Love making soup in this. I've done butternut squash and was able to use my hand blender perfectly in it. I've also made chili in it. My next attempt will be a nice pot roast, so I can try it out in the oven. It cleans up really well. It's heavy, but not too heavy for me.

Love economy, color and been great with about 10 meals so far. Lodge enameling seems durable - Martha Stewart’s model got a lot of complaints for enamel chipping happened quickly and easily. Sure didn’t want to speed the $3-400.+ price tag for something I could use occasionally or even frequently. Very happy with what Lodge quality cast iron offers.

Love the oven especially at the price point!Only issue I have is my bread bottom gets way overcooked/light black bottom but that is remedied by putting a cookie sheet or pizza stone on the rack below the Dutch oven.
