This mix has millet and black oil sunflower seeds as part of the mix. The millet falls through the screen on a tray feeder or can get stuck in the screen holes. Not many birds seem to enjoy the millet. I don't need black oil sunflower seed since I buy that in a 40 lb. bag for different feeders. It's a good mix, but I do better with the High Energy Fruit and Nut mix. There is less waste.

Surprisingly we have not had many birds of late on the feeders, but I know from past purchases there have been a variety of birds to this food like doves, blue jays, cardinals, nuthatches, and some woodpeckers.
There is a combination of large and small seed, as well as enough nuts in the mix to attract woodpeckers every now and then. We have used this mix in a variety of feeders.

We have a variety of birds who like to hang out on our ranch. We only feed them in the winter, and sometimes they like the seed and sometimes not so much. All the birds seem to love these seeds. The finches, chickadees, and magpies go really crazy over it. We've attracted a couple of tanagers as well. We even gave a handful to our chickens, who scarfed it up before we even left their yard.

I received my 20 pound bag of Lyric Supreme wild bird seed mix a few days ago. The mix contains over 50% sunflower seeds and nuts with no fillers. I put some out in my bird feeder and in no time at all they were coming to eat. I am not sure that they are very fussy at all. But I do notice some new types of birds showing up from time to time. My grand children love to watch the birds that come.

I always feed the birds. I enjoy watching them come to the feeders. I have to admit that I usually buy a cheap store food and the sparrows are always visiting the feeder. I was really shocked to see the variety of birds that came to my feeders when I bought Lyric Supreme Wild Bird Mix! This seed had a blend of over 11ingredients including pecans, pistachios, peanuts and other gourmet food! I have had cardinals, finches, titmice, nuthatches, and other variety of birds at my feeders! No wonder this food is referred to as the “leader at the feeder”!

First time user of this Lyric Supreme mix. As usual, it really is what it states in the product description. Upon opening the bag, the aroma was indicative of freshness of the product itself. Clean & free of anything that clogs up feeder ports. We do what we can to promote diversity with different types of feeders as well as offerings. Great variety blend with no cheap fillers that add weight but not much nutritional value. I tossed a scoop out on the ground and it drew a crowd in moments. Works well in hopper, tube and platform feeders. Although it's expensive, there is little wasted because what gets dropped below the feeders is always happily cleaned up by doves, juncos, jays etc. Packaged in heavy plastic bags that are not resealable but I store my seed in weather & rodent proof cans in my shed. Recommended without reservations.

I received my bag of Supreme Wild Bird Mix yesterday and filled up my feeder this morning. And let me tell you, those little birds are pretty happy out there. I have a flock of pigeons that eat what has fallen on the ground from the feeder as well. The birdseed that I usually purchase doesn't seem to have a lot of sunflower seeds in it. This might just have to become my new birdseed for my feathered friends. There's not that much waste like most birdseed. And they definitely like it. Win-win. Thank you Home Depot

This Wild Bird Mix is 50% sunflower seeds & nuts. The ingredients are supposed to appeal to a variety of birds: Cardinals, Chickadees, Doves, Finches, Grosbeaks, Jays, Juncos, Nuthatches, Titmice, Towhees, Woodpeckers, Wrens. I do not have all these birds in North Texas, but did see Cardinals, Doves, Blue Jays, Sparrows and Mockingbirds eating from the feeder. And I should add, “the” squirrel loved the seeds and nuts. There is no filler, twigs, dirt or other organic debris, red milo, wheat or oats. There was very little leftover. Ingredients are: Black Oil Sunflower, White Proso Millet, Cracked Corn, Shelled Peanuts, Safflower, Black Striped Sunflower, Pecans, Pistachios, Small Golden Millet, Nyjer, Canary, Sunflower seeds. I’d recommend this Wild Bird Mix for outdoor feeders.

I would call this gourmet bird food. It is packed with several different seeds and nuts, and there is no “filler” that one finds so often in many other, lower priced, bags of bird seed. It is not inexpensive, but one gets what one pays for, so examine the ingredients in lower priced bird seed and compare it to Lyric’s, and you’ll see that the quality of this mixture soars above the rest, and is actually a good value. The manufacturer recommends that this mix be offered in a tube feeder or other feeder that protects it from the elements. In extreme weather, this is a good idea, but in my case, I put it in both my tube feeders and a flat feeder, and it didn’t last long enough to be impacted by a little weather. Every variety of bird in this area fed and the squirrels loved it too. I advise buying a 40 lb bag to lower the price per lb as compared to the 4.5 lb bag. This provides an even better value.

The birds just love this stuff! If you want more birds in your yard you have to get this seed. I've only had it for about a week but the birds are clamoring over it. I have the seed next to a birdbath just sprinkled on a table because I do not have a bird feeder yet. They come by the droves. It has attracted a couple squirrels too. There was a rather large bird here eating this morning. And I have had a couple doves in the mix too.

Since I have four bird feeders in my back yard, I like to try different types of seed to see what appeals best to my resident Southeastern birds. I used to keep them filled with sunflower seeds, but it didn’t seem to appeal to all of them, so I decided to try different mixes. The results from the Supreme mix only took about 15 minutes. Not only were there more birds at my feeders, most of them were at the one filled with this mix. The Finches, Titmice, Nuthatches, and Sapsuckers really seemed to be enjoying the ‘new’ offering. This will become a new staple in one of my feeders from now on.

Lyric supreme wild bird mix is a quality food for the birds that frequent my bird feeders in my back yard. This is a nice size bag also. I have cardinals, doves, blue jays, woodpeckers, and many I don't know the name of. This food has excellent ingredients and not much waste. It has sunflower seeds and kernels, cracked corn, shelled peanuts, safflower seed, pecans, pistachios, and much more. My feathered friends are well taken care of with this mix!!
