The Lucid 3 inch gel and aloe infused memory foam mattress topper is great. This is a thick pad and elevates the comfort of any mattress. It arrived vacuum sealed in a bag and rolled up so it fit in a compact box. This makes it easy to transport and move to the area needed. After removing it from the bag, it needs to lay flat for about 48 hours to fully expand and regain its shape. Installing it is as easy as putting it on top of the mattress and then putting your sheets and bedding on over it. This is very comfortable and amazing to lay on. It helps improve your quality of sleep as it's supportive and soft. The box also comes with a letter opener type tool, which can also be used to safely cut the plastic off the topper without cutting the mattress topper itself.

If you want to add comfort and cooling to your bed them I suggest this foam topper. It is not foam, it is a high-tech gel material memory foam bed topper. The color is an ice blue color, very neutral and pleasing to the eye. It will arrive in a box all rolled up. When you open the box. pull it out, unroll it and unfold it ther will be a high ridge in the middle from the fold. Do not worry. the ridge will disappear within 48 hours of "relaxing", After that it is ready to use. It is a full 3 inches thick AFTER it has relaxed and decompressed and it really does add comfort to the bed and eliminates all the pressure points. In addition it has a 3 year warranty.

I received the package and opened the box from the bottom and missed the instructions. I needed it immediately and didn't realize it had to sit layed out for 48hrs. I was really dismayed thinking it was a terrible product. After opened for the second day the mattress grew almost three times the size and turns out I am really happy with the product. It is very comfortable and it bounces back to normal shape after the initial 48 hrs. very quickly. It works good on a couch or bed. I would recommend this product.

Oh boy - a great night's sleep! I knew this was going to be a good product from the start. Number one it was boxed quite nicely. No big deal though. When you open up the box and see this in shrink wrap very nicely you immediately wonder if you're going to be able to unpack it without ripping it. Don't worry, they provide you with essentially a concealed letter opener that easily slices the plastic wrapping without the possibility of ruining the foam mattress topper. Unwrap the mattress topper to begin with and you will find that the foam topper is not only inside that polyethylene plastic but also inside some sort of a muslin fabric. This fabric keeps the foam mattress topper from sticking to itself. I laid it out on the floor of my spare bedroom and allowed it to come to full size. That happens in under 24 hours. I did take the recommended 48 hours though so that any off-gassing of smells from the foam at the manufacturer would be gone. Within two days it was perfect and ready to go. Simply drop it on top of your bed, put your mattress protector and sheets on and you are ready for a great night's sleep. This mattress topper reacts quite nicely to body movements. It does not leave the foam in a depressed state for long. It reacts quite nicely to body movements. In other words it cradles you for a perfect night's sleep. I love this mattress topper.

This is Lucid 3" topper is great for a conventional or foam mattress! This is a replacement for a 2" mattress topper that was on a new Comfort Gel 10" memory foam bed. This is more firm that the one that it replaced and seems to breathe more. The topper came shrink wrapped in a sleeve inside a 24" x 12" x 12" box. As you will see in the photo the mattress topper is quite compact as shipped. When unwrapped, it is best to locate the pad in the center of the bed and unfold it once the package is opened. The pad took about 2-3 hours to fully expand to the 3" height. Once expanded, you can put on a conventional mattress pad and the sheets. There was no out-gassing of the memory foam hat was noticeable. So far, I have been sleeping well and really enjoying the Lucid mattress topper. I look forward to many comfortable nights! Comfy, easy to unpack, fits well!

This is a very comfortable, marshmallow soft mattress topper. It still provides good support, but it eliminates the sensation of laying on a hard, solid surface that comes with a lot of extra firm mattresses. The topper is packaged in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag and box that takes up only about 3 square feet. For this reason, it needs to be allowed to breathe and plump up after it is unpacked and unrolled. This takes at least 24 hours; the manufacturer recommends 48 hours, and also states that it might give off a slight odor (I didn't notice one) as it airs. Once it is plumped up, it can go on top of a standard sized twin mattress and then covered with linens. There is no overhang, and fitted sheets go easily over the corners. The aloe-infused foam helps keep you cool when sleeping, which adds to the comfort level this brings. The memory foam is also very resilient, returning to a full shape within minutes after being laid upon. This is a very nice mattress topper that offers a good night's sleep with less morning stiffness.

This topper is for my grandson's bunk bed. Small box, big surprise inside. He thinks he got a new mattress and loves it. Opened up the box, unfolded it, used the little letter opener thing that came with it to easily and carefully slit open the vacuum sealed envelope. When I laid it on the bed is seems too small but it began to rise, it had the fold humps in it and I thought "what?" but after 48 hours or less it is the size of the mattress less than a tad all the way around and humps have disappeared. It does seem to not be as hot as the first ones that came out and does seem to regulate to a comfortable temp for sleeping. It is medium firm and will give more comfort than the firmer mattress he has now. It is blue so that is all he cares about at this point. He did seem to sleep "less floppy" last night and that is great. Warranty on it too. Great!

So completely satisfied that I cannot wait to go to sleep! Although the directions say to lay flat for 48 hours, I went a lot further. Reading the other reviews that had a terrible time getting this to totally take its proper shape, I laid it out for about 5 days. I’m fortunate enough to have the room and place to lay it flat(used my pool table) but I do understand that many people do not. So rushing the lay out time is detrimental to the proper use and enjoyment. Everyday I watched it rise and lose its creases so when I finally placed it on my mattress it was nothing short of perfect. I was totally amazed on how comfortable it was. I sometimes experience leg cramps and did notice that my legs felt better on this. I do not move around too much like I used to but when I do move I’ve noticed the very first position is so comfortable. I sleep so much better now. Initially got this because of the cooling effect and I believe it really works for me. I have not experienced being hot at all. So happy to stop playing the covers on covers off game. The memory foam bounces back to its original squared shape almost immediately after moving off. If you are considering a topper you must go for this one. Just remember to really let it lay out flat for more than 2 days (manufacturer should amend this) and this would be one of the best investments on great quality sleep you could ever make.

Having never had a memory foam mattress or mattress topper before, I had no idea what to expect. This topper came tightly wrapped in plastic, folded and rolled into a tight cylinder. The instructions provided said prior to using the topper, it should opened up and left on a flat surface for about 48 hours, in order to expand to the proper shape and thickness. Once I opened the plastic and unrolled the topper, I could understand why, although I was skeptical that the topper would relax to a flat 3” thick mattress topper.( see my photo). I was shocked to see that after about 36 hrs., the topper actually did flatten and smooth out. When I placed the topper on my mattress, it is not exactly the same dimensions as my full size mattress (it’s a little smaller). Once the fitted sheet was put on, the topper seems to be okay. In terms of support, the memory foam does seem to do a good job supporting the body, and it does bounce back quickly. My husband has back problems and he said this topper feels comfortable for him. Overall, I am pleased with this mattress topper.

The Lucid comfort memory foam topper is a good product. The topper was compressed and put into a nice size box for shipping. After unboxing and rolling out on the bed, it was just slightly larger than the full mattress. The directions state it need 48 hours to decompress. Sheets do need to be deep since it will add 3" to the height of your mattress. The Lucid topper added comfort but did not take away the firmness that was liked.
