We wanted to put pulls on kitchen and bath cabinets and I was going to make DIY template, but soon learned that Liberty already had one. I read reviews for helpful tips first. The smaller cabinet door template is very easy to use. Make sure it sits tight on the door when marking. I used a tip of a nail that fit through the hole to mark placement of the handle and make a small indentation in the wood. The tip of the drill bit fit in the indentation to keep it from sliding off the mark when starting to drill.
Drawer handle install takes a little more prep by measuring and finding a middle point. I put masking tape on top of the drawer face and marked the middle point with a sharpee. Then I aligned it with the middle mark on the template and marked screw places with a nail tip. I marked all placements and my husband drilled holes and screwed on all handles. It took a couple of hours to do a large kitchen and laundry room. The templates made it very easy and gave us confidence that all handles will be perfectly aligned vertically and horizontally.
A Compromise With Work-Arounds and Better Than Trial and Error

My Kitchen Drawers and Cabinets had 0 holes to start with so needed both tools. Cabinet tool worked very well given the height and spacing of the holes to choose from, either left or right opening. Found it, stuck a pencil in the hole and marked it. Used the supplied (sharp) drill bit to drill the hole. Close enough only I would know I wanted it 1/4" lower (or higher on the bottom cabinets). Ideally this template could have come with many more heights and spacings but these were chosen for a reason I guess. Could have drilled my own pilot hole in it as well. The drawer tool did not work for me out of the box so I had to modify it. There was no center mark on the top of the hanger so I put painters tape on it, measured and marked it myself. Can not believe this was overlooked! Also, it was not molded flat so on the mm side I used the convex shape pushes the top tab of the hanger away from the top of the drawer enough that I had to tape it in place so it would not fall off as I marked the holes. If using the Inch side, it hangs/holds fine. In addition, the 96mm spacing I needed was not drilled (templated) at 2.75" (drawer center height) even though 2.5", 3" and 4" widths were! So I carefully drilled my own pilot holes into the template but did not get them perfect (compared to precision mold). Ideally these should have been included as with other widths above. Once worked out, got the 20 cabinet doors and 7 drawers done quickly even with dark plastic on very dark cherry cabinets. If not for the things I mentioned this would be easily be 5 stars all around for the time savings and consistent placement of hardware on raw cabinets by a first timer. However, should not have to re-engineer it along the way LOL!
Lots of Features, Nice Design, Well Made, includes drill bit
Appearance, missing in-between holes, plastic too dark, no center mark on drawer template, not molded flat
There are 2 major issues with this: First the tinted gray color make these useless on dark cabinets, unless someone stands behind you with a light. Secondly, the lack of a center line for the drawer tool makes it difficult at best to line this up in exactly the center when adding drawer pulls (which is very important when adding pulls to a 3-drawer base). I would recommend avoiding this one unless your cabinets are white or a very light color.

It is super easy to use. I used it for vertical as well as horizontal cabinet doors drawer pulls.
Since two holes involved per pull, I initially thought of using contractors.
After reading reviews, decided to give a try.
I was able to install 20 door pulls with in an hour.
I would recommend to anybody.

I purchased this template to install hardware for my cabinets and drawers. It was great for my single knob on the cabinets, but my knobs for the drawers have a 9 inch and 15 inch distance between the screws and this template does not work for anything above a distance of 5 inches between the screws. Still it was useful to slide along the top to line up the holes. I would only mark through the template then stand back and look to make sure all of your holes are aligned and drill. Not always are the cabinets even and the template won't get damaged.

Junk....Useless. Do not waste your money. The holes in these templates are too small to put a marker through. Also, the smoked gray plastic is not readable. Unfortunately, I threw away the packaging or I would return it.
