Works as stated! “One match”
Wanted to test it out and didn’t believe it would work with one match... Well it did, and the flame gets really big once it’s fully lit... I do suggest having some lighter fluid to spread the flame quicker once lit otherwise it will take a while to spread.. Other than that I highly recommend

Simple
Easy to use. I just stuck a twisted piece of paper towel down the center, lit it and away we went. Takes maybe 15 - 20 mins befor it starts putting out heat. But the way it’s cut it burns slow from the center outwards. Once it’s halfway burned up it starts putting out some hood heat for how small it is. Perfect for a backyard fire pit to hang out for an hour + befor bed.

Did not light...smoked for an hour
I don't know how this got so many great reviews. My night planned for my girls to roast marshmallows is ruined because it's taken over an hour for this to catch and they have to go to bed and I have to wash smoke out of my hair. There was no wick as the instructions indicate. I used WOOD matches and the center would not catch. I plan to bring this charred junk back to home depot for a refund it was that bad. It ended up being a high platform for a fire I had to build on top of it. The silly log still hasn't caught with a fire on top of it!

Perfect in Fireplace
These logs are a nice change from regular firewood. I agree with another reviewer who stated that they don’t provide a lot of warmth from the fireplace until they break open but until then, it’s still nice to watch. Some of the wicks in the center or either moist and a broken off. I have found that taking a piece of kindling and pushing it down in the center actually gets the fire going a lot faster and creates a more consistent burn. In the fireplace it burned for a little over two hours almost 2 1/2.
