I bought a pair of these hooks to hang towels and bathrobes on in our two bathrooms. After two years, they have held up well to constant use and wet environment. The finish is still intact and there is no sign of rust showing. The screws are monstrously long and since I had decided to screw them into a stud, I went ahead and pre-drilled the holes. This made installing the screws much easier. Even with pre-drilling, the screw heads are fairly weak metal which means you will need to get a bit that fits the screw head perfectly, use plenty of pressure and go slow if you are using a power-drill. Overall, the hooks have been a good purchase as they are stylish, have held up to the bathroom environment and were fairly inexpensive.
Durable, Functional, Looks Great, Sturdy
Difficult to Install
Nice looking hardware that is heavy duty, but not big and bulky. Comes with 2 mounting screws that are a nice 1 3/8" long, which was perfect for the hook board that I made. Able to mount them very securely. Very satisfied with purchase and my project.
Functional, Looks Great, Nice Design, Sturdy, Well Made
Mounted then on a piece of curly maple, and makes a nice coat rack. Hooks are classy looking. Screws are about 1 1/2 inches long, which should be considered in how or where you mount the hook. Overall they are great.
Having renovated my late father's home in preparation for moving in, I wanted hooks for the closet in the master bedroom to match the brass bed and ceiling fan. These are very attractive looking, reasonably priced, hold a great deal, and are very substantial. A person can't ask for more
