The skillet is just the right size to fry fish in smaller amounts of oil. very even heat distribution, easy clean up. Great product!

Excellent product and great price. I made a delicious chicken and chorizo paella with the skillet the same day I purchased it. 12 inches was plenty big.

This is a high quality cast iron pan at an excellent price. A real value. While considered “pre-seasoned” it is still a good idea to season it before first use. I have used Lodge pans for years now and the 12 inch pan is a great size.

My wife uses it almost daily. Easy to clean as if it was Teflon coated! She likes to wash and dry it herself and than likes to rub in some more oil. May not need all that attention but that's what she wants to do. And has done that with all of her cast iron pans for many years without any problems.

Price was to good to pass up. Did research on numerous cast iron brands and decided to try this Lodge product. I've used this skillet on the stove top and oven and am very happy with my purchase. Don't let the price fool you this is top quality cast iron.
