Great light, not too pricy, work when cold i mean real cold. No annoying buzzing. I didnt realize how dirty my shop was till i installed these!

Excellet, low profile, light, well finished, clean design. However, surprisingly, the base has protruding screws and puch-flares that prevent it from being mounted flush against the ceiling. To fix this, I had to carve out the drywall deep enought to accept the protrudions. A silly and frustrating design flaw that could be difficult to fix if one tried to mount it on an unforgivingly hard surface.

Assembly is required with no instructions other than on the outside of the carton. The Lithonia website does have more confusing instructions. Simply muscle the bottom cover off of the light fixture. Remove the end plates. Now you can attach the light bulb receptacles to the light fixture. Replace the end plates & knockout the round punchout plate in the center of the light fixture. This is for the AC wiring connection. If the attached AC connector doesn't fit your application, cut it off & use wire nuts. From there it is a simple installation. Mount it to the ceiling then re-install the bottom cover using some muscle again. Attach the light bulbs & enjoy the brightest shop light available. Our 30 year old shop light illuminated just the washer end of the garage. This light illuminates the entire garage. My original plan was to place a second light at the other end of the garage. Now there is no need for a second light.

I put 10 of these in my basement for my workshop. The T5 54watt bulbs provide plenty of light. The bulbs are sold separately, you are money ahead if you order a box online. I also wish they had a bulb guard if some sort, a medium duty wire cage would surfice.

Nice light, only issue was putting it together. Could have been a little easier. Other than that it's great.

I just finished setting up a 2500 sq ft furniture studio. I have 14 of these lighting the space and it is like a tanning bed in there!

We like them a lot and will order more. Would be nice to have a cover to fit them in some locations.

We installed this to provide additional light in our work place. the selling points for this purchase: trusted manufacturer; low profile appearance; real easy to configure for mulitple fixtures.

Ballast stopped working after one year of intermittent use. Poor quality.

Well packaged to protect fixture. Easy to assemble. In my experience, Lithonia makes good products.

I have two of these 2-light t5ho fixtures with two other Lithonia compact 4-light t5ho fixtures in my 600 sq' shop mounted directly to 14' ceilings, and let me tell you... the place is light up like daylight! They replaces three 100w incandescent lights and the difference is like night and day (no pun intended). People who walk into my shop are blown away by the light output. Shadows have been nearly eliminated completely and it is so easy to work in there now. They do take half a second to come on and aren't instant but I can't complain. This was money well spent and I couldn't be happier. I'd give these a 5* but the 4-bulbs version are a little better in comparison so they get the 5* and these get the 4*.

I bought the fixture and installed it in my workshop. It is very bright and allows me to see well but it causes a lot of static on my FM radio so I can't listen to the radio in my workshop. If you don't listen to the radio these are good lights but look for something else if you listen to the radio near them.

This is the second time I have installed these same T5 lights. They have great performance, look great, and are low profile. Also pretty easy to install. Remember they don't come with bulbs, so you will need to buy them separate, but overall it is a great product and value.

This light looks great.A customer really liked it ,but she needs the light on 24 hours a day. it only lasted 7 months and the ballast burned out.It cost me time and money now!

Although the bright light is great for dark spaces, the fragile, expensive T-10 bulbs do not easily and securely "twist"in. The "harness' for easy connection did not fit our older, heavier gauge copper. After several frustrating attempts, we removed the harness snap and hard wired it. We bought two and are returning one.

I had to buy this fixture because Home Depot dose not sell a 2 bulb t5 ballast.

These fixtures are economical and easy to install. We were very pleased with them for our barn. We used chains to hang some and others were attached directly to the purlin. Our barn is around 75'X150' and is at least 15' tall in the center. Part of it, about 16'X30', is a shed without any lights but all the rest is fully covered with the brightest of lights.

Instructions are insufficient for non-electricians. However check the model on utube and you will find a funny how to. A little humor at the expense of the product but between the manufacturer's site and the utube video I have successfully put together and hung two of these for use as grow lights and the price was reasonable. I would buy again.

At the suggestion of the Home Depot electrical expert, I used two of these on the ledge in my great room to add extra light. I wanted something indirect, but it needed to be powerful to help fill the room and this did the trick. They are not pretty to look at, but they are not ugly and that didn't matter since they are hidden in my application. The wiring has a new quick connect plug, but came with no instructions on how to use it.

Excellent choice. Took the place of previous (2) 4 ft. fixtures using T12 bulbs. Very much brighter, with very warm color rendition. Should have done this sooner. Will plan to replace ALL remaining fixtures that use T12 tubes.

If you want a hi-efficeiency light that is very bright and takes up small space and is a great value, then this is your light. The light looks pretty basic as is does not have a beauty cover. Also, this light is very narrow so if you install over an existing fixture hole, you will need to get a cover to hide the fixture box. They should have provided something with the light (thus the 4 stars). I had to make my own by drilling a hole in a box cover. Quality is OK as the lamp body is basically stamped metal. Watch the sharp edges. What the light lacks in looks it makes up for in technology. The H05 ballast starts great and cast lots of light in a small space.

My kitchen always seemed dark! I would buy new bulbs and nothing seemed to work. Finally a friend told me about these bulbs so I ordered them. My wife loves how bright the kitchen is now! I put some bigger fixtures in the gsrage too! Thanks for the great product!

I was looking for some lights for my garage and this light was excellent soluation for me.

Replaced existing system with this unit and at worst it took me 15 minutes to uninstall the old and install the new unit. Light comes on quickly and is bright, covers a fairly large area with smaller more efficient bulbs. I am not a contractor or electrician just a DITY so very impressed with the ease of installation and functionality of the unit.

It is so bright in my basement I need sunglasses now.

I would strongly recommend this product to any one - very bright and economical to operate, being a electrician, I feel it is a very good value.

These lights are a bit expensive when including the bulbs, but last awhile and I enjoyed the cold start up for frigid garages. No problems so far.
