Is amazing you can control your lights from any where whit your phone

I'm a licensed Master Electrician and a licensed Electrical Contractor. I used these dimers and other Lutron Caseta products to do home automation with the lighting. The mobile app is fantastic. not only can you you use your mobile device to control lighting but you can set timers and schedules. I also intergrated it to use Google Home. You just talk to Google and it will turn on and off individual lights and any brightness level you say. You can also set it up so when you say goodnight google it turns all lights off. Being wifi you can control every thing anywhere.

I bought this as a test to see if it was a gimmick or the real deal. This product does not dissapoint. Since purchasing this I have purchased an additional 10 switches and plan to buy more. Pros - Setup is super easy (assuming you can read directions and are able to change a light switch) -paring multiple devices is a breeze -it connected with Amazon echo with no hassle -you can use this as a single pole switch or as a 3 way using the remote The only con to this is that there is not a contractor pack to purchase and even though the switches are worth there price, it would nice if they came in a bundle of 5 or more at a discount. Overall 100% satisfied and I will continue to buy more.

This isn't my first set of Caseta dimmers. I've had one and a smart switch for quite some time now and they're by far the best smart dimmers I've used. If you live in an older home built before the national electric code required neutral wires in switch boxes. This may be the only smart dimmer you can control remotely that's able to work without a neutral wire. If it's not the only one it's definitely the best. It does however need a good ground to work. Works with LED's, CFL, incandescent and halogen bulbs. I've tried it with various dimmable LED bulbs and it's worked fine. I even helped someone install this switch in a home without internet access. They wanted to be able to control their ceiling lights from more than one location but it would have been too costly and mess to run another wire to that location and install a traditional 3-way switch. With the pico remote, that comes with the dimmers in this kit, and an optional wall bracket, we were able to install the pico remote on the wall just like a regular wall switch. After pairing it with the Caseta dimmer we installed where the old switch was, they are now able to turn the lights on and off from multiple locations. The SmartBridge is pretty nice and not too difficult to set up. It has some nice features such as setting up scenes, geofencing and schedules as well as customizing some features of the switch and you'll need the SmartBridge to control the lights from your phone if you don't have any other type of hub like the Wink Hub to control the dimmers. If you lose internet access you can still control the lights over your local network using the SmartBridge. Will work with voice commands using Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa too. Lutron also supports IFTTT.com (if this then that) for integrating automation with other devices. If you lose internet connectivity the IFTTT integrations obviously won't work though. The SmartBridge is a bit limited in the types of devices it can support outside of the Caseta line. If you do have something like Wink Hub, Wink Hub 2 or SmartThings you'll lose some of the capabilities you get from the SmartBridge but you'll be able to more directly integrate with a wider range of devices without going through IFTTT. While I started using the SmartBridge I did switch over to Wink Hub 2 because I have a lot of different devices and I wanted to limit some of the things I have plugged in and running on my network. If you don't have any other type of Hub to work with, or your portable devices are Apple and you use Homekit, this is a good kit to get as it gives you everything you need. You can get the same kit with only one dimmer and remote but once you've used one of the Caseta dimmers you'll want more so save yourself a trip to the store and start with two!

The Lutron Caseta Wireless Dimmer with Smart Bridge gives a whole new meaning to remote control. It starts out as a full range dimmer, with adjustable trim levels to eliminate LED flutter and a miniature Pico remote, that is perfect for a nightstand or a coffee table. Installing the wall mounted dimmer as a replacement of a single switch is as simple as any other dimmer and three or four way installation instructions are readily available online. Add the Smart Bridge capability of controlling numerous Lutron devices and my imagination is already getting a workout.
