We are sorry to hear that the handles ended up facing the same direction. You can remove the handle and the cartridge nut. Then the lower piece of the adapter that has the tab on one end can be rotated 180 degrees. This should allow the handle to line up opposite of the other. They should line up facing 9 and 3 o clock when off. Our Product Specialists are available for further technical/warranty assistance if needed.
