Product was bent when I opened the shipping tube. Exactly not a snug fit but good enough when I apply som auper glue to it.

Hi, I had to return this to my local store (which was out of inventory) as these were folded in two places to fit in a shipping box shorter than the product length. The folds damaged the product (shipped to you in full size box to maintain the product integrity). I did find a store with stock and have replaced the three pieces for my current need. Thank you.

Good solid product to replace old seals of same design. just use a wood block to seat the spine into your door channel. Removing your old weather stripping may be greater challenge than putting new in. I've found in some cases someone will have repainted the door frame without first removing the weather strip, thus the strip is "glued in place by the paint, just use a metal putty knife and gently tap it into the seam where the paint is sticking the strip. do not pound on the knife as you could split the wooded frame.

If used between double doors, be sure not to trim the strip too short. Fit it flush to the door threshold and upper door trim before cutting off any excess. It is easier to make the cut at the top of door and ensure you don't have light coming through. Take your time getting a good fit before you cut it!

Weatherstrip falling apart already.

I decided to try this type of threshold land it fit very tight, I liked that no fasteners are required. Good product.

The serrated teeth it uses to grab onto the door frame are not very thick. I had to screw it to the door frame to make it hold in place.

I was truly looking for black colored weatherstripping as we had our door painted a dark blue. HD did not have options other than white or this brown but the brown is rather dark so I went with it. Works as it should. Easy to install. I thought about ordering online where black was an option but kept seeing reviews about the weatherstrip coming already compressed due to shipping rolled up.

I use this weatherstripping for virtually all doors where I need it, and it’s a good product that usually installs easily.
