You had a great idea, I'll give you that. But that's where it stops. Received this grab bar/shelf product and I'm so disappointed in your quality. I opened the box just to investigate how should I prep my wall for installation of this grab bar. I'm glad I didn't wait. A brand new product made out of stainless steel and ever even used and it arrived with RUSTED areas where grab bar meets flange! This is ridiculous! Is that even real stainless steel material? Can't imagine what would have happened if I installed it over white matte porcelain tile and white fiberglass soakig tub. Too bad I am allowed to post only one picture because the welds in the front of the shelf look like a 12 year old welded them! Quality is NOT there on this one! Look closely at my picture and you will see a RUST ring around the flange. I'll be returning that immediately!

You need a soap / shampoo caddy anyway, so why not get one that doubles as an ADA compliant grab bar? This is a very nice looking piece. I was able to mount it directly to studs.

This grab bar is a excellent way to add a shampoo shelf and Safety bar all at once.

Double duty for this item. This has been anchored into a stud in my shower . And another one in my tub area. My shampoos are handy and most if all I feel secure holding on to it.

Within a few months of installing this shelf in a fully renovated bathroom, the tile on the side of the bar closest to the shower is rust stained. The brand new bathtub underneath it is starting to show a rust stain too. I have tried everything to remove the stain and am now resigned to having to hire a contractor to remove the shelf and replace the two tiles to which the shelf is affixed. I’m just hoping this patch up will not affect the overall look of what was the perfect renovation.

Great product. Pretty easy to install with the included Secure Mount anchors. My elderly mother loves it because it is functional without being ugly

Well built beautiful grab bar with shelf. Really very happy with it. Easy to install and strong. As we are getting older this should help keep us from falling plus hold shampo and whatever

I elected to drill >small< holes thru our bathroom subway tile and fasten directly to studs, using 3" SS screws, versus hole-sawing giant (1.5") portals for the intended wallboard support mechanism. I also added SS washers to the brackets for additional screw support. We'll see how the finish holds up over time.

Very nice addition to our shower. We renovated shower to accommodate my 86 year old mother. We had it installed during the renovation. This grab bar is a perfect accessory in any bathroom. It’s functional and still attractive. It’s large enough for 3 bottles or 2 bottles and a bar of soap. Glad we made this purchase.

Very nice item the bar is solid and the shelf is a nice addition. We have a child with disability this was a great choice for her!

I bought the chrome with white shelf insert for the shower in my parent's bathroom. I trust everything that Moen makes to be beautiful and well made. This is the best looking grab bar I could find.

Just what I needed, a grab bar disguised as a soap dish. I installed this and the 24" Moen grab bar disguised as a towel bar. The soap dish version included drywall mounting hardware that I used for the towel bar. No other hardware needed. I appreciate that extra set screws are included because I did loose one, thanks Moen. My only con is that I wish the plastic soap dish would snap in place instead of just laying there. My tub just got a lot safer.

Great size, will hold bar soap and shampoo plus it makes a pretty grab bar.

I installed a soaker tub which was much deeper that my previous bathtub. This bar makes it easier to sit down and stand up. The chrome fits well with the other chrome accents in the bathroom

I saw this the other day while looking around and knew I wanted it. I wanted a shelf in my shower but I didn't see anything I like until I saw this on Housz and knew this was the one. Easy to install but not sure it will support 250lb nut it there if I need something to hold onto while taking a shower. I just like the idea nothing can fall off the shelf.

Very sturdy grab bar purchased a couple of months ago. Serves the purpose perfectly in a small shower space and provides a handy toiletries shelf. The design and finish are really good-looking, and the price was right for needed safety in the shower.

After reading good reviews, I bought and have the LR2356DBN grab bar installed on the shower tile enclosure back in Aug as part of my bathroom remodeling. Now just five months later, with not about 1 month not using the shower at all Nov-Dec, signs of rusting begins to pop us on one end of the grab bar closer to the shower (the other end is fine at this point). The orange-colored rust stain drips along the tile, and has stained the tile and mosaic grouts permanently (not possible to clean the grout now). One would think a unit designed for the bathroom should resist rusting much better than this. Very disappointed with the longevity and quality of this product.

I absolutely have loved this combo grab bar/shelf in the shower we installed a year ago. Good-looking, sturdy and helpful. But, quite disappointed that after less than a year, the arm connection to the wall that gets wet every day from the Moen showerhead is rusting from the inside and sending rust drips down my tile. My contractor says it's because there must not have been stainless steel screws in the package. I see on the product description that is billed as only "corrosion resistant." The further-away arm that doesn't get as wet is fine so far.

What a fabulous idea - integrating a shelf in a grab bar! It looks fabulous in my new shower.

This grab bar with shelf was added to our new bathroom renovation today and I am delighted with the apperance in the shower . It adds good looks and usefulness with safety. The shelf is prefect for holding all the daily spa items needed. Our contractor placed it in through the grout to the wooden beams making it secure if we need it for assistance in standing. The only reason we give it 4 stars, instead of 5 is there's a small movement in the outer frame, which our contractor assure us is safe, just want us to be aware it was ok, not effecting the safety.

Looks great in our shower, we don't actually need a grab rail yet but are preparing for the day we do!

This is a very good product for small spaces and for those who need a steady hand hold getting into and once inside the shower.

Attractive and well made. I have bought 2 of these before for another bathroom. I’ve been happy with them for 6 years.
