Used as pathway lights on the ground and so far so good. Only bad thing was I need a few more boxes and our store is out.

The LED Colormotion c7 light string set is good quality light string set that puts on a beautiful light show. The light show consists of alternating through the different colors, flashing, fading strobing and changing back to different solid colors. Note that this c7 string doesn’t come with the built in mounting clips that most c7 strings come with. I also wish that you could switch through the different modes and pick one you like. You are stuck with the factory set light show.

For those of us who like the bigger C7 Christmas lights, but could do without the heat, breakage, and lamp replacement, the Colormotion is a good compromise. The all plastic set consist of 24 C7 sized faceted lamps on a 23 foot string. The string comes with built in fuse and can accommodate additional strings on either or both ends. Due to the very low power consumption of 12 watts, you can string together over 10 strings, that over 230 feet. Each string includes a module that controls the way the lights will blink, glow, change colors, and the rate that it all happens at. There is no remote control and therefore no way to control any of the light parameters. When off all the bulbs have the same frosted look. The lamps remain cool to the touch, is hard wired into the string and are capable of displaying a multitude of colors. While LED strings cost more then the old school incandescent, the LED power consumption is so low that in a few seasons of use you will have offset the additional cost through the energy savings. While not as bright as incandescent they also don't present a burn hazard. These can be used indoor or outside. And because it uses LED lamps you won't need to worry about bulbs burning out. My only concern is when attaching additional strings will all the modules work in sync or with they operate independently? No way for me to determine as I currently only have one string. The many colors and patterns the control module generate offset the lack of manual control. Whether using a single string around the fireplace or going across the front of the house, the variety of color and pattern will add to the festive look and won't ding your power bill. These will definitely be part of our Christmas decoration.

Long string of bright LED lights with multiple modes, for both indoor and outdoor use. There are 24 C7 bulbs on a 23 foot (7m) green plastic coated string. They are all clear while unplugged, but when lighted they turn different colors (red, green, blue, purple, white, yellow). They go through a sequence of color changes so they are sometimes all lit up the same color, then two colors, then multicolor, and then flashing. The lights are nice and bright and I prefer LEDs to incandescent for several reasons (brightness and energy efficiency). These lights may be strung end to end. This is a nice addition to my holiday display. They don't recommend using these unattended, so I would suggest a timer.

You get 24 lights along 23 feet of string. There is an additional 9 inches of cable on either end. You plug them directly into 120V AC power. The plug contains small fuses and are thus also suitable for outdoor use. (Having these things flashing continuously inside a living area would probably drive one crazy anyway.) Modern multicolor LEDs make it possible for these lights to change color and for the string of lights to display different patterns and lighting effects. They dance about, flash and change colors continuously. The colors are red, blue, green, orange and white. Each string consumes 12 Watts of energy. The other end of the string is a power socket allowing one to chain together multiple strings. The maximum the wires can handle is 1.8A allowing 18 such strings to be combined. The only difference between these lights and the similar product indicated as C9 lights is that the plastic cover mounted over each LED is a bit smaller than the C9 ones. They are so similar that they used the same photograph on the box and did some photoshopping to make them a bit different. Two plastic covers were missing from my string of lights. Not even loose in the box, just completely missing. There were two spare fuses loose in the box. Made in China
