Material is very strong. Took much longer to build than expected. Difficult to get doors to level.

I thought this should have been covered under warranty, but with not much other choice, agreed to pay for the way overpriced shipping to replace the roof. In the process One of my emails got displaced, the parts got back ordered, the shipping was ridiculously slow, the invoice amount and the charged amount were conflicting and some of the main parts were missing.

After finished installation.The vinyl part started changing the shape. The door cannot close because of this. Poor material! And the customer service said you may dissemble it and return. How’s that possible? Do not buy it.

Purchased this shed last fall, assembled it recently and absolutely love the product. I am impressed with the ease of assembly and how solid the finished product is on a cement pad.

We built a wood floor that took almost a whole day then with two elderly people my son was able to assemble the shed in about 8 hours

The given ID parts numbers in the instruction pamphlet did not match any of the parts numbers in the labeled bags of the parts. The drawings were not completely accurate. Couldn’t make out which ends to match up. Some pieces had unexplained square holes . I watched many videos of the steps taken to erect the sheds, but there were no step-by-step directions that showed the assembly of parts and the fasteners used. One video said that I could put the big single window panel on any wall I want. My kit came with two entrances, two narrow window panels and the single big window. I wanted to have the two small windows on either side of the front door, the second entrance on the left side of the shed and the single big window on the right side of the shed. The back of the shed is inches away from a solid fence. That’s why I wanted the big window panel on the side. Many of the panels I couldn’t “pop” into place so I ended up securing them to the base with angle brackets. It would be so helpful if Lifetime would make a very detailed DVD on every aspect and every step in putting together their sheds for Do-It-Yourselfers.

Looks great. A couple of missing pieces of hardware. Floor is cheaply constructed. Instructions are difficult to follow because pieces aren’t adequately labeled.

Bought the shed two years ago. Really like it. Took a long time to build but worth it. Had some issues with the snow this year and got great support from customer service (Jose). Above and beyond my expectations.

I bought this item a couple of years ago and wish to maintain it.

I've gone back and forth with 3rd party companies , telling me that they could deliver my parts but everyone of them failed. Then, as I should have from the start of all this, I called "Lifetime " customer care.. no Hassel no delays ..he knew exactly what part I was trying to explain and sent it on its way with a confirmation at my email ... Shawn is very professional and curious and knowledgeable ..but what I enjoyed the most is he put me on hold to physically see that he had my parts in stock ...that mad the experience worth everything.. WE ARE REALLY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE WE MADE, SHED IS HOLDING UP GREAT A MONTH LATER. THERE ARE A LOT OF PARTS TO IT.

I purchased this shed a month ago and we are so delighted with it. The 10 x 8 has plenty of room for 5 mountain bikes, my snow tires and wheels, backpack blower, weed wacker, etc.

Built in one day by myself. I would suggest using your own tube of caulk to seal the skylights because they both leaked the first time it rained. The only difficulty was with the center truss. Directions werent clear but didnt take much to get it right. Overall it seems to be a very sturdy, durable and hopefully long lasting shed. It holds all of my lawn equipment including and above ground pool

I put this shed together with my wife over the course of one week, 2 hours per day right after coming from work. If you put your mind to it and have the whole weekend dedicated to the build, then it will take 8 hours or so to finish the work. For the piece of mind, we silicone the skylights and the front windows. It rained a lot here in Toronto before the Thanksgiving holiday, and not a drop of water inside the unit. For anybody buying this product, keep in mind that other than the quality of the unit, you will receive support from the Lifetime team. Our support came in the delivery of the snow kit, which is a must to install in all the winter areas. Looking forward to receiving and installing the snowload kit before the snow comes to Toronto this winter. To the engineers and marketing team at Lifetime, a couple of suggestions: 1. Do not ship these units to US northern states and Canada without the snow kit. 2. Include more 1"x1"x1/16" angles to reinforce the walls, especially the back wall, in the area of the truss support. I believe, customers would not mind paying a bit of money for having, in the end, a long lasting product.

