Been using these for awhile at work and love them. They are cheap costing and will keep the brushes wet for the whole day. CAUTION: Do not order these online though. Mine got packaged in a mailer bag, and 2 out of the 3 were broken. There isnt much protection in the bag, and since they are plastic brush covers, they can break easy.

I was really excited to use this product, but the first time I used it the plastic warped, which created a gap and ruined a $15 brush. I contacted support and never heard anything. Avoid this product, waste of money.

I have been using The Paint Brush Cover for all my painting projects, since it came to The Home Depot and I have to say this product is fun to use because it really works to keep my brush wet! TIP: I do dip the brush in paint before I put it in the cover, which helps keep it wet for weeks. The days of using a baggy are over! What a mess and bags are bad for our environment. Great job Paint Brush Cover!

This works for me! As a professional painter/carpenter, I use this ALL THE TIME and have for a couple years. Is perfect for 1-5 day painting projects. Anything after that I would not expect my brush to be all that useable so I clean them. I see people commenting the brush does not last as long as the company's 30 day claim but for me that's OK. It still saves me time from having to wash my brush after every use. (plastic bags good for emergency but may deform the bristles) I paint indoors and the brushes are stored mostly indoors and occasionally in the van so I can't speak to being stored in a hot garage or in the sun and if the cover does not snap closed maybe that one is defective or dried paint in the rim is causing it... I have left a wet brush in the cover for up to 3 weeks and while the brush was not paint ready, I was still able to wash the brush ready to use again. There has also been a time or two when the brush was done after a couple weeks. (On me for not getting around to cleaning it or forgetting) I mostly use the same style Purdy 3" brush and the cover has no problem snapping closed. I have had 2 for a couple years now and I noticed the hinge on one of them is cracking but the amount of time this has saved me is well worth the few bucks I paid. Also perfect for storing a clean brush when the paper cover is no longer useable. In fact I prefer to store a clean brush in the cover as sometimes things get tossed around in the van and there is no threat of the brush getting out of shape and becoming a "Duster". Wish I could purchase more at Home Depot but have not seen them available in a while.

Bought 3 of these and my brushes dried out in less then 2 weeks!!! Great concept. Poor design.

I love this product! Whenever I switch between cutting in and rolling, I just pop my brush into the cover and start rolling. If I want to take a break for lunch or to deal with the kids, it's a life saver that I don't have to wash the brush every time. Such a great idea!

Alright look, the manufacturer saying this will keep a brush wet and in paint ready condition, with paint on it stored inside this, for 30 days, is just not true. This fact accounts for the bad reviews here. That doesn't mean that these things aren't awesome though. If you need to stop and take lunch or take a break or stop for the night and finish painting tomorrow or don't have a good place to clean your brushes at the job site, these are perfect. Don't expect them to last for weeks and weeks.

Put paint brush in and forgot about it for 2 weeks. Brush was still wet and cleaned right up.

Works as advertised. Better, even.

I actually live it. It has saved me from having to buy new brushes for the same paint job. I tested one out overnight and the brush was still good the next day.

I love these covers, bought this one and the roller cover. Helps keep my brush and roller from drying out when I’m painting alone and switching back and forth between edging/rolling. I always get behr marquee which tends to be thicker and dries more quickly so I don’t like to leave my brush or roller drying out in the air for too long. I don’t leave my brush or roller in them overnight but they clean up nicely when I’m done for the day.

Love it! Saves me on buying more brushes.
