Customer Reviews for MIGHTY MAX BATTERY 12-Volt 100 Ah Rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery

Replaced the 4 OEM 75 ahr. batteries with these 100 ahr. units. shipping packaging was excellent and the new batteries charged great with the Ryobi charger. Replacement took about 3 1/2 hrs. and required no modifications to the mower's battery tray. Performance is better than when the mower was new.

I ordered 4 of these to replace the failing batteries in my Ryobi Riding Lawnmower, which has only 53 operating hours on the batteries. Unfortunately, although the batteries appeared to be in good physical condition when they arrived at my door, using a battery tester proved otherwise. All four showed they were to 100%, around 12.7 volts, but the internal resistance measurements, were all above 75 mOhms, and the tester indicated the batteries needed replacing. Returned to HD.

Used to replace the 4 batteries on our Ryobi riding lawnmower and they work great. They are the same height but just a bit shorter then the original batteries

Would this battery work with a 2500watt modified sine wave inverter

100ah battery works well with my PumpSpy inverter backup system. Would buy again.

Purchased this battery to use only for the electronics on my boat. I have a 5 year old Diehard battery for my starter, and 2 separate 3 year old Interstate batteries for my trolling motors. When the battery arrived, I checked voltage on the battery, and it already had a bad cell, only reading at 12.4v. Needs to be charged you say? I have a single, and quad bank charger/tender. Battery never fully charged, I still took my chances and used it. 2 months later, it's dead. Stay away from MightyMa

I use my Mighty Max battery's for my solar system. I'm 100% satisfied with there performance.

If you lift the flat top seal you will find six fill holes with little rubber caps. They come off easy. My battery lost power within six months. After looking into the battery I found it was dry. It is designed not to be refilled with water. I had to punch additional holes to refill. Internal baffles had made it impossible to refill (planned ... No refill .. to keep customers coming back). Upon recharging with holes open I find it gasses at the 15volt point (thereabouts). Acts like a 25ah again.

Definitely works with my ride on ryobi as a replacement for the more expensive Leoch batteries. I went with the 100ah for that extended run time. If you’re installing these yourself, just note that it is a very snug fit and you will need to find a metal or wood block to shim the batteries into place. You will also need to remove the divider on the battery frame to make 4 of these larger profile batteries fit. That divider was loose on my model so that was easy to remove.

Good battery for my dump pump back up system

All 4 Batteries were defective. Despite showing a full charge, testing showed they had internal resistance 4 to 7 times the maximum recommended amount. Home Depot did refund the full amount.

Bought 4 of these to replace original batteries in my Ryobi 48v riding mower. The original (Leoch) lasted 3 years. These batteries are slightly smaller than the original so the installation required some shims to make sure the batteries won't move in the tray. Haven't mowed yet, but just general riding around the mower seems to be back to it's original power.

I had purchased 2 Renogy - 100 Ah batteries from another retailer, for my solar system on my travel trailer. Within 2 months, they would not hold a charge. I returned them and purchased 2 Mighty Max batteries from Home Depot for half the price. So far, these have kept a charge.

Purchased this battery for a sump pump 900W inverter system. Matches specifications of the original battery. Charger LED indicates this battery is charging correctly.

These worked well to replace the 12v 75Ah in my Ryobi electric riding lawnmower. The originals were difficult to find, and were at the end of their lifetime at about 4 years and being used year round (as a plow). These worked quite well as a replacement.

Seems to work fine; this is my second purchase. First one is 18 months old, and they power battery-backup sump pump systems. The indicator lights on the controller unit are "good" so these seem to work in my application. Haven't had a REAL test with lost power, however.
