This product is great , used it to put back together a old glass light shade I thought would never work, tried other products they did work so after 20 dollars worth of glue this glue worked Thank you

I would like to point out first that this product is not intended as a replacement for super glue. It stays clearly on the back of the bottle that the set time is 30 minutes and the cure time is 24 hours. This means that you must have your components properly secured/clamped for almost 30 minutes before it even sticks properly. I have noticed that other reviews compare this product to caulk, but when it is dry I find it to appear and have a more similar consistency to hot glue. It dries completely clear, and flexible, and seems to adhere very nicely once fully cured. If the picture is uploaded properly you will see that I used it to seal/reconnect a seam in the toe of my workbooks, successfully connecting leather to rubber.

As a former mechanic, I'm familiar with the Loctite name. Plain and simple; if you didn't want a nut to come loose, you put Loctite on the threads. It never disappointed. It seems the same is true with Loctite Go2 Glue. So far, I've applied Go2 glue to both wood and plastic. The desired results in each application were achieved. The manufacturer states that Go2 Glue can be applied to wood, metal, leather, plastic, stone, glass and more. It's shock, water and temperature resistant. It's re-positionable for 5 minutes, sets in 30 minutes and cures in 24 hours. The plastic bottle has a screw-on cap. There is a slight resistance when screwing the cap on and a distinctive locking sensation when the cap is sufficiently tightened. Combined, these should prevent hardening of the glue when in storage. The pointed applicator puts the glue where you want it. The glue itself has a thicker consistency than that of "Super Glues" so it tends to stay where you put it. The glue dries clear and there was no offensive odor that I could detect. The product is made in Germany.

I have been using GO2 Glue for a couple years now for leather purse projects, very good adhesive and stays pliable. Great glue

I would suggest that “Go2Glue” might be a misnomer for this product. Although it has proven to me to be very good for certain limited applications, if quick adhesion is a priority, there might be other adhesives you will go to first. I used this glue to adhere PVC brick molding together to form a “picture frame” where both PVC glue and construction adhesive had both failed to do so, even after drying overnight. I used this glue to repair a drawer pull that was missing a metal “nub.” I used this glue to repair a broken plastic screen nub. The product dries clear (an advantage over “construction” adhesive), and is “gel like” (an advantage over most “super” glues) so that it does not run or drip. Unfortunately, because there is a long cure time (8+ hours), there are limited applications for use of this product. More time could also be required to clean the parts and temporarily secure the mated surfaces (with tape, clamps, etc) in order to achieve a good bond by the time the glue dries. I was pleased with the product packaging – the cap screws on to the bottle which seems to deter glue from drying in the nozzle, although I experienced one instance when I had to resort to using a finish nail to clear the nozzle. In my case, I did not care to test the strength of the bond for fear of causing further damage to my repaired items, but during normal handling the repaired parts seemed to bond well, particularly the drawer pull which had very little surface contact between the mated pieces (a 1/16” nub). Overall, this is a useful product for those circumstances where you need an invisible repair, a strong bond, and you are able to secure the mated surfaces to each other during the long curing process.

Perfect glue for repairing toys, household items and in the garage. I keep 2 on hand because I use it so often. I stays in the house for a quick fix and the other in my garage. You can't go wrong with this glue.

this glue doesn't stick to acrylic very well as it comes off after a few days

Good volume for the price in an easy to use dispenser. Package states it works on plastics. For my plastics, it did not, even after 24 hours. Like that it dries clear. Will use on other projects. They should take plastic off the package as that was the entire reason I bought this as other glues did not say they worked on plastic.

It's a very good glue.
