The bicycle hanger lift worked perfectly. I hung 3 bicycles in about an hour. I hardest part was laying out the measurements/dimensions on the ceiling and then locating a stud to drill into. Otherwise they work good and cleared out some space in my garage! I would recommend!

We bought two of these bike hangers to use in our outdoor storage building. They were easy to install and worked really well. We attached the pulleys to a piece of board. attached the board to the roof rafters, threaded the cord through the pulleys, and hoisted up the bikes. The nice thing is that we have storage area below the bikes.

Easy to install. Easy to lift bikes by myself (I'm a 115 lb woman). Chose to hang two bikes over the hood of my parked car since anywhere else in the car would have limited usable space below, since they do hang low. I have a 10 ft high ceiling, and the bikes JUST clear my head (I'm 5'4").

Very cheaply made. No where near the quality of my old one. Hooks weren’t bent enough, I had to hammer them in shape in my vise. Plastic covers slid off the hooks. Cord very thin, not hefty like my old one, poor gauge metal and too much play in the pulleys. I’ve had it 10 days and am on my way to pick up a new one at REI. THIS IS FIRST CLASS JUNK...SHAMEFUL LACK OF QUALITY.

A little tricky in getting the pulleys to work in sync. But it holds. I had my two mountain bikes hanging in my garage in Anchorage, Alaska during the 7.1 earthquake. They moved like a swing. But didn't come off the hooks.
