I just replaced a leaky Moen unit that was installed in our home by the builder, I have always been a fan of the design aesthetic of their products. I was in a bind while shopping for a replacement, I knew I wanted a taller pull down or one of the more commercial types with a sensor built in. Based on what was available locally I chose this because it has a clean appearance, matched my existing design in the kitchen and, had the touch-less sensor off to the side. It installed very easily, the instructions were clear and simple. my first realization was that there is not a valve in the head, it is mounted in a Black Box that hangs off the side of the main tube that is used to attach the faucet to your counter top or sink. I was amazed at how easily the large Box fit under my sink. There is a small grey box that contains batteries that attaches with two sided velcro, simple and effective. It all plugged up nicely and took less than an hour to remove the old and install the new. After a week of use I can say I'm still having to get used to the sensor activation but I like it. I will say having it off to the side, something I thought of as a positive does has a drawback, wet hands will drip on your counter top. The handle operates smoothly and has a quality feel about it. Water pressure coming from it is not as aggressive as the previous unit, most likely some water saving disc in the spray head.

Love the faucet and the seeing eye on it. Soo easy and looks great on my new Quartz.

Looks good but does not have good water pressure unless you turn the sprayer on. I like the fact that you can turn the spryer on and still use both hands. For $215 I thought it would be better.

Recently got new kitchen quartz countertops, and this faucet is just so nice. The soap dispenser matches and is very useful. Most importantly...my wife loves it :)

I installed it myself - it was very easy to do. That special tool to crank down the nut is awesome. Looks great and works perfectly. My mom has the same faucet and had to have it replaced due to the sprayer malfunctioning, but I haven’t had any issues yet. I feel like a rock star installing my own faucet!

I have had Moen kitchen faucets for years. The Essie continues the Moen quality tradition. Easy install and use. Classic contemporary styling.

The faucet is as good as any other brand, such as delta or kohler.

Changed out my kitchen faucet with new countertops. It only been in for almost two weeks but love it so far. I had an old Price Pfisher that has given 19 years of great service, warranty, parts and quality. I just hope this new Essie will do the same. So love the simple one hole install on my new quartz. It's very attractive.

Installation is quick and easy. I trust Moen to be reliable because of the other faucets I have are proven to last.

I really like this faucet. The sleek design is very nice and easy to hold. The only thing I can think of that would make it better is if the pause function would stay on without holding it on. I would recommend this faucet to everyone.

It dressed up existing stainless steel 2 part sink. The connection hoses being preattached is ez. Works well and looks good; nice transition style to step up from traditional.

After researching both Moen and Kohler offerings for Motion-based faucets, I settled on this design. I am not disappointed! This design is well-thought out, and was pretty easy and straightforward to install. I was replacing a Moen Arbor faucet with this model. First off, I was replacing the Moen Arbor faucet because in the version I had, the supply line hoses are a permanent part of the faucet, and are not replaceable parts. Ours became clogged, especially on the hot water side, and the hot water flow was only a fraction of what it should have been. This Essie Touchless model has some very good design attributes, which not only make the faucet easier to install, but will also avoid the issues I had with the previous faucet. - This faucet has cleanable/replaceable sediment filters built into the supply line hoses. - The supply line hoses are also separate parts, which can be replaced, if ever needed. - The system installation is quite easy, and given the space you are working in (behind your sink and under your counter) anything done to make it easier is helpful. Many of the connections are "quick connects." - Vs. the Kohler design, this system works with a single junction box managing all water flow, allowing touchless use regardless of the position of the handle. The nature of this junction box means that it is controlling the water mix below your sink, and less hoses are going up through your countertop - the design is remarkably simple. - This faucet does not have a conventional Moen "cartridge" and the handle you see is just an electronic control, sending a signal to the junction box below the sink. There is no chance of leaking water at the handle, as there is no water in the handle - no cartridge. - This faucet came with a Moen tool for loosening and tightening the primary nut, that holds the faucet to the countertop. I had purchased a Ridgid faucet tool when I bought the faucet, but it was not needed, nor did it actually have the right size wrench for a Moen faucet - so that was a waste. In my installation, I also bought the additional Moen 169031 AC Adapter Service Kit. This allows the faucet to work on AC power most of the time, using the included battery box as just a backup power source. It is important to understand that without power (either AC Adapter-based or Battery-based), that this faucet will not open and provide water. It requires power to work. Very impressed with the design, and I'm hoping it lasts us many years.

Great product

I have now had this faucet for almost 2 years. For the most part I have liked it, but just today what I thought was hard water build up is actually the finish on the base plate lifting and now flaking off. So apparently there is a spray-on type of finish applied. I have not noticed this happening yet on the actual faucet-- just on the base plate. Hopefully this will not start happening to the faucet too, or it will really look junky. Not sure what to do about the base plate-- whether to wait for the whole finish to come off and see what it looks like compared to the faucet (the color underneath looks like more of a true stainless steel), or to contact Moen to see if there is anything they can do. They would probably send me a new base plate, but then I have to pay a plumber $100 or more to replace it. Might as well buy a new faucet at that point. Bottom line-- if I had known it would do this, I wouldn't have bought the faucet.

We had two Delta touch faucets in our previous home that I loved. When we decided to put a touchless faucet in our current home, I did my research again since it has been a few years since our purchases in this area. I found that Moen has a better guarantee than Delta. I also have family members with Moen products that think highly of the brand because the company has fairly and faithfully backed that guarantee when products have had issues in the past. I doubt I'll have issues with this faucet, but it's comforting to know that the company will stand behind it if I do. Outside of the warranty advantages, the faucet itself is attractive. We picked the bronze finish because it is on trend and hides water spots well. The touchless feature is just swell! It's responsive and so perfect for washing your hands when they're covered in kitchen mess. Pro-tip: there's a silver sticker over the sensor that will keep it from working on install. I wish there was a tab on the sticker to make it more obvious because our contractor had some trouble with that! I was able to figure it out when reading reviews, so just putting it here to pay it forward.

This faucet is exactly what we were looking for. The spray function is great and I like that you can “pause” the water without having to turn off the faucet. The soap dispenser has worked well so far. Maybe the dispenser is a little cheaply made, but haven’t had problems in the past month.

We picked this faucet when we had new counter tops put in recently (along with a really deep sink). My husband does 99% of the cooking, so I let him pick which faucet he liked. We went to our local Home Depot and he tested which ones he liked the feel of. This one was the winner. We both liked the clean lines of it and felt that it would be easy to keep clean (our older faucet was also a Moen, but had ridges and such on it and was harder to keep clean). Had it about 2 weeks now and really love it. Had a plumber install it and it took just a few minutes to install.

Looks great. Easy installation. No touch On/Off feature is great when hands are messy from preparing food.

I don’t think enough water come out.Its not my water pressure, it the way the facet is made

I am very happy with my moen Fawcett. It is more then I expected because it turns off by itself after running for a while which is a money saver and a safety feature. That is definitely a plus for moen.

Item is as describedfaily easy to install one thing make sure sensor is not obstructed you need around 4 to 6 inches clearance.Its like one wave on and one wave off easy nice when you need to hold a pot.

Cut and dry installation. Love the motion sense and sprayer to my new sink. Very functional, modern and classy addition to my kitchen.

I've had this faucet for a month or so now and I'm enjoying it a lot. The installation was pretty easy and the instructions are good. I haven't had any problems with it at all. The only thing I would change is to have the sensor on the front of the unit (thought that would probably lead to some issues, too) since when you wash your hands and then wave to turn off, you get water splashed up there. The pull-down sprayer is good and it fully retracts really well. Overall it's a great purchase.
