can’t go wrong
I’ve used loctite my whole life just one of those items no need to try another brand. Blue is the right amount of holding power for most of my fasteners. Just keep in a ziplock somehow it always seems to leak but its manageable

I'm using this to lock screws on my pistol. I'm mounting a red dot sight with a base plate. The seller recommends blue locktite. Be sure to shake the tube before using it.

    Works like a charm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to make sure the chairs in my bar stools were nice and tight… there is no wobble whatsoever now that the screws are staying in like they should. I was having to retighten them way too often. Ive had this for about a month now and havent had a screw back out yet which is awesome

always need to keep on hand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed at how such a little bottle can help with so many issues that come up with today's manufacturing. When I buy anything now days if there isn't any Loctite on the screws or bolts I take the screws out and put 1 drop of blue 242 on every screw or bolt. For some reason most manufacturers don't put Loctite on any more and their products slowly fall apart. I use the 242 so screws can still be removed when needed.

        Use it Every Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you already know the value of Loctite. This is a must have to keep bolts in place where there's heavy vibration/use. Pretty easy to remove if needed. Get it and use it.

          Good threadlocker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is handy for around the house to lock in screws for wobbly door handles, loose bicycle or lawn mower screws, or anywhere where a meta screw meets a metal part. This doesn’t work with plastic parts. It sets in 10 minutes and cures after 24 hours. I don’t know whether it prevents rusting like it claims, as I haven’t used it anywhere where moisture is present. I took one star off because it’s such a small tube. Even though you don’t need much product per screw, it would be nice if the tube were a bit bigger.

            Holds as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son’s balance bike had a bolt that wouldn’t stay tight and I couldn’t figure out why for the life of me. I applied the appropriate amount of Loctite to the threads and I haven’t had any issues since. I will continue to use this as often as I need to keep nuts and bolts secured.

              Must have for Repairs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Loctite - 0.2 fl. oz. Threadlocker Blue 242 on repairs of anything I need to ensure is super secure when using screws and bolts for and will not move. Loctite is a essential part of my tool kit.

                works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 for my husband. He uses this every time he does maintenance on his motorcycles. He swears by Loctite and believes that they have a great product that constantly delivers good results.

                  Works Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Loctite for many years for various things. I recently got the Threadlocker Blue 242 because one of the tiny screws on the toilet paper holder in my kids bathroom kept coming loose no matter what I did. It hasn't come loose since using the Loctite! And since I was at it, I tried in on the hand towel holder on the wall. I didn't think this would work since it's holding a towel and gets lots of use, but it's held up so well and hasn't come loose again! I like that the tube itself is small enough to handle for small projects like this. I also like that it's blue and super easy to see when applying to the screw. My best advice is to make sure to leave it to "cure" for a day or so. I really think that has been the best trick.

Never loss a screw or bolt
I bought some pegs for my motorcycle and on my ride on gravel road I lost one screw and the other one was loss. I bought this Loctite and it works really good. I can still take the screw out if I want but this stuff is really good. Highly recommended

Holds bolts and is removable with hand tools
I use it on RC planes and helicopters to keep the bolts from vibrating loose.

My wife had glasses with very small screws and nuts that attached the lens to the frame. The nuts were always becoming loose even after tightening. The Loctite Blue is for large size threads but I decided to attempt to use the Loctite in any case. I applied it with a toothpick as the parts were so small. I looked with an eye lope after the product had dried and I could see the threads were covered with the product. The screws have remained tight but since these glasses are my wife's spare pair so I am not sure of the long term repair capabilities.

I know that there are other, less expenaive, alternatives available in the market place. However, nothing beats the original "Loctite" threadlocker.

Nope, Its good to use and my mechanical manuals say to use it. With being said I prefer the twist bottom tube type that Loctite makes. Every one knows that anything bought in bulk is cheaper, This product is expensive expensive expensive did I say its expensive !!!!!

For those stubborn screws that don't want to stay put. We have some knobs that can't seem to stop loosening every few weeks, mainly on the pantry door. So I bought some of this loctite and problem solved! You just put a little bit on the threads and screw it back in. Takes 24 hours to cure properly, but it's as simple as that. This particular loctite is for 1/4" to 3/4" fasteners. Pros: Quick way to keep screws from getting loose. Cons: Be careful cutting the tip off of the tube because it can get messy.

                      Life saver
The nails on the latch on my screen door would come loose ever few months, and I would have to rescrew the nails and hope it would stick , I tried everything as you can see from the picture nothing worked. I applied Threadlocker Blue 242 and the latch is now secure.

                        Worked perfectly.
I was having trouble tightening my Really Right Stuff BH-30 ball head on my Gitzo GT0531 tripod platform. Every time I locked the quick release lever, I'd unscrew the ballhead. A couple drops of Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242, a wait of 24 hours, and never had the problem again.

                        Great for air tools
I use this to seal my air compressor fittings and tools. Works better than teflon tape. Also, to remove it you can use new LocTite and it’ll loosen up the old crusty stuff. Great product
