I am no electrician but I do enjoy small diy projects. My living room ceiling is only 7' high and had a ceiling fan hanging down that almost touched my head! I took it out, put in this light and the transformation is amazing! It is very bright and lights up the whole room. I still have to patch and paint my ceiling but now at least I can see. I really like how it looks. Simple but nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know where to begin, with this. I got this about a month ago because I was looking for something to add a little fanciness abs light to my room. It looks very nice nice size, nice quality. However it was difficult to figure it out, how to get it open at first and then I had difficulty trying to figure out how to use it those wires that were hanging out I couldn't figure out what to do with those, even though they had instructions I could not figure it out it was very confusing to me, is very nice but you really need to be somebody handy , so eventually I had to get someone to put together for me because I got frustrated. I would recommend this to somebody who was a handy person but not to an amateur like myself

the material of the lamp cover is so flimsy, when we tried to put it on after mounted the light, the cover cracks so much, we could not install it. Since it took us time to mount the lamp, we requested to have a replacement of the cover and never received any response from the vendor.

This is an excellent light fixture! It comes with enough parts to cover almost all installations (see fig. 1). All the wires come stripped plus the 2 power wires are tinned. The ground wire is not. The light and it's lens are very clean and there are 2 really, really convenient lens latches (see fig. 2) that make it very simple to install the lens once the fixture is installed. The whole process including removing the old fixture took about a half hour to do. It replaced a light under the stairs in our house. First power was turned off at the circuit breaker. After removing the old fixture, the cross brace was installed using the previous fixture's screws. Then the center post was installed. Following that the wires were connected using the provided wire nuts. The wire nuts worked better than most wire nuts that come with light fixtures. Then the fixture was put in place and the nut for the center post was attached. Then the fixture lens was put in place and the lens latches closed. The circuit breaker was turned back on. Walla!!! Done (See fig. 3). Then the light was turned back on. It did a nice job of illuminating under the stairs (fig 4.)

This is a slim, simple, round ceiling light that gives 1100 lumens of 3000K Bright Light. It’s also available in 4000K Cool White. It’s slim, just 2½” top to bottom, 11½” in diameter. It’s easy to install: just remove your existing light, or screw onto your junction box the supplied bar with a center threaded hole for the supplied 1/4” threaded pipe that holds up the new ceiling light. Thread the pipe into the hole. Put the ceiling light, cover off, onto the pipe. Put on the supplied washer, then the supplied knurled nut. Make it finger tight, and the ceiling light is installed. Connect the black and the white wire with the supplied wire nuts and the green grounding wire to your junction box. Put the plastic cover onto the ceiling light, and you’re set. The fixture is light weight, just a pound. The acrylic cover cleans easily with a damp paper towel. It gives a brighter light than a slightly larger 14” diameter round fluorescent light with two bulbs, as much light as two 60-watt incandescent bulbs. This LED light comes on instantly, is dimmable, uses half the electricity of a fluorescent light and 1/6 the electricity of incandescent bulbs, gives off no heat, doesn't hum, and will last 50,000 hours, eliminating bulb changing. This is a handy, attractive and efficient light.

This is the perfect closet/utlility light fixture for me. The light puts out a great deal of light and the light color temp is great for seeing colors as they actually would appear outside. It was a huge improvement over the fluorescent light fixture that was there previously. With the constant on/off cycling that is typical for a closet, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs just take a beating and quit prematurely. LEDs have no issues with cycling so I suspect the light will outlast the home. My only gripe would be the nearly imperceptible flicker/vibration of the light. This is a very minor issue and most people probably won't even notice but if you're sensitive to that sort of thing then perhaps this is not the light for you. My entire house is nearly 100% LED-based and none have exhibited this flickering effect so I don't think it is an artifact of all LED lighting.

This is a very impressive light. It is lightweight, very bright, and the white light is very good for a kitchen, which is where I installed it. The diffuser (globe) is plastic, so no danger of it breaking. Someone mentioned flicker. There was no flicker with this unit. There are 144 LEDs mounted on a circuit board. No bulbs to replace. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. At 4 hours per day, that's 34 years!

I got this to replace a fluorescent kitchen ceiling light. It comes on instantly with no noise and gives a bright and pleasant light. And it should last longer than the fluorescent lights that preceded it. I wasn't able to get it to hang perfectly straight because of the way the wires go into the electric box, but the one before was similar. But no one has noticed. Overall I'm quite pleased.

This gives off a very bright, white light (way better than incandescent bulbs). It easily lights up the stairwell where it's installed.

Lights were super easy to install and what a difference between the old circular fluorescent fixtures to the new LED lighting - so much brighter!

Light was very easy to install, replaced 2-light spot light with the LED, what a difference. Two of my friends were so impressed with the difference, they are going to order for their garage and basement.

I installed it in bath room, it's very bright and very easy to install

One old one broke down. We are happy we can replace it with the same one. Just like replacing the light bulb. It won't look good with unliked lightings on the ceiling.

The light provides enough lighting in my kitchen. It's style is perfect for all kitchens. I had it installed by a licensed electrician.
