Perfect grab bar for this handicapped home

Much better quality than expected for the money. I bought 2 for installation in a walk in shower stall. Had to use TapCons to fasten the mounting plates to concrete. Both units were true and mounting plates were flat. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend these grab bars.

Solid grab bar that does what it is intended to do, while keeping a nice stainless look. I installed this for a recently injured patient and he loves that it can be folded up and out of the way in their small bathroom. Interior walls were block, so I had to use Tapcons in lieu of the provided screws.

Awesome Flip Up Grab Bar. Moen makes great quality stuff and this is proof. Installed two of these on each side of garage entrance door along side of a ramp. Very sturdy.

Very sturdy, nicely peened, just the right length from the wall. Our professional carpenter installed a plywood plate against the wall behind the steel anchoring plate because the studs were such that only one side of lag screws could reach the studs. The only (significant!) improvement I would make would be a tension adjustment so the bar can be partially raised and stays in place without falling back to the horizontal position. We installed three units, only one of which had sufficient friction at the pivot to remain partially raised without falling back down.

Perfect. Excellent build quality. Solid construction and when installed properly it provides solid support. I just wish they made a 24" as well.

I was lucky to be installing on a wall that already had wood backing, so installation was very simple.

Put it on wall by garage steps. These are very useful!

Just what was needed.

Excellent quality, easy to install! Actually used as a handrail in a garage, 2 step stair into house, with limited space. I did however use shorter lag bolts than were supplied. Nice that it can be flipped up when not in use.

The only problem are the included bolts. They are not threaded all the way. I didn't have studs in place. I needed to secure to plaster / lathe wall.

Excellent assist..... beautiful piece of equipment that works as designed. Stainless steel, folds up when not needed, and extremely sturdy.

Look nice did not need it send it back.
