This mig wire acts like spring steel and if you are not careful when loading it, it can unravel in your hands, and you can lose part of the spool in a tangled mess. I feel this product is packaged incorrectly and needs to have an adhesive safety strip that gets removed after a lead portion is feed into the rollers. I'm sure Lincoln loves it when customers like me screwup so they can sell more mig wire.

I only use flux core wire when welding outside cause it's shielded, otherwise I use regular gas wire in my shop. I use Lincoln wire cause i feel it's better quality than most bargain store wire.

I highly recommend you buy extra rolls of 035 in. innershield NR211-MP flux-core welding wire for your Lincoln Welder. You do not need to run out in the middle of a project.

I mostly do galvanized welding and I have to say, I find rhis wire a great product to work with. I get a good quality and highly resistant welding. I also noticed very little splatter during the welding process and I definitely recommend this product for any applicable welding project

The spool this comes on is too small. This small wound spool causes the wire to start unwinding on its own even when its installed on your welder. My experience with the first spool was not good. The entire spool ended up unwinding and tangled to the point it was a 100% wasted purchase.
The product may be good but the delivery method is very flawed. It should be a larger diameter spool and the retaining lips need to be larger to help keep the product on the spool even in the event it starts unwinding on its own.
I started using my welder after install and the wire stopped feeding so I stopped to inspect. The wire had come off the plastic spool inside the welder all tangled up and kinked. Mind you the spool has some friction on the holder inside my welder so it cant freely spin but the wire had enough spring to start spinning in reverse just enough to give slack then the entire thing pops off the spool making it a useless mess.

This is a piece i made from screwdrivers and spark plugs. I buy my supplies from HD because the price is good and so is the quality. I bypass the local and national competitors of HD by by my supplies. I like the store and the people and nice but not pushy.
I like the price i get from my HD store as well.

Good Wire for General Fabrication
As others have stated, this wire spatters a bit more at lower amperage settings, but at higher amperage and speeds - it works great. Value is "okay". I've seen cheaper elsewhere for comparable wire, but it's convenient when I can pick up a spool on my way home from work. Bracket shown was welded with this wire. (Yes, lots of grinding and polishing on this, but for such thin wall tubing - the end result was pretty satisfactory). I fabricated the bracket in order to extend the usable platform of my MIG Welding Cart to support my Lincoln "Buzz Box" stick welder on the back where the CO2 bottle was meant to be. It turned out pretty good and is solid.

Works OK but spattered more than I expected
I am used to MIG welding using CO2 gas and non flux wire and tried this for the first time with a new 140 AMP 110V welder from Home Depot. I am far from a 'professional' welder but have done enough auto restoration projects to be able to lay down a decent-ish seam of weld that will hold reasonably well.
It seems to work well when I was welding two pieces of 1/4" steel plate together for a gate keeper however when I tried to weld some thin wall tube and turned down the voltage to avoid burning holes in the tubing, it spattered more than I would have expected. This could be one of the downsides of using a flux cored wire instead of a straight wire/gas set up or also because I may have needed a smaller .024 gauge wire for the thinner walled tube.
Either way, it seems to weld well with less spatter on higher voltages and thicker metal.

Over priced
Local farm supply charges 9.95 for 2 lb spool. 1 lb doesn’t go far. Other than that it welds good. I put a few rounds of electrical tape on the new spool before I feed it into the cable to keep it from making a nest. After it’s fed thru and tensioner adjusted I take off the tape (of course).
