Arrived quickly. Easy to use; simply plug lamp into the dimmer and use it. I have used these for 15 years (first one lasted about 10 years till the cord cracked) because I have issues reaching and stretching to turn lamp off. The price has gone down since I bought the first one. It's a wonderful gadget that I highly recommend.

This dimmer switch does exactly what it's supposed to! I'm using it with a floor lamp in a corner...

This dimmer switch does exactly what it's supposed to! I'm using it with a floor lamp in a corner next to a couch. In photo it is hanging over the back of the couch... Be sure to order the dimmer for incandescent and Halogen, if that's the kind of bulb you're using; there is another model for CFL and LED bulbs.

We do however offer an LED version (TTCL-100H-WH) that is designed specifically to control dimmable LEDs.

A light dimmer. It plugs into the wall and you plug the light into it. It must be within easy reach so you can adjust the brightness of the light. So you have the lamp cord plugged into this thing on your desk which has its own line cord going down to the outlet. What a mess! Right? Wrong! Lutron designed the Credenza dimmer with a special outlet for the lamp as part of the Lutron 120-volt plug. All cords are out of sight. Great design!
