Product is nice and like the texture, but the coloring is quite a bit more yellow than the pictures.

I selected this floor because my home is open from foyer, kitchen, dining and living area and I wanted the same floor throughout. when I opened the boxes and laid it out on the floor I was delighted with the color. It appeared light and with a peachy blush. I was also surprised to see the knottiness of some planks. It is gorgeous. Be sure to spread the knotty planks out so that the floor has an even pattern. the planks vary in length. If you lay it random so that no seams line up it will really look like an old wood plant floor. However, I was surprised to see how much darker the color looked in room without skylights. Reading some of the reviews I was concerned about how durable it will be in the kitchen. The wood is soft. Moving the refrigerator out left a scratch. it is not too bad but certainly something to be careful about.

Make the boards the same length
The floor is beautiful. The issue is the boxes don’t come with a consistent amount of different sized boards. My contractor installed it with the materials he had and I couldn’t stand how many little pieces there were. I had to buy so many extra boxes to supplement. We ended up exchanging boxes at one point because of how many little pieces there were. Just make the boards the same length. It cost so much more over the sq ft calculated and isn’t worth it.

I was afraid because this floor is real Oak. It looks soooo great; everyone that stops by falls in love with my flooring. Maintenance is not an issue; just an adjustment. Awesome floor.

    French oak style!
Amazing REAL WOOD hybrid flooring. Not shiny or plastic looking at all…. Easy install and the perfect “French oak style”. The lips are a bit fragile and could be beefed up but overall this flooring is my new “go to”. I flip houses and this will be my new first choice.

The flooring is beautiful and does have a thin layer of real wood under a waterproof layer. You will lose the waterproof feature if you cut the flooring. My only complaint is that it is difficult to tell if the pieces are properly joined without pulling on the pieces. There is no feeling or sound of a click.

Wouldn’t recommend this to my worst emeny
We bought this flooring for our home when we renovated a year ago. This flooring has been a nightmare along with Home Depot themselves. Within 2 months this flooring started to break where it is hooked together and lifts up. It is now doing this throughout the whole house. We called Home Depot to make a claim to get the flooring replaced through the warranty that is advertised. They have denied our warranty claim just by looking at two pictures that I took. They claimed the flooring was not installed correctly. We hired an inspector and they said it was installed correctly and the flooring itself was the issue. We are now out thousands of dollars and have to completely replace our flooring only a year later. Very disappointed and will not be giving Home Depot or Lifeproof flooring anymore business or recommending to anyone.

It is real wood in the sense that there is a real wood veneer but it is on a plastic composite click-in-place panel. For a low traffic area in a space you don't want to spend a ton of money this is a great product. Still not sure I'd use it in a whole house but it does look great.

Buyer Beware. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY LIFEPROOF.
I purchased this floor a year ago and installed it myself for our single family home. It is gorgeous at first and goes down like a dream. However, it is likely less durable than a true wood flooring we are finding. Nearly every plank has a scratch, dent, divot, pit, and/or stain. We are a normal family that keeps a tidy home, no shoes in house etc. So as the floor is basically new and practically worthless now. (see part 2)

The flooring is of high quality. It was easy to install and we have decided to use the same type of flooring in more rooms now that we have seen the quality and ease of installation.

Scratches if you look sideways at it
We’ve had this installed a month and it’s already scratched up so badly. We have dogs, but they have clipped nails and aren’t crazy on it or anything. Very disappointed to have spent this much on a floor to have it look so worn so quickly.

Samples show pretty clear wood, but actual product was full of knots. Returned for refund

The flooring looks great. I was surprised that the “variable lengths” was only full and half in 27 boxes. I was also surprised and how intensely the end seems needed hammered together in order to fall into place. Overall, I’d buy it again.

Loved the flooring! It’s very easy to install with the right tools. I ordered spacers for the perimeter which helped immensely! It’s pricey at 100 dollars per 21 square feet. I don’t think I can afford to do the entire house at that price. We are remodeling my mother’s house one room at a time; starting with her bedroom! My son helped me install the floor when he came for Christmas! My mother loves the floor, but it cost me over a thousand dollars for the floor alone….before my labor. Which I’m not charging mother for. It would have been another 1000 dollars to have someone install it. It’s pricey…. But I’m hoping this will help keep her more comfortable as she ages. I’ll probably get cheaper floor for the rest of the house even though I would rather not. The Shenandoah oak looks amazing in her room! It goes perfectly with the wood paneling, that I converted into planks to be more creative with installing. It’s so much better than hanging a boring 4x8 sheet of a seventies panel on the wall. And at 20 bucks a sheet; I can afford that all day every day! The creative freedom created by cutting the panel into planks is endless! Home Depot is BYYY FARRRRR my favorite place to shop!

If your looking for durability the last thing you want is engendered hardwood LVP.. you can drop a nickel from waist height and dent this stuff, by far the worst choice I’ve made in my home remodeling.. if your going with LVP do not go with the engineered hardwood you will regret it @ 4.39$ a square foot the durability is trash. I’m this case the more you spend does not mean you get what you pay for… buyers beware.. not having planks that look identical is not worth the stress of knowing absolutely anything you drop on this floor is going to leave a noticeable dent…
