Well made and very convenient

The hose reel worked out great, no leak and I was able to wrap 130 feet of hose on it, as long as water pressure is off. Would recommend.

I have had the unit for four years. At first, it looked great, like it would be solid and last for many years. Now, the finish has chalked up and the rubber on the crank handle has completely disintegrated. (I have not used it much, either.)

It probably says in the literature but I was disappointed that the reel is not reversible or that you cannot specify which side for the handle you prefer. Mounted on a side wall and when it is time to wind up the handle is on the wall side. I can swing it but then have my back to where the hose is laying and makes it a tad more difficult to wind up and keep cleaning the hose off as you wind. It is not a huge problem just not something I considered before buying it. A true first world problem, i know.

Great product, easy assembly, love the ability to set hose reel to needed angles. Appears very sturdy, no issues or concerns.

Only thing that would make it better would be if the supply hook up was at the very end so the hose would roll up neater. I attached some old scrap hose to the roller to compensate and it works fine.

Solidly built and extremely functional. Very simple to assemble.

Wife really likes it

Bought this in 2019. Built a secure foundation and attached. Has worked mostly well. I tend to leave it in one position. But six months ago I needed to turn it. There is a metal pin that holds it facing the desired direction. Moving the pin up so it can swivel is no longer possible. The pin has rusted into the one position. Have tried oil and a few easy fixes but hasn't come loose. Hate to put to much pressure on the metal for fear of breaking. So . . . while I really like the heavy duty, quick aspect of this hose reel . . . beware! Oil the pin and move it occasionally to keep it fully functioning. (Price gone up 23% from 2019 to 2022.)

Well made, holes are 16" on center, easy to install in garage or on the outside of the home, the fittings are well made.

No. It was nice, but too heavy for a senior woman to carry the reel into my garage for winter storage. I returned it and ordered a Liberty Garden bronze hose reel cart.

Purchased 2 Liberty Garden Rotating Hose Reel brown color. Hung both reels front and rear of our home which is made of stucco with 4 concrete screws. Very good constructed sturdy material. Put on both reels a 75 ft flexzilla 5/8 in hose 3/4 fittings along with flexzilla lead-in hose 5/8 in 5 ft long heavy duty and also a melnor relax grip 7 pattern nozzle. Like that you can set the hose in the direction you want to go with the rotating reel. The perfect setup with both the reel and hose.

This is by far the best hose reel I’ve ever had. It’s strong, functional and beautiful. It’s also very easy to put together right out of the box. It says it will take 100 feet of hose but I went with 75, fits much better. Love the half moon shelf on top, my wife put a small potted plant on it, looks great! This reel will probably outlast me. Not cheap but worth every penny.

The wood screw fasteners for this model (not included in the kit) are impossible to find ( brass 2-1/2 x #20), as were finish washers, even after going to a specialty fastener shop. When I called the manufacturer, they immediately sent screws for another model - another color and slightly different size. Don't buy one of their units without checking for installation fastener size availability!
