Extremely frail wood, also the holes were not cut correctly, I had to drill my own holes in order to get it put together.

Nice entryway bench for our small entryway. Nice wood and color, although a nice walnut, the bottom portion of the bench is a thinner wood. I would have like the same thickness throughout the bench. All in all a great value. Please note a drill makes this much easier to put together.

I love this bench! The seat easily lifts but you have to physically close it, it doesn’t just drop. So nice to not have to worry about kids having their fingers smashed when it closes. It’s a beautiful bench, was easy and fast to assemble and is very sturdy. Absolutely perfect.

We purchased the same walnut storage bench from Home Depot in BC, Canada. The Canadian bench we purchased was made from solid wood and was of much better quality than the one we received. We wanted a second bench could not find it for sale in Canada. I was happy to find it on-line through Home Depot.com. Unfortunately, when we received it and lugged it home to Canada from the USA, it was missing parts, had a huge scratch on the seat and was not solid wood like our previous purchase. It is advertised as Walnut but has the cheap look of cherry and melamine. We can not return it in Canada and it is too much of a pain to lug it back to the USA, so we are stuck with it. Shame that Home Depot are re-creating identical product designs, in such cheap quality now.

This is a very very cute item. It was a little challenge to put it together but at the end we were very satisfied with the product

My Linon storage bench was everything I excepted. I love how it looks by my front door. It was easy to put together in no time. I definitely would recommend this to my friends and family.

this bench was defective and has a wood piece in the way of the bench seat closing and also in the way of assembling the bench, we were very disappointed with this product, also with home depot customer service who did nothing to help us except tell us to call the manufacturer who does not answer their 800 number! additionally the glue they used to assemble it, has drips going down the side of the armrest, and uneven paint staining

Bench is priced too high for the quality. If it cost 50% less it would be ok

Easy to assemble, attractive and fairly sturdy.

Nice bench! Holds quite a bit of stuff too.

Recieved bench, all pieces were intake. Nothing crack or broken. Up assembly one of the bracess started to crack. The hole was undersized. Glue the piece together and drill out the pilot hole. One of the connecter was missing. Got that taken care of. It looks good for the price.

This is a beautiful, solid bench that absolutely transforms our entryway. The only bad thing were the instructions on how to put it together. They weren't clear as to the order of when to do each step, and the names of the parts. Now that it's put together, I love it.

Excellent product. Easy to assemble.

I am very happy with my purchase. This is a quality bench that seems very sturdy. Sitting on it with no reservations and the storage below will be great for scarfs and gloves as this is in the hall at the front door entrance. Fairly easy to assemble but have two people to attach the long bifold seat and follow the instructions and keep everything loose until it’s all fitted together. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for what it is. Easy to put together but be sure to follow the assembly sequence. Two people make the hinged seat step much easier. Not precision millwork but don't tighten screws before the final piece is in place and all the slack is minimized.

The wood is very flimsy and all of the pre made holes did not line up. The first time anybody sat on it, which was a three year old, it broke. Waste of money would not recommend.

Good quality wood, easy assembly. One of the bolt head did not have the Allen head slot so I had to purchase one at the hardware store. Other then that it looks great.

Wood tore up while assembling it. I had to glue it back together.after I assembled it the covers would not go down all the way.

Little trouble with holes lining up but once together it will fill its function in my trailer.

I really Love this Bench it not hard to assemble as long as you fallow the diagram. It's Excellent.
