We bought two switches and they worked great for a little while. One started to go out and not turn the fan off immediately when the switch was toggled. The second switch is still working perfectly. Will return the one switch.

I won't say this control doesn't work for all fans, but it didn't work well with my older name br...
I won't say this control doesn't work for all fans, but it didn't work well with my older name brand knock-off shaded pole fans that former owner installed. While control does have three speeds, medium couldn't be considered as fast as a crawl and low resembled super slow motion. Neither of those speeds were helpful in moving air. High was the same as if there were only an on-off switch. All told, I was disappointed in these, returned them (relatively easily) to HD, and reinstalled my single pole switch.

Actually this purchase was a big regret, if I would’ve kept the packaging this item would be returned. There is no adjustment, only high and low, no in between. I purchased the dial type for my other ceiling fans and they work great. Definitely would not purchase again. Let me know if I can return

Easy to install and looks great. Makes it easy to control fan speed from switch. Speed control is discreet on the side. Matches the color and appearance of the Leveton Decora switch next to it.

I installed variable speed switches for my 2 fans in the house not realizing how loud and annoying the hum would be. I replaced the switches with Lutron 3 speed fan control switches and the hum(more like buzzing) sound disappeared completely! They match my existing light almond switches perfectly.