I bought a shed 9 years ago, it was damaged this past winter reuiring repair. This is a very good shed but it is somewhat complicated due to the style and design. Repairing it was not as straight forward as I initially thought, ordering the correct parts was a challenge and I made some mistakes. In addition there were some parts that were different in color to the original ones from 9 years ago. It took some back and forth with Caleb, the rep I was dealing with but in the end Lfetime went above and beyond what I anticipated to resolve my issues.

I bought this a month ago, the instructions were a little difficult to follow and definitely need two people to assemble and build. Overall, it took 12 hours to build. Some minor nuts and washers were missing and Lifetime put in mail on notification. Having a level base is key!! My concrete base was unlevel by just millimeters or 1/8 inch and had to buy extra shims at hardware store to adjust or doors will not function. Had to partly disassemble once because tall and short door bars were place incorrectly.

Overall seems to be a good shed. With winter coming soon to Alaska, this will put a good test to its ability for handling snow and severe cold. For the most part, this can be put together by one person. When you get ready to install the doors, gables and roof parts it does help to have help.

worst shed I ever bought, missing parts 8-weeks half up in my yard. 65 pages of instructions Really!! Still do not have my roof parts yet and still waiting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the product and the helpful sales rep at lifetime, Sylvie had the best response time and helped out so much.

We have had our shed for about 5 years and it has held up great. When we first built our shed we put it on a pressure treated wood foundation but because of Utah winters and sprinkler systems the wood began to break down. We decided that we needed to pour a cement foundation (would recommend going this route the first time) and then put our shed on that. We disassembled our shed, poured our foundation and then rebuilt our shed without any issue. The shed is still working great and withstands all sorts of weather without any leaks even with being built, torn down and rebuilt.

I have spent the past week putting this together, mostly by myself. I appreciate the instructions and videos I have watched online. The most difficulty I have had is 'snapping' the walls into floor base. The free shipping was great, but our street is too narrow for semi so that was a bit stressful, my yard guy and his trailer and a good truck driver saved the day! Product is good quality and I look forward to years of use!

I purchased the 10 X 8 Lifetime storage shed with front & side doors about a month ago. This unit stores all my outdoor summer tables (2) & chairs (14) perfectly. Very pleased with the shed and the install guys were great!

Some of the panels fit like a glove, others took some persuading

I bought this a month ago and I'm glad I did. I had someone assemble it for me and we discovered an important missing part. I contacted customer service and they resolved the matter quickly. Still worth the extra time spent, as it is very well constructed.

I bought the shed a couple of months ago and found it fairly easy to assemble. I did find that the door latches don't work that well and I had to slightly modify them so they would latch. Even with the modification, I still find that I need to careful close the doors so that they latch properly. I also had to add a rubber strip to the bottom of the doors to close the small gap at the bottom. Overall is seems like a good product.

I have recently purchased this product. Took me 3 full days to get the product installed. Instruction in the Manual is very bad. I had to watch a lot of help tutorial videos. ****NONE OF THE ITEMS WERE MARKED (LABELED) EXCEPT BAGS OF SCREWS.**** ***PREPARE TO MEASURE PARTS TO IDENTIFY.**** I consider myself very handy with tools but this Shed really beat me. Had to take an extra day off from work to install. In past I had bought Rubbermaid shed in my old house and I had it build in 1 day with 1 extra person help. Do yourself a favor. *** READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT AND YOU WILL REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU WILL HAVE TO DO BEFORE YOU GET THE FINAL PRODUCT.*** I have taken VOW never to buy LIFETIME Products ever again. Good Luck if you still want to buy it.

What a great shed! Lots of parts so it takes a couple of days to put together. If you're lining up help, know there is about 8 hours of pre-assembly which you can do without help, so get your buddies lined up for day 2 when assistance is definitely an asset. One assistant was all I needed. The shed looks fantastic and even matches my house! It goes together well and the instructions are quite good. I know from the way it goes together that it will be nice and tight. In a heavy snow, I would be very much inclined to clear the roof periodically. Looking forward to moving stuff into it tomorrrow. I recommend this shed.
