I have been using this stuff since I was a kid and it works great for hanging posters or paper on a wall. It is a great alternative to nails and pins. It can only handle light things like paper though, not frames. It also does not damage painted walls and is easily removable. It is great for the plaster walls in my house now as well.
You simply take piece off, roll it into a little ball then press it behind the paper then press the paper on the wall. It can be reused as well but over time it can get dirty. This Fun-Tak is made in South Africa.
