plastic parts as they seem prone to breakage but the plastic seems well constructed so I'm hopeful.

Very durable, smooth, and compact. Installation can be tricky if you're not familiar with hardware installation. It requires high precision, and attention to detail, even 1/16th of an inch misalignment will not allow the rail to perform properly.

I built internal drawers to mount that would slide in and out for pot and pans. Bought a bunch of these drawer slides and like the other reviews was impossible to get them to align and slide in. One's that did slide in did not slide very well. I gave up not worth the time fighting with these. I had good luck in these past with slides from Home Depot's direct competitor and the reviews were outstanding. Bought those slides and everything went together perfect no fighting. Writing this review so hopefully someone else doesn't waste 3 hours of their time trying to get these to work when there is a better option out there. Ones I bought were not slow close just the standard side. Home Depot did not stock this style at stores near me.

Was a replacement for a drawer slider that had expired. Installation was easy enough however soft closing mechanism fails and needs to be reset after every three closes. No matter how gently you close the drawer the slide mechanism reset and won't soft close.

The soft close mechanism doesn't work well. A small red part in one of the slides fell out and was impossible to re insert. Now this slide doesn't have the soft close feature and the other slide doesn't work well either...disappointing.

I guess these are the best for the price. If I had it to do over I would have gotten some cheaper ones. Maybe my drawers are too heavy. They were made from 2X4's.

Junk, would not buy again, after 2 hours of installation and adjustments it still does not close right. The instructions are awful and and vague. These are going back to HD

Right out of the package,1 side works the other does not. GARBAGE. Spend a little extra, buy Accu-ride.

Don't try it!. This product may be good; however I've not been able to tell yet. I spent 3 hours reaching into the back of my cabinet affixing the hardware (this was my first time). When I attempted to close the drawer it hung open about 1 inch. The rear bracket was preventing it from completely closing. I will attempt to modify the rear bracket because this is really just not a fun job. This product should not be at HD because it's application is for sush a limited home owner. The are better/more widely applicable products out there. THE REAR BRACKET IS MOST IMPORTANT. If the bracket is not open to the drawer side; the drawer will not completely close.

How can one give a bad review when they do not have the skills to install something properly. Especially the pro that said "these made me look bad to the customer", really? I'd find another line of work! And the father and son team that couldn't figure it out either. Go work with Mom in the kitchen! I installed mine as instructed and they work great, excellent product!

Never Again I have tried on multiple occasions to use these slides with little success. They are comparable in price and style to others on the market , however, these are notorious for poor performance. I have put them into cabinets I have built and used as replacements; both having similar results. The install instructions for the plastic rear pockets is wrong...it does not account for the additional piece raising the drawer. No adjustments, and even when installed perfectly square sometimes they will not catch and operate correctly. This is not a quality product.

The only thing this product does it ruin your day.

Hard to install. Cabinets must be square and hardware must be installed perfectly to work. A little tough to open/close at first but hoping I just need to wear them in.

I was replacing some older non soft close slides that were not quite as tall. These fit in just fine even though the holes were not in the same locations. The application was a sliding shelf in an office desk for mounting a keyboard. The slides seem a bit tight, but I am not sure if that is because the fit is a bit tight or the slides are just tight. I am happy with them overall.

I hired a contractor to replace all the drawer slides and hinges on my kitchen cabinets. After HOURS of labor, and exchanging several of the slides and hinges to Home Depot, he had them all working fine. Now less than 3 months later, 3 of the slides and several hinges are no longer working. I have to push my drawers closed or even slam them to get them to close completely. I'm frustrated as is my contractor! I'm so mad that I didn't spend some time looking at reviews before buying and having them installed!

I purchased 3 pairs for a cabinet for my wife's craft room. These should be renamed from soft-close to "no-close". None of the drawers close smoothly and all have to be pushed to close completely. I checked and re-checked my cabinet dimensions and drawer box dimensions per the installation instructions to ensure nothing was wrong there. I've used side mount slides before and never had a problem with them. This soft close idea with side mounts seems like a good idea but I couldn't get it to work for me.

I installed these on two drawers as replacements for the builder-grade nylon wheel bearing style slides which had broken. One installed OK and works fairly well with only a slight hitch when pulled out. I invested around 6 hours on the other one though and it still has a pronounce hitch about 3" from closed - going in and out. The cabinet pieces are square and parallel with each other to 1/16" - and the drawer is square to 1/32". I even used cardboard shims to get things to 1/32" increments. I've used similar ball bearing slides in new and old cabinets with no problems in the past. I can only assume that there's something parsnickity about these soft close slides. Never again.

I purchased 2 sets. One set was missing the hardware. Installation is easy. They are sturdy enough. These do not glide easily. One out of the four was not too bad but clearly had drag. I can open the slide in my hand, fully open hold vertical and it will stay open, so it is not an installation issue. I was able to free them up some by using bicycle chain lube. Maybe they will break in, we will see. The soft close mechanism works well, however, you have to pull pretty hard (we are talking hard for a kitchen drawer) to overcome the mechanism when opening. If these were being used for a toolbox or a drawer inside a vehicle I would say they would work well at keeping the drawer closed.

I purchased 12 of these for a kitchen remodel. I should have read the reviews first, but I bought in store. They are built well and are sturdy, but have zero tolerance. After reading the reviews, you will find that anyone replacing their slides with these with stock cabinets have a good experience, but the low reviews are all from those that built their own cabinets, which is what I did. A couple are flawless and slide great, some are just hard to get to "grab" at the end, some pull out very hard and slide in easy and some pull out easy and are impossible to slide back in. One I opened and installed to find that the red tab was broken and will never work. They are almost impossible to figure out why they are doing what they are doing, there's not a intuitive tell. I took a couple drawers apart and re-built them (even though they were very square). One problem turned into a different problem. Are the slides not installed correctly? Are the drawers not perfectly exactly square? No easy way to figure it out. You could probably tweak them for hours and figure them out, but that's just incredibly frustrating. If I could do it again, I'd save a ton of money and buy the cheaper ones that are much, much more forgiving.

I'm building a tool chest out of white oak and I got these for all 7 of the drawers. I use a guide or template when installing these so they are straight and even/level. I pre-drilled the wood and added a drop of oil to lube the wood so the screws would go in easier and not twist them off or break them. One top did break off. Still had plenty of holes to choose from to put in another. The slides are smooth acting and the soft close works well with the drawer empty or full. I like the full extension because I can easily get to the tools in the back of the drawer. Great product.

For almost $20 a pair, you get these hard to close slides. I wish the manual could help me solve the issue, but I just gave up and returned them

Expecting problems, I spent a lot of extra time making sure that I built my cabinet perfectly to start with. Installed first drawer then spent about an hour trying to fine tune it before realizing that these slides just don't operate smoothly no matter what. Hard to start pull, makes loud clicking noise, do not glide smoothly opening or closing, again loud click when it hits the soft close. Directions useless. Zero tolerance, zero adjustably. These slides did not make me look very good to the customer.

I purchased these and the Liberty rear brackets 'designed' for these slides. I installed everything to a T and bam, the drawer bottoms out an inch from closing. It was hitting the rear bracket. Thankfully, Liberty customer service provided me with the tech sheet, so I cross-referenced the slide with competitor brackets and the Rockler 757 series fit perfect and are flush fit. Everything now works great and I hope Kiberty sees this so they can redesign their horrible brackets, now!!!!
