The box is good and the lid operates well. I wish the rear off set was a little deeper. I had to install a 1.75-inch spacer between the bed and the box so the lid would fully open. Box is installed on a 2003 F-250 Super Duty. The spacer I installed also keeps the box centered in the bed of the truck. Otherwise the box will slide under the bed side and you wont be able to open the lid. The box is deep and with a single lid permits all of my tools or luggage to be stored while traveling.

I debated between the aluminum and steel versions. I decided on the aluminum because of the weight factor. The box was relatively easy to install. Because my truck bed has strap rings on the sides, I elected to drill into the SIDE of the box. I used "U" bolts to attach to the strap rings. This works just fine. The box holds a LOT of stuff. And, it appears to be rainproof. I spent a month in a rainy area and it did not leak.
I've had it almost two months now. Today, the shock on the left side of the box lid popped off. I was able to place it back on, but I may have to replace it. I'll have to work that thru Home Depot. This is the only real issue I've had with it so far. But it is troubling.

Great product, good color, main issues i have is the locking mechanism said it was pre adjusted but it was not and there is no parts to mount the box in the bed of the truck.
Overall i am happy with this and fits great on my truck

Box is of good quality. Looks great in my 2006 Silverado 1500. Fit perfect on top of the Chevrolet OEM Bedliner. Came without hardware to secure to bed.
