Out of the box the remote worked for only one push of the button. I checked the battery, which was ok, so it had to be the flimsy remote. The problem with a dead remote is that the light with stay on one color and can't be changed. At least if there was a button on the fixture for changing the light's colors, I would have kept it and not returned to the store for a refund.

This showed a web design on the house only when I placed it about 5 feet away from the house sidings. This can definitely be used for every holiday especially Christmas. It looks like line stars when I pulled it further away about 10 feet. The closer the projector the more vibrant the colors are.
